Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan wujud kebudayaan yang terdapat dalam tradisi suna ro ndoso menggunakan pendekatan etnolinguistik. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, metode penelitian menggunakan metode observasi partisipatif dan metode cakap/wawancara. Tahapan analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode padan intralingual. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini disajikan melalui metode informal, metode formal, dan metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa wujud dari ide, gagasan, nilai, norma, dan peraturan terlihat sebagai wujud ide/gagasan tentang ketuhanan, keselamatan, dan keberanian. Wujud aktivitas serta tindakan berpola ditemukan kurang lebih sekitar 13 kumpulan aktivitas serta tindakan berpola dari manusia dalam masyarakat pada prosesi suna ro ndoso. Wujud sebagai benda-benda hasil karya manusia yang terdapat dalam prosesi suna ro ndoso masyarakat Dompu, ditemukan kurang lebih sekitar 50. Abstract

Research as one of the pillars of Tridharma apart from education and community service, has a central role in the effort to realize the vision of FKIP Mataram University. But the problem is, there are still many FKIP lecturers at the University of Mataram who have not published their research results in 2020. Strategies and tricks are needed so that lecturers can publish their research results. The method in this study uses a qualitative method with the type of case study. The research flow goes through the stages of preparation, implementation and data analysis. The research location is at FKIP, University of Mataram. Data sources are primary and secondary data sources. Primary data sources are lecturers at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP) who submit 2020 PNBP research spread across four majors, namely the Department of Education, Department of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Department of Language and Literature and Department of Social Studies. While secondary data sources are reports and articles on the results of PNBP research in 2020. Data collection techniques use interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses data collection, data condensation, data display and drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using triangulation methods and references. The mandatory output in this research is scientific publication in national journals or proceedings. The additional output is an academic text that can be used as a policy at FKIP Mataram University. The results of the study show that there are still some obstacles faced by lecturers in publishing research results, namely: the ability to write and find ideas, the ability to use technology, foreign language skills, lack of cooperation, literature review.

Abstract

This study is a correlational research that aims to find the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning motivation with English writing skills description paragraph. This study used survey method with correlation with the number of 105 students in MTs and equal Classes VII District of East Praya, Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara province and selected randomly. Instrument in the form of questionnaires and tests validated through testing expertise and the calculation of Pearson Product Moment and reliability testing done using Cronbach Alpha. Verification of the hypothesis is done by regression analysis and found the regression model, and the correlation coefficient between emotional intelligence, learning motivation with English writing skills description paragraph. The results showed that the relationship between emotional intelligence with English writing skills description paragraph is .341 (α .05). The relationship between learning motivation and English writing skills description paragraph is .153 (α, .05). Found a correlation coefficient of emotional intelligence and learning motivation with English writing skills description paragraph is .580 (α, .05). Based on these results it can be concluded that English writing skills description paragraph can be influenced by emotional intelligence and students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan data empiris mengenai peningkatanketerampilan menulis teks naratif dalam bahasa Indonesia tentang lingkungan sekolah melalui teknik mind mapping di kelas IV SDN 2 Semoyang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SDN2semoyang.Penelitian di kelas ini dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan desain PenelitianTindakan Kelas menggunakan metode spiral atau siklus dari Stephen Kemmis danMC. Tanggart. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dilakukan melalui tahapan perencanaan,pelaksanaan, dan observasi, serta refleksi. Pengumpulan data dilakukan denganmenggunakan instrument tes berupa soal pemahaman berupa uraian, instrumentpemantau tindakan pembelajaran menggunakan teknik mind mapping dan catatanlapangan. Hasil yang diperolehpenelitian ini adalah adanya peningkatan keterampilan pemahaman konsep siswapada materi lingkungan sekolahdengan menggunakan teknik mind mapping.Persentase kemampuan pemahaman konsep siswa pada siklus I 63,33%, dansiklus II mencapai 86,66%. Pemahaman siswa meningkat karena efektifitaspembelajaran melalui penerapan teknik mind mapping. Hasil dari data yangdikumpulkan menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia padamateri lingkungan sekolahmenggunakan teknik mind mapping dapatmeningkatkan keterampilan pemahaman konsep siswa yang diukur melalui lembartes dan pengamatan tindakan yang dilakukan pada siklus I, dan siklus II. Implikasidari hasil penelitian ini adalah kemampuan pemahaman konsep yang diperolehakan semakin meningkat jika dalam pembelajaran menggunakan teknik yangtepat, efektif, dan menyenangkan.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the process and results of the development of mathematical LKPD and the quality of LKPD with the inquiry and culture of Jambi. This study uses the Research and Development (R & D) method that is used to produce certain products, namely developing mathematical LKPD. The development model used in this study is the ADDIE. In this development research there are two validators consisting of material expert validator test, learning design expert validator and media test, and also the user target of this product is IX grade junior high school students. The type of data taken in this study is in the form of qualitative data and quantitative data. The instruments used in the study were questionnaires and test results. The results of the study obtained an increase in students' mathematical creative thinking skills in the medium category based on the gain test seen that the score obtained was 0.4 in the medium criteria and students expressed a positive response to the developed LKPD. It can be concluded that mathematical LKPD developed very well and can improve students' creative mathematical thinking skills. Therefore this LKPD can be used by teachers and students in the learning process in the material to construct curved side spaces so that learning is more effective and obtains better learning outcomes.

