Abstract

Learning and all educational activities in madrasas are strongly influenced by the organizational culture of communication adopted by the principal of the madrasa. This study aims to describe the culture of organizational communication at MI Kesuma LKMD Namorambe. To systematically parse the topic of this research, the researchers used a qualitative approach with a descriptive study method. The research informants totaled 5 teachers who worked at MI Kesuma LKMD Namorambe, then the data collection used in the application of this research included in-depth interviews, participant observation, focus group discussions, and document analysis. The results of this study concluded that the culture of organizational communication that implements MI Kesuma LKMD Namorambe in carrying out operational activities and implementing work, is practiced by teachers with the concept of having a relationship in the form of forming teacher communication during the process of carrying out work at MI Kesuma LKMD Namorambe. This is based on the indicators applied in this study. so that with this in mind, the researcher provides advice to MI Kesuma LKMD Namorambe regarding the organizational communication culture that is applied to schools which is classified as good (effective), so that it must always be maintained by school residents through providing a good example from the head of the madrasa to existing teachers, so that later teachers who work at MI Kesuma LKMD Namorambe also have a high level of loyalty.

Abstract

The Mahakam Delta is a strategic industrial area in East Kalimantan, Indonesia, in which oil and gas industries reduce ambient air quality and generate excessive noise. This research aimed to analyze the ambient air and noise pollution attributed to oil and gas production activities in the delta. Relevant parameters at five sampling points (UA-02 to UA-06) were measured and further analyzed in the laboratory, including total suspended particulate (TSP), SO2, Pb CO, NO2, O3, temperature, humidity, wind direction, wind speed, and noise. Indonesia’s air pollutant standard index (locally abbreviated as ISPU) with four parameters (CO, NO2, SO2, and O3) was used to determine the ambient air quality, and provisions written in the Decree of the Minister of Environment No. 50 Kep-48/MENLH/11/1996 were consulted for the noise quality assessment.  Results showed ISPU values in the range of 0–50 at the five sampling points, suggesting good ambient air quality and compliance with Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021. In addition, it was revealed that the noise parameter was lower than the upper threshold set in the Ministerial Decree, namely 65 dB. Nevertheless, monitoring air and noise quality at the main pollutant sources should be regulated through policies and implemented to protect the public from exposure to potential pollutants.

Abstract

The use of concrete in construction continues to increase, so innovation in making concrete continues to grow. One of the innovations used in this study is to use additives to analyze the effect of concrete compressive strength on the use of historical beach sand and chemical additives (Plastimen-VZ) as concrete mixes using Mix Design SNI 2834-2000. Testing of the compressive strength of concrete was carried out at 3 and 7 days of age with a reference to normal concrete control of 24.90 MPa or equivalent to K-300 and the number of samples consisted of 18 samples with the added chemical Plastiment-VZ (Sika) 0%, 0.40 %, 0.80%. The results of the study using historical beach sand and Plastimen-VZ (Sika) meet the specifications for use as a concrete mix with a normal concrete control reference of 24 MPa with a compressive strength value of 24.76 MPa. The results of the compressive strength of concrete with a mixture of beach sand and Plastimen-VZ (Sika) 0.40% aged 3 days obtained an average of 24.99 MPa. The results of the compressive strength of concrete with a mixture of beach sand and Plastimen-VZ (Sika) of 0.80% aged 7 days obtained an average of 25.03 MPa.

Abstract

Tanjung Uban Class II Immigration Office as an agency that has a strategic function in terms of immigration services and immigration control for foreigners and passport services for Indonesian citizens. Therefore, the government provides additional benefits called remuneration. With the remuneration, employees are expected to be able to improve performance. However, there is no benchmark or basis for knowing whether this remuneration affects the level of performance of employees at the Tanjung Uban Class II Immigration Office. This research uses descriptive research method using a quantitative approach. The technique used in data collection is observation and questionnaire or questionnaire. This study aims to determine how much influence between the remuneration of employee performance at the Tanjung Uban Class II Immigration Office. Data retrieval is done by proportional random sampling method with total samples n = 46. Significant test results show that the calculated t value is greater than t table (5.791 > 2,0129), then there is a significant effect between remuneration and employee performance at the Tanjung Uban Class II Immigration Office. It can be concluded that the variable X (remuneration) has a  positive influence on the variable Y (performance).The coefficient of determination (R2) is used to measure how far the model's ability to explain the dependent variable. The SPSS output ver.22 above shows that R is 0.658 or 65.8% which means that the independent variable (remuneration) affects the dependent variable (employee performance) by 65.8% and the remaining 34.2%, which is estimated by other factors.

