Abstract

The soundness of the bank is used as a benchmark for bank management to assess whether the management of the bank had was done in line with the sound banking principles and in accordance with applicable regulations. PT.BPR Setia Karib Abadi Semarang is one company that is engaged in banking carries on business as Rural Bank. In the normal course of business of PT. BPR Setia Karib Abadi Semarang experience performing loans which fluctuate each year thereby affecting the company's financial performance and earnings. The purpose of this study to determine the influence of financial performance with CAMEL method to total loans at PT. BPR Setia Karib Abadi Semarang.This type of research is explanatory research. In this study took a sample of 4-year quarterly financial statements of the year 2009 - 2012. Technique analysis data using simple linear regression and multiple regression, with significance testing using the t test and F test with SPSS tools 17.Based on the results of analysis of CAR variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 11.3%. KAP variables did not affect the amount of lending and contributed 0.02%. PPAP variables affect the amount of lending and influence contributed by 52.5%. ROA variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 7.2%. ROA variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 21.2%. LDR variables affect the amount of lending and influence contributed 70.7%. NPL variable does not affect the amount of lending and give a contribution of 0.03%. Overall financial performance of the variable does not affect the amount of lending. Conclusions and Suggestions for the company. Financial performance PT. BPR Setia Karib Abadi in healthy condition in rate of the years and have strange influence to total loans.Company mus be order to always strive to maintain the condition of its financial performance and careful - cautious in lending to bank soundness is maintained with a healthy category. Because PPAP and LDR influence on lending.

Abstract

work environment and internal communication are contributing factors to the achievement of high employee job satisfaction. This study aims to determine whether there is influence between internal communications and work environment on job satisfaction of employees. Type of research is explanatory research that describes the relationship between the variables of the study. Population are all employees of PT. Kambing Rejeki Agung Semarang , amounting to 61 people. Number of samples in this study amounted to 61 people.. Based on the results of tests with SPSS between work environment (X1) on employee job satisfaction (Y), obtained by counting the number of t 7,253 > 1.670 t-table that has a positive effect (to the right), so using one-tail hypothesis; means H0 rejected,so that the partial (individual) there is a significant and positive influence of work environment (X1) on employee job satisfaction (Y). Test results with SPSS between internal communication (X2) of the employee satisfaction (Y), obtained by counting the number of t 22,387 > 1.670 t-table which has a positive effect (to the right), so using one-tail hypothesis; means H0 rejected, so partial (people) are significantly and positively influence the work environment (X2) for employee job satisfaction (Y). While the results of tests with SPSS between work environment (X1) and internal communication (X2) on job satisfaction of employees (Y), obtained by counting the number of F-28.852> F-table 3.13 that has a positive effect (to the right), so using hepotesa one tail

Abstract

Based on Gross Domestic Product in the year of 2007 insurance sector only show  1,88% compared with the other banking sector which reach  2,67% in the same year. That explanation indicates that public’s attention regarding to insurance issue is still limited. This condition demands company to adapt in global competition through human resources management. The management of human resources which are being referred to  is factors that influnce  job performance of the employee as a part of  company asset. It refers to motivation, career development, and job satisfication. The main problem in this research is about target that is never reached in 2010-2013  with provision of the  minimum point is 100%. The objective in this research is to find out the influence of motivation and career development on job performance through job satisfication at AJB Bumiputera 1912 Semarang Metro District.This type of research  is explanatory research. The population on this research are  employees of AJB Bumiputera 1912  Semarang Metro District and the number of sample are  97 respondents. The technique of sampling used is proportionate random sampling. Analysis method  used are correlation coefficient test, determination coefficient test, simple regression analysis, multiple regression analysis, t test, F test and path analysis with SPSS Program version 16.The result from path analysis is motivation and career development have bigger effect to job performance, if it’s through to job satification. It shows that if the employees’ motivation is getting higher and career development which is also getting better along with job satisfication that is also high,  it will increase the job performance from the employees. Suggestion for AJB Bumiputera 1912 Semarang Metro district are related to socialization about reward system at the company and evaluation about standard operational procedure that should be suitable with the current situation for increasing the independence and as a motivation  for the employees in order to do optimal work and give satisfied result.

