Abstract

SariPeningkatan produksi cabai (Capsicum sp.) dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan diversifikasi jenis baru dari hasil persilangan antar spesies. Tujuan penelitian ialah untuk mempelajari kompatibilitas pada penyerbukan sendiri dan penyerbukan silang buatan interspesies. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada Januari 2020 – Juni 2020. Bahan yang digunakan ialah 4 spesies cabai. Persilangan disusun berdasarkan rancangan perkawinan dialil lengkap. Terdapat 16 kombinasi persilangan. Perbedaan karakter kuantitatif penyerbukan sendiri dan silang diuji menggunakan uji t 5%. Penyerbukan sendiri pada setiap spesies memiliki kompatibilitas penuh dengan persentase pembentukan buah yaitu 100%. Persilangan antara C. annuum Cann(B)-CYM2-151-3 x C. baccatum Cbac-09(S), C. frutescens Cfru-03(4) x C. annuum Cann(B)-CYM2-151-3 dan C. frutescens Cfru-03(4) x C. baccatum Cbac-09(S) memiliki kompatibilitas penuh dengan persentase 65%, 50% dan 85%. Persilangan antara C. annuum Cann(B)-CYM2-151-3 x C. frutescens Cfru-03(4), C. frutescens Cfru-03(4) x C. chinense (Cchi-01) memiliki kompatibilitas sebagian dengan persentase sebesar 48% dan 46%. Inkompatibilitas terjadi pada persilangan C. annuum (Cann(B)-CYM2-151-3) x C. chinense (Cchi-01), C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S)) x C. annuum (Cann(B)-CYM2-151-3), C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S)) x C. frutescens (Cfru-03(4), C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S)) x C. chinense (Cchi-01), C. chinense (Cchi-01) x C. annuum (Cann(B)-CYM2-151-3), C. chinense (Cchi-01) x C. frutescens (Cfru-03(4)), C. chinense (Cchi-01) x C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S)).Kata Kunci: C. annuum , C. baccatum, C. chinense, C. frutescens, persilangan. AbstractProduction of chili (Capsicum sp.) can be increased by diversifying new types of crosses between species. The research objective was to study the compatibility of self-pollination and cross-pollination between species. This research was conducted in Januari 2020 – Juni 2020. The materials were included 4 species of C. annuum sp. Crossing of 4 species Capsicum sp. using a dialel design. All selfing of each species showed that percentage of fruit set was 100%. Crosses of C. annuum (Cann (B)-CYM2-151-3) x C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S)), C. frutescens (Cfru-03(4)) x C. annuum (Cann (B)-CYM2-151-3) and C. frutescens (Cfru-03(4)) x C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S)) had full compatibility with percentages of 65%, 50%, and 85%, respectively. Crosses between C. annuum (Cann(B)-CYM2-151-3) x C. frutescens (Cfru-03(4)), C. frutescens (Cfru-03(4)) x C. chinense (Cchi-01) had partial compatibility with a percentage of 48% and 46%. Incompatibilities occured in C. annuum (Cann (B)-CYM2-151-3) x C. chinense (Cchi-01), C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S)) x C. annuum (Cann(B)-CYM2-151-3), C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S)) x C. frutescens (Cfru-03(4)), C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S) x C. chinense (Cchi-01), C. chinense (Cchi-01) x C. annuum (Cann(B)-CYM2-151-3), C. chinense (Cchi-01) x C. frutescens (Cfru-03(4)), C. chinense (Cchi-01) x C. baccatum (Cbac-09(S)).Keywords: C. annuum, C. baccatum, C. frutescens, C. chinense, hybridization.

