Abstract

This research aims to develop students’ worksheet-based on PBL and test its effectiveness toward students’  mathematical communication skills and self confidence of class VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. This research procedure uses the procedure by Tessmer, namely preliminary phase and formative evaluation phase which includes self evaluation, prototyping (expert reviews, one-to-one, small group) and field test. The data was obtained through mathematical communication test and self confidence scale. The results of the expert reviews show that students’ worksheet-based on PBL has met the feasibility standards of content, media and language in very good category. the result of the one-to-one and small group show very good category. The results of data analysis in the field test showed that the student mathematical communication skill and self confidence in the experimental class is higher than the control class. It can be concluded that students’ worksheet-based on PBL is effective to improve the students’ mathematical communication and self confidence.Penelitian pengembangan bertujuan mengembangkan LKPD berbasis PBL dan menguji keefektifannya terhadap kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self confidence peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Negeri 8 Bandar Lampung. Prosedur penelitian ini menggunakan prosedur Tessmer, yaitu tahap preliminary dan formative evaluation yang meliputi self evaluation, prototyping (expert reviews, one-to-one, small group) dan field test. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui tes komunikasi matematis dan skala self confidence. Hasil expert reviews menunjukkan bahwa LKPD berbasis PBL  memenuhi standar kelayakan isi, media dan bahasa yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil one-to-one dan small group termasuk dalam kategori sangat baik. Hasil analisis data field test menunjukkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self confidence peserta didik kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari kelas kontrol. Sehingga disimpulkan LKPD berbasis PBL efektif meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self confidence peserta didik.Kata kunci : LKPD, PBL, komunikasi matematis, self confidence

Abstract

This research is a development research that aims to find out how the development of LKPD based on CTL to improve the ability of mathematical communication and student self-efficacy. This research started from preliminary study, preparation of LKPD, LKPD validation, initial field test, and field test. The subjects of this study are students of class VII-A and VII-C SMP Negeri 1 Abung Tinggi Lesson Year 2016/2017. Preliminary study results indicate the need for the development of LKPD-based CTL approach. The preparation of LKPD begins with drafting the LKPD and all its components based on the guideline for the preparation of LKPD. Validation results indicate that LKPD has met the content and design feasibility standards. Field test results indicate that LKPD is included in either category. The result of field test shows that the improvement of students' mathematical communication ability following learning using LKPD based on CTL is higher than conventional learning and Student Self-Efficiency in both classes tended to not increase.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan yang bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana hasil pengembangan LKPD berbasis CTL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi matematis dan self-efficacy siswa. Penelitian diawali dengan studi pendahuluan, penyusunan LKPD, validasi LKPD, uji coba lapangan awal, dan uji lapangan. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII-A dan VII-C SMP Negeri 1 Abung Tinggi Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Hasil studi pendahuluan menunjukkan adanya kebutuhan pengembangan LKPD berbasis pendekatan CTL. Penyusunan LKPD diawali dengan menyusun draft dan semua komponennya berdasarkan panduan penyusunan LKPD. Hasil validasi menunjukkan LKPD telah memenuhi standar kelayakan isi dan desain. Hasil uji coba lapangan menunjukkan LKPD termasuk dalam kategori baik. Hasil uji lapangan menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kemampuan komunikasi matematis siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran menggunakan LKPD berbasis CTL lebih tinggi dari pada pembelajaran konvensional dan Self-Efficacy siswa pada kedua kelas cenderung tidak mengalami peningkatan.Kata kunci : LKPD, CTL, Self-Efficacy

Abstract

This study aims to produce and determine the effectiveness of the use of student worksheets in improving students' mathematical argumentation skills, with concepts of form and concurrency. The population in this study is the students of class IX SMP Negeri 2 Semaka years of teaching 2017-2018, as a sample class IX.A and IXB. The research design used is non equivalent control group design.  Effectiveness was measured by n-Gain test results analyzed by t-test, student responses to students' worksheets and learning execution. The results showed that the use of student worksheets was quite effective in improving students' mathematical argumentation skills, as evidenced by n-Gain experimental class (0.64) higher and significantly different from control class (0.21). The result of the test of the work sheet of the learners by the teachers 90.00% (very good), and the percentage of learning implementation by students (96.83%) with the criteria of "well done"Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan dan mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan lembar kerja peserta didik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan argumentasi matematika siswa, dengan konsep kesebangunan dan kekongruenan. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IX SMP Negeri 2 Semaka Tahun Ajaran 2017-2018, sebagai sampel kelas IX.A dan IXB. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah non equivalent control group design.   Efektivitas diukur berdasarkan n-Gain hasil tes yang dianalisis dengan uji-t, respon siswa terhadap lembar kerja siswa dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan lembar kerja siswa cukup efektif meningkatkan kemampuan argumenntasi matematika siswa, yang dibuktikan dengan n-Gain kelas eksperimen (0,64) lebih tinggi dan berbeda nyata dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol (0,21).  Hasil uji keterlaksanaan lembar kerja peserta didik oleh guru 90,00% (sangat baik), serta persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran  oleh siswa (96,83%) dengan kriteria “terlaksana dengan baik”Kata kunci:  LKS, poe, kemampuan argumentasi