Abstract

The car is a land transportation that loved by many people. Like Indonesia whichgrow in crowded people causes Indonesia’s families choose car as their main transportation,mainly Low MPV. One of popular automotive industry is Honda. Honda produce Low MPV,named Mobilio. Since launched at January 2014, Mobilio can get the second position of LowMPV, which it below Toyota Avanza.This research aim is to find the influence of brand image, product quality, price andbrand awareness to buying decision of Honda Mobilio. This research is include inexplanatory and using 96 respondent as research sample from Mobilio’s consument inSemarang. The sample was taken by using nonprobability sampling and purposive sampling.Data were collected using questioner and was analyzed using simple linear regression,multiple linear regression, correlation coefficient, determination coefficient, t test and F test.The questioner was tested by using validity and reliability test.The result of this research showed that there positive impact and significant betweenbrand image, product quality, price and brand awareness towards buying decision of HondaMobilio in Semarang either partially or simultaneously. The variable brand image is thegreatest effect on buying decision of Honda Mobilio in Semarang than product quality, priceand brand awareness. Base on the result of this research, it can be concluded that there isinfluence of brand image, product quality, price and brand awareness to buying decision ofHonda Mobilio. It means that improving brand image, product quality, price and brandawareness can also increasing buying decision of Honda Mobilio.Advice can be given for Honda and the need to increase product quality be done byrepairing and doing inovation, also increase brand awareness be done by intensive promotionso buying decision of Mobilio will be increase.

Abstract

Work stress is a response from a person, both physically and mentally to a change in the environment that is felt disturbing and resulted in his being threatened. Every aspect at work can be a stressor. Stressful conditions can cause health problems or make existing problems become more severe. Stress is caused by a trigger or stimulus, called stressors, stressors can come from ourselves or from outside ourselvesThe sampling technique used is Probability Sampling and the sampling type used is Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling. Sample in this research is 62 respondents consisting of employees of PT. Manunggal Daya Salatiga Weaving Department AJL II. Data analysis using analysis quantitative with validity and reliability , simple regression analysis, double regression analysis, t test and f test with program spss 18.0 for windows.The results of research shows that there is a positive effect and significant between the workload to work stress amount 79,5%, the work environtment have positive effect and significant to work stress amount 68,5% and the controlling have positive effect and significant to work stress amount 71%Advice can be given in this research are the company must keep existing stressor so that employees rarely or never experience stress. Companies can increase the quantity of the workload but must pay attention to whether it becomes overloaded workload for employees. Besides keeping the stress caused by the work environment and poor controlling.

Abstract

One of the investor’s aims in investing on emiten is to get a return. To get a stock’s return, the loss risks cannot be denied, and it is affected by the stock’s price fluctuation that is cannot be determined. However, as the stocks exchange is rapidly developed, it does not mean that the risk limit cannot be decreased. The technical and fundamental analysis have become a solution for the investor to predict the stocks’ price. Specifically, this research discusses about the fundamental analysis by appraising the companies’ performance which is depicted on the companies’ financial report with ratio as a tool to analyze the financial report. By using the financial ratio, it can be seen and it can be an image for the investors about the good and bad images of the companies’ condition, so that it would be a basis for the investors for choosing the companies that have a higher return level than the loss risks. The aim of this research are too understand the influences of Return On Assets (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), Earning Per Share (EPS), and Price Earning Ratio (PER) toward Stock’s Return. The population in this research is the companies that are listed on the sub-sectored stocks in property and real estate during the period of 2012-2016. There are 22 companies that are matched with the following criteria as the research’s sample. The quantitative analysis use the classic assumptions’ test, coefficient correlation determination coefficient, simple regression, double regression, and significances test (uji t and F). The result from this research shows that Return on Assets (ROA) affects the stock’s return. Return on Equity (RO) affects the stock’s return. Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) is not affected the stock’s return. Earning Per Share (EPS) affects the stock’s return. Price Earning Ration (PER) affects the stock’s return. The dependent variable simultaneously influence the stock’s return. As a suggestion, there will be better if a company make a decision to efficient the budget in order to improve the profits, identify and group the assets that either have a potential or not which are used to support the companies’ operational procedure and to optimize the modal’s using.

