Abstract

The research was aimed to investigate (1) The large percentage of misconceptions before applied contextual approach with macromedia flash simulation in physics learning, (2) The large percentage of misconception after applied contextual approach with macromedia flash simulation in physics learning, (3) The significant difference before and after application contextual approach with simulation macromedia flash in physics learning. The type of research was used pre-experiment research with one-group-pretest-posttest design. Population in this research was all students of eleventh grade students of SMANegeri 1 Sendana. The sample was taken by purposive sampling technique, as many as 24 students. Data collection techniques was used multiple choice tests certainly of rensponse index (CRI). Data analysis techniques was used descriptive and inferential analysis. The results showed that (1) The percentage of misconceptions of learners before application contextual approach with macromedia flash simulation 60,16% with medium category, (2) The percentage of misconception learners after applied contextual approach with macromedia flash simulation 35,16% with very low category, (3) There was significant between misconception result before and after applcation contextual approach with macromedia flash simulation in physics learning. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dampak perkembangan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi terhadap pola interaksi sosial peserta didik di sekolah dan keluarga. Seiring dengan meningkatnya penggunaan teknologi, pola komunikasi dan relasi sosial mengalami perubahan yang signifikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode observasi dan wawancara mendalam terhadap 10 peserta didik di SMP Negeri 10 Pinrang. Observasi dilakukan untuk memahami bagaimana peserta didik berinteraksi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di sekolah dan keluarga, sementara wawancara menggali pengalaman subjektif mereka terkait perubahan interaksi sosial akibat teknologi. Penelitian ini melengkapi studi sebelumnya dengan memberikan perspektif mendalam mengenai dampak sosial dari penggunaan teknologi dalam kehidupan peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi tatap muka semakin berkurang dan tergantikan oleh interaksi digital melalui media sosial serta aplikasi perpesanan seperti WhatsApp. Meskipun teknologi mempermudah akses informasi dan komunikasi jarak jauh, keterlibatan sosial langsung cenderung menurun. Ketergantungan pada media sosial juga berisiko melemahkan hubungan interpersonal dan meningkatkan isolasi sosial. Kesimpulan penelitian ini menekankan pentingnya keseimbangan dalam penggunaan teknologi. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan regulasi dan bimbingan dari keluarga serta sekolah agar peserta didik dapat menggunakan teknologi secara bijak tanpa mengorbankan interaksi sosial langsung. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah perlunya strategi konkret dalam membangun kesadaran peserta didik akan pentingnya interaksi sosial, seperti penerapan kebijakan penggunaan teknologi di sekolah dan kegiatan berbasis interaksi langsung dalam keluarga.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the improvement of scientific literacy in millennial students during physics learning through the implementation of the blended learning model. A quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group was used. The experimental class applied the blended learning model, while the control class used conventional learning methods. Data were collected through scientific literacy tests administered as pretests and posttests, which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics and t-tests to examine the significance of differences between the two groups. The results indicate a significant difference in posttest scientific literacy scores between the experimental and control classes. The average posttest score in the experimental class was higher than that of the control class, suggesting that the blended learning model was more effective in enhancing students' scientific literacy. The t-test yielded a t-count of 2.053, which was greater than the t-table value of 1.996, with a significance level of 0.05. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the blended learning model is more effective in improving the scientific literacy of millennial students, particularly in physics education. Future research could explore further optimization of blended learning implementation to enhance various aspects of scientific literacy.

Abstract

This study explores the extent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) usage among students and its implications for academic ethics, with a specific focus on STKIP DDI Pinrang. Employing a mixed-methods approach, quantitative data were collected through Likert-scale questionnaires distributed to 40 students, while qualitative insights were gathered via interviews with selected respondents. The findings indicate that students’ AI usage is very high (mean score: 4.45), particularly through tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Quillbot. However, their ethical awareness remains moderate, both in terms of understanding academic ethics (3.1562) and awareness of the ethical implications of AI use (3.04). Correlation analysis reveals a negative relationship between the intensity of AI usage and students' ethical perceptions. Thematic analysis of interviews confirms that students tend to use AI as a substitute rather than a support, and lack institutional guidance on its ethical boundaries. These findings highlight a critical gap between technological proficiency and ethical literacy. The study recommends integrating digital ethics education across curricula and establishing clear institutional policies to ensure responsible AI use in academic settings.