Abstract

Metode tanam hidroponik adalah salah satu metode bercocok tanam tanpa menggunakan tanah  tetapi menggunakan air yang mengandung nutrisi yang dibutuhkan tanaman. Dalam metode tanam hidroponik diperlukan pemberian nutrisi pada tanaman secara akurat, oleh karenanya diperlukan suatu sistem untuk mengontrol kondisi tanaman agar dapat tumbuh seperti di tanah diantaranya dengan penggunaan sistem kontrol untuk mengendalikan suhu, kelembaban dan level air. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisis statistika terhadap rata-rata suhu tanaman hidroponik selada keriting hijau (lactuca sativa) berbasis mikrokontroler arduino mega 2560. Hipotesis nol adalah rata-rata suhu tanaman selada sama dengan rata-rata suhu tumbuh selada di tanah yaitu 17,5°C. Dari hasil analisis data penelitian diperoleh rata-rata suhu tanaman selada adalah 17,67°C dengan nilai-p sebesar 0,301 > a = 0,05. Dengan demikian hipotesis nol diterima yang berarti bahwa dengan menggunakan mikrokontroler arduino mega 2560 dalam penelitian ini diperoleh rata-rata suhu tanaman selada keriting hijau, secara statistika sama dengan rata-rata suhu untuk tumbuh di tanah.

Abstract

Evaluation of learning is a crucial step in understanding the progress of students' competence and determining the success of the learning process. This study aims to explain, with reference to the 2013 Curriculum, the experience of teachers conducting evaluations during online learning. This study focused on nine English teachers from nine public schools in Jambi City, including five junior high schools, two high schools, and two vocational high schools. This case study employed an interview instrument which data were then qualitatively analyzed. The findings of this study include teachers' comprehension of learning evaluation, forms of assessment, barriers in the learning process, and the effectiveness of implementing learning evaluation. First, teachers have a comprehensive understanding of learning evaluation, which includes students’ knowledge, skills, and attitudes. However, teachers consider the number of student competencies that must be assessed in online learning to be burdensome, specifically due to limited hour of meeting. The teachers emphasize on delivering the material and decrease the number of competencies that students must acquire. Second, teachers assign daily tasks to assess students' knowledge, video projects to assess their skills, and pay attention to the punctuality of assignment submission and classroom interaction to assess students' attitudes. Third, the obstacles of learning include the absence of gadgets, limited of internet quotas, the difficulty of the internet access, the lack of student participation, and the absence of parental support for online learning. Fourth, the limited abilities of teachers, the difficult conditions of students, and the limited time contribute to the ineffectiveness of the online learning process. In conclusion,  the evaluation of online learning cannot completely reference the curriculum.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the use of instructional media power point-based and emotional intelligence on descriptive writing skill of Junior High School students number eight Muaro Jambi class seven. This is quantitative with quasi-experimental study which was conducted in two classes, class VII D as the experimental class (has treatment) and class VII F as a control class (has no treatment). Overall results of the research showed that there is no effect of the use of instructional media power point-based and emotional intelligence on descriptive writing skill of Junior High School students class seven at 95% level of significant. This is because of three hypotheses proposed; only one hypothesis stated that H1 received. The rest, hypothesis two and three H0 received. The results of hypotheses testing to hypotheses one, two, and three, are: (1) There is an effect of instructional media power point-based on descriptive writing skill of Junior High School students, (2) There is no effect of emotional intelligence on descriptive writing skill of Junior High School students, (3) There is no interaction between instructional media power point-based and emotional intelligence. It is true that the result of hypothesis testing on hypothesis one that there is an effect of instructional media power point-based, but the effect is not significant.Keywords: instructional media, power point -based, emotional intelegence, descriptive writing ability

Abstract

Kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilaksanakan karena kurangnya kemampuan para penutur jati bahasa Indonesia dalam menggunakan bahasanya dengan baik dan benar. Kurangnya kemampuan ini tidak hanya terjadi pada kalangan penutur awam, siswa, atau mahasiswa, tetapi juga pada kalangan pendidik. Kenyataan semacam ini juga terjadi di lingkungan instansi pemerintahan yang seharusnya menjadi pilar utama dalam memberi contoh penggunaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar. Kenyataan tersebut dapat terlihat dari bahasa-bahasa di berbagai ruang media. Para penutur jati tersebut biasanya menganggap apa yang mereka lakukan sudah benar, padahal yang terjadi adalah sebaliknya. Biasanya, mereka berdasar pada standar keumuman dan standar perasaan. Hal ini harus dihindari karena penggunaan bahasa Indonesia memiliki standar yang jelas dan harus dipatuhi demi keseragaman penulisan. Berdasar pada masalah tersebut, kegiatan penyuluhan ini dilaksanakan untuk mengatasi persoalan penggunaan bahasa di media luar ruang. Guru merupakan objek sasaran yang tepat mengingat mereka adalah subjek yang menjadi contoh dan teladan bagi  siswa  dan  masyarakat.  Kegiatan  ini  dilaksanakan  dalam  bentuk pemberian materi, diskusi, praktik, dan penerapan langsung di lapangan sebagai bukti nyata pengutamaan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar. Pada akhirnya, melalui kegiatan pengabdian  ini,  para  objek  sasaran  dapat  meningkatkan  kemampuan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang baik dan benar pada media luar ruang.

Article History: Received: Revised: Accepted: Abstract: The concept of community-based waste management must be accompanied by community empowerment. community empowerment in this case is making the community have the power or power to be able to manage waste so that it becomes something useful and worth selling. Empowerment refers to the ability of people so that they have the ability to meet basic needs, increase income, and to be able to participate in the development process. The purpose of this service is to create a green and clean village packaged in a community service package by the team of lecturers from the Poltekkes Kemenkes Palu. Activity Steps The activity steps carried out are intensive training through the following stages: 1. Lectures on the study of waste management systems. 2. Lectures on managing and processing household waste, especially the 3R method of composting (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). 3. Demonstration on the implementation of the Garbage Bank. 4. Practice segregating waste and applying composter. 5. Consultation in overcoming some of the obstacles faced by participants in household waste management. 6.