Abstract

Human resources becomesone of the factors that encourages the creationo the company’s competitive advantages over competitors. The purpose of this research is to find out the influence of training and incentive toward employee’s performance of marketing divison PT. Nasmoco Gombel Semarang. Type of this research is explanatory research. Number of samples taken are 30 respondents with census method or examine the whole population. Collecting data using questionnaires. Hypothesis testing using statistical analysis includes correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, t-test and F test. Result of this study showed that the training had an influence on the employee’s  performance by 58,3% and incentive had an influence on the employee’s performance by 58,4%. Then training and incentive together have a significant influence on the employee’s performance by 64,4%.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the factors that affect bond ratings on banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Where the suspected factors that affect the bond rating are firm growth, firm size (size), the company's liquidity, secure, maturity, and the auditor's reputation. The study is included in the explanatory type. The sampling technique used purposive sampling techniques, the sample amounted to 10 banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The method of analysis used in this study is the factor analysis and logistic regression analysis. The factor analysis result shows that growth, size, liquidity, and auditor reputation are factors that affect on bond ratings. Secure and maturity are not included in these factors due to the value of MSA are not qualified testing. The logistic regression result shows that size affect on bond ratings. It means that size can make the bank bond ratings turn into good or bad. While the growth, liquidity, and auditor reputation has no effect to bank bond ratings. It means that the level of these variables have no impact on banks bond ratings.

Abstract

The Compensation, standard of work and working environment is a supporting factor for achieve the high performance of employees in order to get optimal business profits. If the company has a good compensation, standard of work  and working environment, then the high employee performance can be achieved. The problems of this research are still there employees who violate standard of work, there are employees who have bad habits in work, and employee performance which shows the numbers fluctuate and tend to decline. Technique of collecting data using questionnaires distributed to 50 employees as the population in this study using census method sales of PT. Nasmoco Kaligawe Semarang. The Data were analyzed with quantitative analysis using validity, reliability test, the coefficient of determination, simple linear regression, multiple linear regression, T test and F test with SPSS. The conclusion of this analysis study is the 48 % of respondents said the compensation is fair, 48 % of respondents said the standard of work is quite good, 46 % of respondents said the working environment in both categories and 28 % of the respondents have a high employee performance. Variable compensation, standards of work, and the work environment has an influence on employee performance variables partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

Bank as financial institution that serves as financial intermediary, necessary grades of healthy for know bank condition. Health or not a bank can see from bank financial performance. The ratio of financial analysis the content in financial performance a bank beneficial to do a prediction agains the provision of credits the future. With a good performance, the bank can do one of the main function is to give and distribute the credit to debitor. The troubles in this research is the presence of dissent from the result of further researches first and the phenomenon of bank lending has not been optimal. The research aims to find the empirical facts of the influence of financial performance with CAEL method to credit loan.The research belongs to “explanatory research”. Analytical method used in this research is a simple regression test to the test partially the significance test using t test and regression test to simultaneously test for the significance test using the F test. Object in this research is a national private commercial banks foreign exchange 2010-2012. Number of samples used were 21 bank in the sample.Result and discussion indicate from partial test show the CAR and NPL variables have negative influence and significance to the credit distribution. ROE variable has positive influence and significance to the credit distribution. For ROA and LDR variables does not influence to the credit distribution. While based on the results of simultaneous hypothesis tests (F test) showen that the CAR, NPL, ROA, ROE and LDR has a significant influence on the credit distribution. The result of coefficient determinated is 0,337. This suggests that the major influence of the independent variable is CAR, NPL, ROA, ROE and LDR of the dependent variable (credit distribution) of 33,7%, while the remaining 66,3% can be explained by other variables outside this model.Suggestion that can be conveyed based on the result analysis indicated that the management of the bank necessary attention to CAR and NPL. Because both the ratio of the bank financial is variable the most dominan in effecting a decrease in credit distribution. It is a need to study further about factor influence to credit distribution, from internal or external factors a bank.
