Abstract

Marketing is a vital aspect of company that involves all activities aimed at promoting products or services, generating value for customers, and building lasting relationships. A logo is a distinctive emblem or visual representation created to promptly convey the unique identity of a firm and facilitate easy recall. The efficacy of a logo in attracting attention and establishing a powerful impact on consumers can be a determining element in distinguishing a product or service from rivals. One of the main challenges encountered by the producers of chicken foot chips in Sampalan Tengah village is the struggle to effectively promote their products, specifically in creating a distinct brand identity. The endeavor to design a logo and revamp the packaging, carried out in Sampalan Tengah village, is a tactical measure to reinforce product recognition, boost competitiveness, and offer the community's unique products to a wider market.

Abstract

Potensi wisata mencakup segala aspek dan elemen yang telah diatur dan disediakan untuk mendukung pengembangan sektor pariwisata. Aspek-aspek ini meliputi suasana, kejadian, benda, dan jasa yang dapat dioptimalkan untuk menarik minat wisatawan. Konsep desa wisata ini telah lama menjadi daya tarik, terutama bagi wisatawan yang berasal dari perkotaan, yang mencari pelarian dari hiruk-pikuk kota dan ingin merasakan kehidupan yang lebih tenang dan dekat dengan alam. Potensi wisata yang ada di berbagai daerah sering kali belum dikelola dengan baik, meskipun memiliki daya tarik yang besar. Banyak daerah memiliki aset wisata yang seharusnya bisa menjadi magnet bagi wisatawan, namun sayangnya, potensi tersebut belum dioptimalkan dengan maksimal. Pelaksanakan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat di Desa Temesi dilakukan dengan membuat video branding dan jingle dengan tujuan menyebarluaskan mengenai destinasi air terjun Desa Temesi.

Abstract

Stunting is a condition in which toddlers exhibit insufficient height or length in relation to their age. Stunted toddlers are likely to face difficulties in achieving optimal physical and cognitive development in the future. The causes of stunting can be attributed to various factors, including socioeconomic conditions, maternal nutrition during pregnancy, infant illnesses, and inadequate nutritional intake during infancy. The community service activities conducted in Sampalan Tengah Village, Klungkung Regency, involve a stunting prevention socialization program carried out during toddler health posts (posyandu). The objectives of this community service initiative are to reduce the incidence of stunting in Sampalan Tengah Village, as well as to enhance community knowledge, awareness, and concern regarding stunting, while also promoting community creativity in stunting prevention through the processing of nutritious food based on local food resources.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat pada periode ini dilakukan di Desa Tiga, Kecamatan Susut, Kabupaten Bangli, Provinsi Bali sejak 16 Januari 2023 hingga 11 Februari 2023. Salah satu program yang kerja yang dilaksanakan adalah “Sosialisasi Pemanfaatan Sampah Anorganik kepada masyarakat Br. Buungan, Desa Tiga, Kecamatan Susut, Kabutapen Bangli”. Kegiatan sosialisasi diawali dengan memberikan materi terkait dengan penggunaan sampah anorganik dari rumah warga Desa Tiga, karena desa Tiga sedang mengalami masalah limbah. Masalah limbah yang terjadi disebabkan oleh sampah anorganik. Sampah anorganik memiliki sifat berlawanan dari sampah bahan organic. Sampah ini berasal dari bahan yang tidak bersumber dari alam (bahan hayati), melainkan dibuat oleh manusia atau berbahan sintetis (non-alami). Tujuan dari pelaksanaan program ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan publik tentang penggunaan sampah anorganik. Metode yang digunakan untuk melaksanakannya adalah dengan mengunjungi rumah-rumah warga untuk memberikan sosialisasi dengan media poster dan memberikan karung dan juga memberikan nomor khusus ke rumah warga sebagai tanda rumah tersebut dijadikan sampel sosialisasi  dalam penggunaan sampah anorganik kepada warga.