Abstract

Development of Teaching Material Based Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM) to Improve Ability to Understand Mathematical Concept and Beliefs of Students. This study aimed to develop teaching materials based on ATM and test the effectiveness of teaching materials that improve the ability to understand mathematical concepts and beliefs of students. The research design of development follows Akker flow through preliminary stage and formative evaluation stage. The subject of this research is the seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Metro Lampung. The research data was obtained by the ability test of mathematical concept and student beliefs questionnaire. The result of the research is the ability of understanding mathematical concepts and beliefs of students eksperimen class is higher than control class. The conclusion of this research that the teaching materials meet the valid criteria and the development of teaching materials based on ATM effectively improve the ability of understanding mathematical concepts. However, the development of teaching materials based on ATMs is less effective to improve student beliefs.Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar berbasis ATM dan menguji efektivitas bahan ajar yang meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan beliefs siswa. Desain penelitian pengembangan mengikuti alur Akker melalui tahap preliminary dan tahap formative evaluation. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 7 SMPN 1 Metro Lampung. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan tes kemampuan konsep matematika dan angket beliefs siswa. Hasil penelitian adalah kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis dan belief siswa kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelas kontrol. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu bahan ajar memenuhi kriteria valid dan pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis ATM efektif meningkatkan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis. Namun, pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis ATM kurang efektif untuk meningkatkan beliefs siswa. pengembangan bahan ajar berbasis ATM kurang efektif untuk meningkatkan beliefs siswa.Kata kunci: Alqurun Teaching Model (ATM), pemahaman konsep matematis, beliefs siswa.

Abstract

This development research aims to (1) produce mathematics teaching materials for junior high school based on ALQURUN Teaching Model (ATM), (2) to know the effectiveness of the application it on comparative session concepts. This research design used 2 main stages that is preliminary (preliminary studies and instructional materials designing) and formative test (self-evaluation, expert testing, one to one, small group testing, and limited testing). The subject of this development research is the students grade VIII of Public Junior High School 4 Pringsewu Lesson Year 2016/2017. The research data is obtained through observation, interview, expert validation test and student's comprehension ability test of math concept. Data analysis uses the t-test and the effectiveness of N-Gain. The results showed that (1) ATM-based teaching materials for junior high school were classified as excellent (2) the implementation of teaching materials products were classified as quite effective.Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan produk berupa bahan ajar matematika SMP berbasis ALQURUN Teaching Model (ATM), (2) mengetahui efektivitas penerapan produk bahan ajar pada konsep materi perbandingan. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan 2 tahapan utama yaitu preliminary (studi pendahuluan dan pendesainan bahan ajar) dan uji formatif (evaluasi diri, uji ahli, uji perorangan, uji kelompok kecil, dan uji terbatas). Subjek penelitian pengembangan ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas VIII SMP Negeri 4 Pringsewu Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017. Data penelitian diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, uji validasi ahli dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematika siswa. Analisis data menggunakan uji-t dan keefektivan N-Gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) produk bahan ajar matematika SMP berbasis tergolong sangat baik (2) implementasi produk bahan ajar tersebut tergolong kategori cukup efektif.Kata kunci: pemahaman konsep, bahan ajar, ATM.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze aspects of the psychological basic needs of students. The research sample is a student population of the Department of Education of 230 students, consisting of four study programs, namely PGSD, PGPAUD, Penjas, and Guidance and Counseling. The research instrument used is the Adolescent Students' Basic Psychological Needs at School Scale (ASBPNSS). The results of the Anacova test on aspects of independence, interrelationship, and competence towards the fulfillment of basic psychological needs in students are F = 45.17 (0.05). Thus, it can be concluded that the variables of competence, interconnectedness, and independence are all congruent. All three have a significant relationship to the fulfillment of basic psychological needs of students.

Abstract

This research investigates the efficacy of a counseling model that utilizes traditional games to increase self-efficacy in elementary school children. Using a developmental approach rooted in the Borg and Gall model, this research develops a counseling framework that centers on traditional games as an interactive medium for client involvement. Specifically, this research pioneers the exploration of traditional play-based counseling interventions specifically designed to improve children's self-efficacy; an area hitherto unexplored in the literature. Traditional play, chosen for its inherent capacity to facilitate emotional expression and character development in children, serves as an appropriate channel for therapeutic interaction. Through rigorous testing and data analysis, the efficacy of the developed counseling model was confirmed, proven by its high validity and practical usefulness. The results show the effectiveness of the model in increasing the level of self-efficacy in all dimensions so that this model is declared worthy as an intervention strategy because it is easy to access, culturally appropriate, and age-appropriate for elementary school children.
