Abstract

Knowledge management is a procedure that assists companies in executing the processes of sorting, identification, arrangement, dissemination, and transfer of information as well as fundamental skills that constitute the competency of the company. The objective of knowledge management is to provide an understanding to all individuals regarding the managerial system. The primary resource that needs to be professionally managed is human resources, aiming to establish a more effective and efficient organizational management system. In an organization or business, each employee can experience the benefits of implementing knowledge management without having to start from scratch. Conversely, they can swiftly acquire such knowledge and enhance their individual competencies as part of leadership values development that will ultimately lead to organizational development. This article constitutes a library study and identifies that knowledge management plays a crucial role in enhancing organizational leadership capacity.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the role of self-leadership in improving students' independence and academic achievement in the campus environment. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various literature related to the concept of self-leadership, its development strategies, and its impact on academic and non-academic aspects. The results of the study indicate that self-leadership contributes positively to students' ability to manage time, set goals, increase motivation, and develop independent learning habits through techniques such as goal setting, self-reward, and positive self-talk. In addition, the development of self-leadership skills has been shown to be an important foundation in forming students' attitudes of responsibility, self-confidence, and resilience in dealing with academic pressure. These skills also have an impact on improving students' achievement and readiness to face future challenges. This study provides recommendations for educational institutions to systematically integrate self-leadership training into the curriculum to support the development of students' character, independence, and career readiness in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji adopsi cloud computing pada Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dengan fokus pada analisis tren, teori, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi adopsi selama periode 2011 hingga 2020. Menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan pustaka sistematis, penelitian ini menganalisis 76 artikel yang dipublikasikan dalam periode tersebut, dengan tujuan untuk memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai teknik analisis data, layanan cloud computing yang banyak diteliti, serta faktor-faktor kunci yang mendorong atau menghambat adopsi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa teknik analisis yang paling sering digunakan adalah Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) dan analisis interpretatif. Layanan cloud computing yang lebih banyak dianalisis adalah Software as a Service (SaaS), sementara faktor utama yang mendorong adopsi adalah penghematan biaya. Penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi bahwa sebagian besar studi tidak didasarkan pada teori yang jelas, dan fokus penelitian lebih banyak dilakukan di kawasan Asia. Temuan ini memberikan wawasan bagi penelitian selanjutnya mengenai pengembangan implementasi cloud computing di UMKM serta faktor-faktor yang perlu diperhatikan dalam mempercepat adopsi teknologi ini di kalangan UMKM global.

Abstract

This qualitative literature review examines the impact of business media on managerial decision-making, resource deployment, and governance structures. It highlights how business media shapes managerial decisions by providing access to external information, market trends, and competitor insights. The review reveals that while business media can enhance decision-making by offering timely and relevant information, it also poses risks such as bias, over-reliance on sensationalized content, and reactive decision-making. Moreover, business media influences resource allocation decisions, often driving innovation but also increasing the risk of misallocation. The study further discusses how media scrutiny affects corporate governance, promoting transparency but potentially leading to governance overreach. The findings underscore the complex role of business media in organizations, emphasizing the need for managers to balance media-driven insights with critical evaluation to ensure sustainable organizational growth.

Abstract

Organizations need an active communication touch to foster community participation. All of these communication activities are an integral part that cannot be separated from an institution or organization. Organizational Communication has an important role in understanding the behavior of each employee, the company pays attention to all aspects that can affect employee performance. Communication within the company has not run optimally, there are many misunderstandings between fellow employees and delays in receiving information resulted in the performance of ICS employees in the first quarter experiencing a decline and can be said to be unsatisfactory. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational communication on the performance of PT Impact Credit Solutions employees. The theory used in this study is the theory of organizational communication according to Pace and Faules and employee performance from Mathis and Jackson. This research is a quantitative research, the method used in order to collect data using a survey, the sampling technique is saturated sampling. The sample studied was 40 people. The analytical method used in this study is statistical analysis and the SPSS program is used for processing. The results showed that there was a moderate influence between organizational communication variables (X) and employee performance variables (Y).

Findings underscore the significance of fostering a culture of transparency, accountability, and ethical awareness within supply chains. Furthermore, the study sheds light on the importance of proactive measures, collaborative approaches, and continuous dialogue in addressing ethical concerns effectively. Abstract

The emergence of remote work as a prevalent mode of employment has brought about significant shifts in team dynamics within organizations. This qualitative analysis delves into the multifaceted effects of remote work on team interactions, communication, cohesion, and productivity. Through in-depth interviews and thematic analysis, this study explores the experiences and perceptions of team members and leaders regarding the challenges and opportunities presented by remote work. Findings reveal nuanced changes in collaboration patterns, the importance of technology in facilitating virtual teamwork, and the necessity for deliberate efforts to maintain social bonds and trust among team members. Moreover, the research underscores the importance of understanding cultural nuances and fostering a culture of adaptability and openness to navigate the complexities of change. The insights gleaned from this study offer valuable implications for practitioners and scholars engaged in change management endeavors, emphasizing the necessity of integrating cultural considerations into change strategies for enhanced organizational effectiveness and resilience.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of capital structure, liquidity, and firm size on the financial performance of transportation and logistics sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2021–2024 period. The research employs a quantitative approach using secondary data obtained from the annual financial reports published on the official IDX website. The analysis was conducted through a series of statistical procedures, including classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, as well as partial and simultaneous significance testing. The partial test results indicate that each of the independent variables—capital structure, liquidity, and firm size—has a significant effect on financial performance. Likewise, the simultaneous test results confirm that these three variables together play an important role in shaping company performance. These findings highlight the importance of maintaining an optimal capital structure that balances debt and equity, sustaining adequate liquidity to meet short-term obligations, and leveraging firm size as a competitive advantage. Proper management of these factors can strengthen financial stability, improve operational efficiency, and ultimately increase profitability. The results of this study provide useful insights for company managers, stakeholders, and investors in making strategic financial decisions within the transportation and logistics sector. Furthermore, the research contributes to the academic literature by reaffirming the critical role of financial management practices in determining firm performance in emerging markets such as Indonesia.

Abstract

The world of youth is a world that is still unstable. This is related to their cognitive and personality conditions which are still in the stage of development. In this situation, teenagers are exposed to massive social media exposure and conditions of intense social interaction with their peer groups. Various social and communication phenomena are present in their daily lives, so they are required to have a good ability to understand them. In fact, many adolescents have a tendency to act asocially due to failure to understand the real situation. Adolescents need to be equipped with the ability to obtain valid data in order to understand their environment. This community service activity was carried out with the aim of providing quantitative communication research literacy for youth. The activity was carried out in mid-2023 at Gita Kirti 3 High School, South Jakarta, with the presence of 72 class XI students. In these activities it was clear that the phenomenon of the youth's instability mentioned above. After understanding the explanation about the basic method of collecting data quantitatively, they are invited to carry out a survey simulation with topics that are appropriate to the daily issues experienced, especially social and communication phenomena. The survey was conducted online and the results were analyzed together. The results of this simple survey are valid data that can be accounted for. Thus, they believe and believe in the data obtained so that there is no longer any doubt about the reality that is happening.