Abstract

Mortar is a mixture of water, fine aggregate, portland cement or other hydraulic adhesive materials, and other additives that improve the quality of mortar. Ground surfaces such as sidewalks, yards, parking, and light paving are covered by block paving. The purpose of this study was to find out how the replacement of sand affects the quality of compressive strength of mortar to be mixed with boiler scale ash. Experiments were conducted at the Civil Engineering Laboratory of Asahan University to use a composition of replacing sand containing boiler scale ash as much as ten, thirty, and fifty per cent of the weight of sand. As a sample, a standard hexagon paving block test specimen with a thickness of 8 cm is used. Nine samples total, three for each variation and three for each variation. After receiving treatment before testing, the sample was tested at 28 days of age. According to the study, the mixture of sand replacement mortar with 50% boiler scale ash has the highest compressive strength of 12.78 MPa at 28 days of concrete life, while the mortar mixture with 10% boiler scale ash has the lowest compressive strength of 8.15 MPa.Keywords  mortar, boiler scale ash, compressive strength, paving block

Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 melanda seluruh kabupaten/kota yang ada di Indonesia termasuk kota Bima Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat. Demi kelancaran kegiatan pembelajaran jarak jauh dimasa pandemi, program studi pendidikan biologi STKIP Bima mengembangkan pembelajaran elektronik (e- learning) jenis moodle melalui dana hibah Kemendikbudristek. Oleh karena itu dilakukannya penelitian ini dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan e-learning moodle terhadap kemampuan literasi digital mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Biologi STKIP Bima. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu. Populasi seluruh mahasiswa program studi pendidikan biologi STKIP Bima semester I tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel dengan sampling random purposive sehingga diperoleh kelas D sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas E sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen pengumpul data berupa angket respon mahasiswa. Setelah itu data dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data bahwa penggunaan e-learning moodle berpengaruh positif terhadap peningkatan kemampuan literasi digital mahasiswa program studi Pendidikan Biologi STKIP Bima yaitu berada dalam kategori sangat baik, baik dan cukup.

Abstract

Ekosistem sawah cenderung memiliki keanekaragaman yang terbatas karena manusia hanya mengiginkan tanaman tertentu saja yang hidup di ekosistem tersebut di Desa Wora  khususnya di area persawahan, masih banyak dijumpai jenis gulma yang tumbuh dipersawahan padi karena dianggap tidak membahayakan bagi pertumbuhan dan hasil tanaman padi sehingga tidak teratasi dengan baik oleh petani. Teknik penggumpulan menggunakan menggunakan metode plot yang terdiri atas 12 plot, 4 plot bagian pingir 4 plot lagi dibagian tengah dan 4 plot lagi di bagian pinggir, dengan luas masing-masing setiap plot 5m x 5m. pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Data hasil identifikasi ditampilkan dalam bentuk tabulasi berdasarkan divisio, kelas, ordo, famili, genus, spesies dan nama lokal gulma. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ditemukan yaitu 1 divisio, 4 kelas, 7 ordo, 7 familia, 7 genus, dan 7 spesies.  dikelompokkan yaitu famili Araceae, dengan spesies Pistia stratiotes L, (Apu-apu) golongan berdaun lebar, famili Convolvulaceae dengan spesies Ipomoea aquatic (Kangkung) golongan berdaun lebar, family Pontederiaceae dengan spesies Monochoria vaginalis (Eceng Padi) golongan berdaun lebar, family Poaceae dengan spesies Echinochloa crus-galli (L. (Jajagoan) golongan rumput, family Amaranthaceae dengan spesies Alternanthera sessilis (Kremeh) golongan berdaun lebar, family Graminales, dengan spesies Brachiaria mutica (Forsk.) Stapf  (Rumput Para) golongan rumput, dan family Commelinaceae dengan spesies Commelina benghalensis L (Gewor) golongan berdaun lebar, Spesies Brachiaria mutica (Forsk.) Stapf  dengan jumlah 232 dan yang terendah adalah spesies Pistia stratiotes L, dengan jumlah 20 buah.

Abstract

Tempat air hujan disimpan dalam bentuk tong, bak, atau kolam. Minyak sama pentingnya dengan air untuk kehidupan manusia. Karena mayoritas orang Indonesia menyukai makanan yang digoreng, minyak makan tetap diperlukan untuk kebutuhan rumah tangga. Minyak jelantah, minyak yang dihasilkan dari penggorengan, sering digunakan untuk menghemat, tetapi sifatnya yang karsinogenik dapat menyebabkan kanker di masa depan. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk merubah paradigma dan merubah paradigma ibu-ibu PTPN III Sei Mangke. Hasil dari kegiatan tersebut dengan jumlah 25 orang yaitu rentang usia 28-37 tahun dengan persentase 36% dan tingkat Pendidikan terbanyak SMA dengan persentase 48% dan terjadi perubahan paradigma dimana sebelumnya tidak mengetahui sampai memahami berdasarkan hasil survei angket dari kegiatan tersebut.

Abstract

Water is one of the most vital sources of livelihood for all living things on earth. However, not all people have the ability to process water. Datuk Bandar District is one of the areas that has a large number of residents and facilities for schools, offices and other public facilities. In this study, we analyze the demand for domestic and non-domestic clean water in Datuk Bandar District for the next 20 years by projecting the need for population growth until 2041 based on data from the Central Statistics Agency. The method used in this study is the method of arithmetic, geometry, and least square. From the results of the analysis, the projected population of Datuk Bandar Subdistrict in 2041 using the geometric method is 81,670 people and the projected clean water needs of 85,105 l/second, while for now the production capacity of PDAM Tirta Kualo for Datuk Bandar Subdistrict is in WTP II service, namely of 90 l/sec. so that until 2041 the need for clean water for Datuk Bandar District is still fulfilled.
