Abstract

This study aims to map the Pinogu District area as an isolated and difficult to reach area. Identifying the economic potential of Pinogu Subdistrict to increase significant economic growth. Pinogu Subdistrict, which has five villages with an area of 405.96, is an economic area that has the potential for commodities to develop, especially agricultural commodities, plantations and fruits. Based on the results of the analysis, it shows that the leading commodities for the development of rural areas are rice, plantation products, and coffee. The various leading commodities are spread across five villages in Pinogu District. The economic growth of Pinogu District is classified as very slow to grow, this is due to the high cost economy which causes the economic turnover to be very slow. Based on the results of the analysis, the cause of this is because transportation access to enter and exit goods and people in the Pinogu area is very difficult because the only transportation owned in this region is two-wheeled (motorbikes/motorcycle taxis).

Abstract

The potential of an area is important to identify, especially potentials that have cooperative and competitive advantages to encourage economic growth. This study aims to analyze the potential of agricultural commodity-based areas in Bone Bolango Regency. The approach taken to conduct research using a qualitative approach. The data source used is the time series data of Brutto Regional Domestic Products for the last five years (2017-2021). The results of the study concluded that the development of agricultural commodity-based areas has not been maximized to encourage the growth and development of the Bone Bolango Regency area in the 2017-2021 period. Based on the analysis using the Location Question (LQ) shows that on average in the period 2017-2021 the LQ value of the agricultural sector is less than one (0.95). This value means that the commodity of agricultural products consisting of the food crop sub-sector, the fishery sub-sector, the plantation sub-sector, and the forestry sub-sector is not yet a base commodity, and is only categorized as a non-base sector

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the challenges faced by Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in increasing sales, viewed from the aspects of digital marketing, capital, and business management. The research method used is a qualitative descriptive approach, focusing on an in-depth understanding of the actual conditions experienced by MSME actors. The results of the study indicate that the main constraints include: (1) a lack of understanding and skills in digital marketing and the use of marketplaces; (2) limitations in capital structure, which still largely rely on personal funds; and (3) business management that is not yet well-organized, including task division and human resource management that have not been optimized. These findings serve as a basis for formulating more effective business development strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine community participation in the preparation of the Village Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMDes) in Ilomangga Village, Tabongo District, Gorontalo Regency, and to identify the obstacles faced by the village government. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with interviews as the main research instrument involving informants relevant to the research problem. The findings show that community participation in the preparation process of the RPJMDes remains low and has not been optimal. Community participation is mostly represented through the Village Consultative Body (BPD), particularly through the active involvement of BPD members in village development planning. Viewed from the aspects of voice, access, and control, the wider community has not been directly involved in the overall planning process. Therefore, a more open, gradual, and participatory aspiration-gathering mechanism is needed.