Abstract

AbstrakErcis (Pisum sativum L.) ialah salah satu tanaman dari famili Fabaceae dan tergolong tanaman legume yang memiliki nilai ekonomi cukup tinggi. Studi pemuliaan tanaman pada ercis ditujukan untuk mendapat hasil yang optimal di berbagai wilayah penanaman, salah satunya dataran rendah. Keberhasilan program seleksi memerlukan parameter genetik seperti keragaman genetik dan heritabilitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keragaman genetik dan heritabilitas karakter 82 genotipe ercis dan menentukan genotipe yang berpotensi dikembangkan di dataran rendah. Percobaan dilaksanakan berdasarkan rancangan augmented design dengan 82 genotipe uji dan tiga pembanding (cek). Karakter yang memiliki keragaman luas dan heritabilitas tinggi terdapat pada karakter bobot brangkasan daun, bobot brangkasan batang, bobot polong kering per tanaman, dan bobot biji kering per tanaman. Genotipe-genotipe yang terseleksi di dataran rendah berdasarkan karakter bobot polong kering per tanaman dan bobot biji kering per tanaman ialah 03(16)(2)-1, Batu-1-1 dan Batu-2.Kata Kunci: Ercis, keragaman genetik, heritabilitas, seleksi, dataran rendah AbstractPea (Pisum sativum L.) is one of plants from Fabaceae family and belongs to legume crop that have high economic value. Plant breeding studies on pea are intended to obtain optimal yield in various cultivation areas, one of which is in lowland. The success of selection program requires genetic parameters such as genetic variability and heritability. The purpose of this study was to know the genetic variability and heritability of 82 pea genotypes and select the genotypes to be developed in lowland. The experiment was conducted based on the augmented design with 82 pea genotypes tested and three checks. The characters that have wide variability and high value of heritability were found in characteristics of weight of dry leaves, weight of dry stem, dry pods per plant weight and dry seeds per plant weight. The selected pea genotypes in lowland based on characteristics of dry pods per plant weight and dry seeds per plant weight were 03(16)(2)-1, Batu-1-1 and Batu-2.Keywords: Pea, genetic variability, heritability, selection, lowland

Abstract

AbstrakKacang Bogor (Vigna subterranea (L.) Verdcourt) potensial dikembangkan sebagai komoditi pangan rendah lemak. Pengembangan dan peningkatan hasil komoditas ini dapat dilakukan melalui penyediaan varietas unggul. Tujuan penelitian ini ialah untuk mengetahui stabilitas dan adaptabilitas hasil enam galur harapan kacang Bogor, yaitu GSG 2.1.1, GSG 2.5, GSG 1.5, CCC 1.4.1, PWBG 5.3.1, dan BBL 6.1.1.  Penelitian dilakukan di tiga lokasi yang memiliki karakteristik ketinggian tempat, kondisi lahan, dan musim tanam berbeda. Percobaan menggunakan rancangan acak kelompok dengan tiga ulangan yang dilanjutkan dengan analisis varians gabungan. Analisis regresi digunakan untuk menentukan stabilitas dan adaptabilitas hasil berdasarkan Eberhart-Russell dan Finlay-Wilkinson. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat interaksi genotipe x lingkungan pada bobot hasil panen polong segar dan bobot hasil biji kering. Galur GSG 2.5 dan CCC 1.4.1 mempunyai hasil polong segar dengan  rata-rata 15,50 t ha-1 dan 15,71 t ha-1 dan hasil biji kering dengan rata-rata 4,58 t ha-1 dan 4,57 t.ha-1 yang stabil dan beradaptasi luas. Galur GSG 1.5 dan BBL 6.1.1 merupakan galur yang mempunyai potensi hasil tinggi untuk polong segar dengan rata-rata 17,16 t ha-1 dan 18,90 t.ha-1 pada lingkungan yang produktif.Kata Kunci: interaksi G x E, kacang Bogor, pemuliaan tanaman, stabilitas hasil, uji adaptasi Abstract The bambara groundnut (Vigna subterranea (L.) Verdcourt) has the potential to become a low-fat food commodity. The development and improvement of this commodity yield can be accomplished through the introduction of superior varieties. The purpose of this study were to investigate the yield stability and adaptation of six potential Bambara groundnut lines, namely GSG 2.1.1, GSG 2.5, GSG 1.5, CCC 1.4.1, PWBG 5.3.1, and BBL 6.1.1. The study was carried out in three different locations with varying altitude, land type, and growing season. A randomized block design with three replications was implemented in the experiment, which was then followed by a combined analysis of variance. Regression analysis was used to determine the stability and adaptation of yield based on Eberhart-Russell and Finlay-Wilkinson. The results revealed that there was an interaction between genotypes and environments on yield of fresh pods weight and yield of dried seeds weight. Lines of GSG 2.5 and CCC 1.4.1 had fresh pod yields with an average of 15.50 t ha-1 and 15.71 t ha-1 and dry seed yields an average of 4.58 t ha-1 and 4.57 t  ha-1 which is stable and wide adaptations. In an ideal environment, the GSG 1.5 and BBL 6.1.1 lines had high yield potential for fresh pods, with an average of 17.16 t ha-1 and 18.90 t ha-1.Keywords:  adaptation test, Bambara groundnut, G x E interaction, plant breeding, yield stability
