Abstract

Keselamata penerbangan ditentukan oleh berbagai faktor yang terkait dengan faktor manusia, baik saat preflight dan in-flight service. Cargo Handling merupakan salah satu faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kecelakaan pesawat di udara. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendapatkan profil Budaya Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (K3) dan menentukan faktor-faktor yang membentuk budaya tersebut pada level organisasi, kelompok dan individual serta lingkungan fisik. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 110 orang pekerja di gudang kargo Bandara Soekarno Hatta dengan sampel 53 orang melalui teknik simple random sampling. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa nilai dari Budaya Kesehatan dan Keselamatan Kerja dari para pekerja kargo di gudang berada di atas index average 5.0 . Hal ini berarti bahwa secara umum masing-masing pekerja berada pada level nilai K3 yang moderat. Sedangkan hasil analisis faktor telah mengurangi 19 faktor menjadi 11 faktor yang mempengaruhi buda

Abstract

Manajemen angkutan Lebaran atau Idul Fitri selalu dihadapkan pada persoalan yang sama, tingginya pengguna jalan dalam waktu yang hampir bersamaan bahkan secara serempak menuju beberapa tempat tujuan. Hal tersebut berakibat pada kepadatan, keamanan, kenyamanan, dan keselamatan pengguna jalan. Penelitian kualitatif ini dilakukan secara deskriptif melalui metode analisis isi dengan teori efektivitas dan teori manajemen transportasi. Hasil yang diperoleh terjadi distorsi pada praktik yang terjadi selama ini, baik dari sisi manajemen transportasi maupun dari sisi kepentingan publik yang terkait dengan pelanggaran hak-hak konsumen pengguna angkutan umum, di antaranya pelanggaran tarif batas atas oleh operator. Abstract

Abstract

Aviation business in Indonesia still has a bad image in the international community because of some ethical cases involving the airline companies. The purpose of this study is to explore the ethical issues of aviation business in Indonesia and to find out how to improve the application of business ethics. This research is an explorative study. Data is obtained through observation, literature study and in-depth interviews with key-informants regarding the ethical issues of aviation business in Indonesia. The results show that the critical issues in aviation business ethics in Indonesia has been identified: 1) the issue of flight safety, 2) environmental issues, and 3) the issue of professional ethics, specifically drug abuse by pilots and crew. The efforts that should be made to improve the application of business ethics in aviation services are to build a corporate culture that has philanthropic responsibility and to make public policy based on moral values, religion and Indonesian culture.

Abstract

Flight safety  determined by various factors  which  related to human factors, both preflight and in-flight service. Cargo Handling  is one of the contributors of airplane crash in the air. The purpose of this study  are to obtain a profile of  Health and  Safety Culture (K3) and also to  determine the factors that shape the  Health and Safety Culture  at the level of organizations, groups, individuals and the physical environment. This study can be categorized as a  quantitative research with survey approach took place at   Soekarno Hatta International Airport. Methods of analysis  which employed in this research  are  Safety Climate Measurement Model of The British Health  Safety Commission and Factor analysis . Population of this research is 110 employees of cargo warehousing with sample 53 employees using simple random sampling technique. The result of the anylisis shows that the values of Healt and Safety Culture  in the cargo  handling at Soekarno Hatta Airport  are above the score / index average 5.0  which means that in general the whole individual in this section  posses the moderate level of  Healt and Safety values . The factor analysis  which applied has reduced 19  factors  into 11 factors that influence the Health and Safety Culture.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze factors to prioritize the development of aviation professional ethics based on virtue ethics in Indonesia and to decide which best suitable strategy to accomplish the purpose. The data was taken from 8 (eight) aviation and ethics expertise and practitioners. The method of data analysis used Analytic Network Process (ANP) and Super Decisions software was employed to process the data.The result shows that the best and most effective strategy in developing aviation professional ethics based on virtue ethics in Indonesia is by applying the Virtous Leadership. The Virtue Ethics Approach is bound much with moral examples. It means, to ensure the professional and ethical employees in an organization, first thing to do is to assure that the leaders and managers of the organization can give examples and do the obligation with high commitment based on virtues values such as courageous character, honesty, and other cardinal virtues.

Abstract

Based on the observation in Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima Airport, West Nusa Tenggara, several problems were found; the check-in counters were often disrupted or damaged, damage luggage could occur due to porters, incompetent employees in some fields, and indiscipline employees as the act of not paying attention to the company’s regulation. This study aims to determine the strategy for managing employees’ competencies and discipline at work that could contribute to the level of service at this airport and to which extent the role of employees’ competencies and discipline could increase the level of service. This study used SWOT analysis and interview as the research method. The results of the study show that the position of the airport is in a strong competitive position. Sultan Muhammad Salahuddin Bima airport should continue its effort to improve its employees’ capabilities, discipline at work and to provide the supporting facilities of all aspects including increasing airport capacity and improving the human resources quality of airport management.

Abstract

Many studies have examined the value of strategic alignment on company’s performance in general, though the study of the information system value on other factors such as efficiency and productivity are still limited. The purpose of the study is to examine freight transportation related to its business strategy, information system strategy, Website information system effectiveness, organizational culture, and organizational effectiveness. The sample of the study was taken from 30 goods transportation companies. The data collection used 150 respondents consist of 50 academicians and 100 practitioners. The data analysis used hierarchical regression. The results show that the level of alignment of business strategy and information system affects the level of users’ satisfaction of the company’s website information system. The results also show that the level of users’ satisfaction of Web information system mediates the relationship between business strategy and information system of the company’s efficiency and productivity. The research findings do not support the role of organizational culture as a moderator of the relationship between Website information system and organizational effectiveness, although it shows the positive relationship between these variables.

Abstract

Importing the specific rice could only be done by BUMN (Badan Usaha Milik Negara) which in this article represented by PT DFG. The company is still lack of supervision of the customer relationship management implementation due to the absence of the special department and also lack of supervision of distribution. The study used Path Analysis with 35 distributor companies as sample. The purpose of the research is to analyze, directly and indirectly, the variables of customer relationship management and supply chain management on customers’ loyalty of imported specific rice intervened by competitive advantage variables. The results of the study show that the competitive advantage cannot act as an intervening variable and has an indirect effect on customer relationship management of the rice commodity customers’ loyalty. On the other hand, the competitive advantage can act as an intervening variable and has an indirect effect on supply chain management of the specific rice customers’ loyalty. Thus, the changes of the supply chain management implementation in PT DFG can affect customers’ loyalty indirectly through competitive advantage.

Abstract

Efforts to reduce congestion in Jakarta are by providing Transit-Oriented Areas (KBT) connected to several other modes of public transportation, such as Kereta Cepat Indonesia (KCI), LRT, MRT, and Transjakarta. The central government's plan related to Transit-Oriented Areas, the DKI Provincial Government has issued Perda 1/2012 concerning the 2030 regional spatial plan in Chapter 1 Article 75 "Transit-oriented development or Transit Oriented Development, hereinafter abbreviated as TOD, is an integrated area of various functional city activities with local and inter-local connectors". Transit-oriented development (TOD) standards aim to ensure the right of all people to access the city by walking and cycling safely to their destinations by fast and regularly scheduled public transport quickly and affordably and to live a healthy life without relying on private vehicles. This type of research is quantitative, using stakeholder and purposive sampling techniques. The results showed that overall, although the Dukuh Atas area has fulfilled several urban planning principles well, several areas still need to be improved, especially related to bicycle infrastructure, pedestrian accessibility, residential density, and affordable housing prices.
