Abstract

This research discusses the role of tallyman in supporting the smooth loading and unloading activities at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. The main problem in this study is to determine the role of tallyman in supporting the smooth running of loading and unloading activities at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang and and how influential the role of tallyman is in supporting the smooth running of loading and unloading activities at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the tallyman in supporting the smooth loading and unloading activities at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang and to determine the effect of the role of the tallyman in supporting the smooth running of loading and unloading activities at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang. This type of research is causal associative with a quantitative approach. The data collection method consists of three ways, namely: observation, questionnaires, documentation. The samples in this study were employees of 2 loading and unloading companies and a company using tallyman services operating at the port of Tanjung Emas Semarang with a total sample of 51 respondents. The instrument validation test was carried out by using correlation techniques (statistical product and service solutions and the instrument reliability test using Alpha Crombach which was calculated using SPSS version 19. The test results with SPSS 19 obtained that the regression coefficient value has a positive direction and the value of t count = 11.480 with a significance level of 0.000. By using a significance limit of 0.05, the significance value is 0.000, 0.05. Meanwhile, from the results of statistical calculations using SPSS 19, the Adjustered R2 value is 0.723.This means that 72.3% of the smooth loading and unloading activities can be affected by tallyman while the rest amounted to 27.7% influenced by other factors.

Abstract

Community Service is an obligation for lecturers to carry out the Tridharma of Higher Education. The activity was carried out on June 18, 2022 in Jelamung RT 05 RW 02, Kemujan Karimujawa which was attended by 12 participants. The purpose of this service is to know how to maintain fishing boat outboard engines in general, which is used to change the engine oil, cleaning the air filter and fuel filter, testing the injectors and adjusting the valves, in addition it is to know the reason why the engine cannot start. Therefore, someone should check the fuel flow, opening the fuel filter and cleaning it. The implementation of this program is for fishermen’s beneficial, hance they can maintain and overcome engine damage for the sake of progress and increase the income.

Abstract

Manganese ferrite (Mn ferrite) telah berhasil disintesis dengan metode kopresipitasi pada suhu 60 ℃. Mn ferrite disintesis dari pasir besi sebagai prekusornya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mensintesis Mn ferrite dari pasir besi dan menganalisis gugus fungsi serta morfologinya. Sampel dibuat dengan memvariasikan NaOH yaitu 3 M, 6 M dan 9 M. Struktur kristal, gugus fungsi dan morfologi dikarakterisasi dengan X-ray Difractometer (XRD), Fourier Transform Infra Red (FTIR), dan Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM). Hasil spektra FTIR mengkonfirmasi adanya gugus fungsi metal-oxide (M-O) pada kisi tetrahedral dan oktahedral pada bilangan gelombang masing-masing 462 cm-1 dan 578 cm-1. Hal ini diidetifikasi sebagai gugus Mn-O dan Fe-O sekaligus mengkonfirmasi pembentukan struktur spinel. Pengamatan morfologi menunjukkan bahwa sampel terlihat mengalami aglomerasi karena adanya interaksi magnetik. Hasil pengamatan ukuran partikel berada pada kisaran 30 – 50 nm yang diukur menggunakan software Image-J. Ukuran butir terlihat lebih besar dibandingkan hasil perhitungan ukuran kristalit berdasarkan data XRD karena sampel mengalami aglomerasi sehingga beberapa butir menggumpal menjadi satu dan terlihat seperti satu partikel.Kata kunci: Mn-ferrite, gugus fungsi, morfologi, ukuran partikel

Abstract

Pengenalan teknologi otonom (autonomous technology) telah membawa dampak besar dalam berbagai bidang, termasuk industri perkapalan. Dalam hal ini, kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk menyelenggarakan kegiatan edukasi tentang konsep dan manfaat kapal otonom kepada siswa-siswa SMA 14 Semarang. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dalam bentuk webinar yang menghadirkan tenaga ahli seperti dosen dan atau praktisi di bidang kapal otonom (autonomous vessel) otonom sebagai pembicara. Peserta diberikan kesempatan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang teknologi otonom (autonomous technology) dan mengajukan pertanyaan terkait topik ini. Hasil dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat mempersiapkan siswa untuk menghadapi masa depan yang semakin terhubung dengan teknologi.