Abstract

Pemilihan Umum (pemilu) 2024 merupakan momen penting bagi bangsa Indonesia untuk menentukan arah dan masa depan negara. Tingkat partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemilu menjadi salah satu faktor penentu dalam mewujudkan demokrasi yang berkualitas. Kelurahan Peguyangan, sebagai salah satu wilayah di Denpasar Utara, Bali, memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemilu 2024. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan cara melakukan sosialisasi tentang pentingnya pemilu dan hak pilih masyarakat serta menyebarkan brosur yang berisi informasi tentang tata cara dan mekanisme pemungutan suara. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kesadaran dan partisipasi masyarakat Kelurahan Peguyangan dalam pemilu 2024 meningkat. Hal ini bisa dilihat dari meningkatnya jumlah masyarakat yang memahami pentingnya pemilu dan hak pilih mereka, meningkatnya jumlah masyarakat yang mengetahui tata cara dan mekanisme pemungutan suara, serta antusiasme masyarakat untuk datang ke-TPS (Tempat Pemungutan Suara). Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) ini menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi dan edukasi tentang pemilu kepada masyarakat perlu terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemilu yang akan datang. Diharapkan kegiatan ini dapat juga dicontoh di wilayah lain di Indonesia agar partisipasi masyarakat dalam pemilu terus meningkat

Abstract

Depression is one of the most serious mental health problems among college students, but it often goes unnoticed due to social stigma and limited access to psychological services. This study aims to apply the Naïve Bayes algorithm to predict depression in college students based on various factors, such as academic pressure, sleep duration, eating habits, financial stress, and family history of mental disorders. The model was built using 502 data obtained from the Kaggle platform, through the stages of data preprocessing, transformation, classification using Gaussian Naïve Bayes, and evaluation using a confusion matrix. The implementation process was carried out in Google Colab using the scikit-learn library. The evaluation results showed very good model performance with an accuracy of 97%, precision of 96%, recall of 98%, and F1-score of 97%. These findings indicate that the Naïve Bayes algorithm can be used effectively as an anonymous and efficient early screening tool for depression and has the potential to support increased awareness and mental health interventions in the college student environment.

Abstract

Spam emails represent a substantial concern within the digital landscape, impeding users with unsolicited communications. This study elucidates the utilization of a Support Vector Machine (SVM) coupled with a TF-IDF Vectorizer for categorizing emails into spam and non-spam classifications. The model was developed utilizing two publicly accessible pre-processed datasets: the TREC 2007 Public Spam Corpus and the Enron-Spam Dataset. By employing the TF-IDF algorithm, which allocates heightened importance to infrequent yet pertinent terms, alongside SVM, renowned for its efficacy in textual classification, the model exhibits remarkable efficacy, achieving an accuracy of 99.04%, a precision of 98.57% and a recall of 99.62%. These findings underscore the model's formidable capacity to discern spam emails while concurrently minimizing false positives accurately. This is critical for real-world applications where authentic emails must not be erroneously categorized as spam. Furthermore, this study elaborates on the justification for the selection of TF-IDF and SVM in the context of spam email classification, in addition to the evaluation outcomes of the model, which align with existing literature, wherein the integration of SVM with TF-IDF has demonstrated substantial performance in spam detection endeavours.

Abstract

This study analyzes purchasing patterns in minimarkets using the FP-Growth algorithm to optimize product layouts. One year of sales transaction data (103,181 transactions) from UNDIKNAS Mart were analyzed through data cleaning, transformation, and aggregation. The FP-Growth algorithm was applied with minimum support 5%, confidence 80%, and lift >1 thresholds. Results identified strong product associations, particularly between "Aqua 600 ml (Tanggung)" and various snacks, with confidence values of 81-93% and lift >5. Implementing these findings in product arrangement increased sales by 15-20% despite store accessibility limitations. Cross-validation using a decision tree model showed 81.67% accuracy. The findings demonstrate FP-Growth's effectiveness in small-scale transaction data analysis. The research provides practical contributions for retailers to boost sales through data-driven product layout optimization. A limitation is the single-location data scope, suggesting the need for broader subsequent studies. This study offers a data-based approach adoptable by small and medium retail businesses to enhance operational efficiency and profits. The research confirms that data mining techniques can significantly impact retail performance even in constrained environments, providing empirical evidence of FP-Growth's practical utility in real-world minimarket settings. The methodology and findings contribute to the growing literature on data mining applications in small-scale retail operations, offering replicable frameworks for similar business contexts.
