Abstract

The process of understanding a presentation presented on television especially service society’s advertisement is very important in succeed supporting of a product which is produced. The purpose of this research is to know the background of television viewer and customer of service society’s advertisement about must immunization for children under five in 2013 and to know the process of decoding service society’s advertisement about must immunization for children under five in 2013 by using descriptive qualitative method, observation, not structural interview, focus group discussion and data analysis (flow model). The result of the research shows that decoding is an important part in a set of communication process because media cannot hegemony the viewer or the customer without television viewer’s decoding. The background and position of decoding show that knowing a same text which read and understood by the viewer set the viewer in the certain decoding position and known customer’s reception level upon the text that consumed. Keywords: perception, service society’s advertisement, decoding ABSTRAK Proses memahami dalam pemaknaan sebuah tayangan yang hadir di televisi terutama iklan layanan masyarakat sangatlah penting dalam mendukung keberhasilan sebuah produk yang telah diproduksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui latar belakang penonton dan konsumen iklan layanan masyarakat imunisasi wajib bagi balita tahun 2013 dan untuk mengetahui proses decoding iklan layanan masyarakat imunisasi wajib bagi balita tahun 2013 dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif, observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, wawancara kelompok fokus, dan analisis data (flow model). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa decoding adalah bagian terpenting dalam rangkaian proses komunikasi, karena tanpa decoding penonton, media tidak dapat menghegemoni penontonnya atau konsumennya. Latar belakang dan posisi decoding menunjukkan bahwa mengetahui sebuah teks yang sama dibaca dan dipahami oleh penonton menempatkan penonton pada posisi decoding tertentu dan diketahui tingkat penerimaan konsumen atas teks yang dikonsumsi. Abstract

Sinetron as well as films are formed from narrative and cinematic elements. Editing is one of the cinematic elements which can conveys the impression of atmosphere in the film throught constructed by visual. Sinetron Preman Pensiun 3 with the comedy genre trying to convey a paralleled scene. Based on the phenomenon, this research aims is conducted to find out the development of comedy impression through editing techniques. The result shows that development of comedic impression is capable constructed through editing techniques. Editing aspect provides information in detail and the impression of humor or funny atmosphere, while the humor theory illustrated the universal characteristics that can provide a comedy charges.

Abstract

Jember is a district with the geographical conditions of mountains, agriculture, and plantations. The connection between these three characteristics gave birth to a diversity of arts, languages, tourism, and culinary. Utilization of the agricultural sector, especially in the Ajung sub-district, there are people in this area who rely heavily on natural resources, especially in agricultural and plantation resources. This beneficial natural potential makes the people in Ajung Subdistrict, especially in Pancakarya Village, much to build a home industry for processing agricultural products in the form of tape industry. The problem faced by partners is the lack of familiarity of products that are widely owned, thus causing the partner's economy to not be optimal. This problem is the basis of the service program proposed by the proponent to strive to increase the marketing of tape chips. Based on the specific targets to be achieved, the main purpose of the community service activities proposed is to strengthen the brand image of the chips product through audio-visual advertising. The method of implementing this service program is adjusted to the standard operating procedure for making audiovisual works consisting of stages: 1) pre-production consisting of idea-finding, planning, and preparation; 2) production; and 3) post-production. The results of audio-visual advertising of tape chips are expected to be a promotional media for products owned by Koplak Food Homemade Industry so that they can be widely known to the public and build brand image products for tape chips.

Abstract

ABSTRACTSurga Yang Tak Dirindukan is one of the film adaptation of the novel Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan by Asma Nadia. The film is produced by MD Entertainment in 2015 and directed by Kuntz Agus. Adaptation of two medias between the novel into a film resulted in changes in Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan film. The director could not include all the stories in the novel, so it needs ecranisation in the film, including changes, downsizing, additions, and variation of change. More dominant ecranisation happened in the aspect of the plot, story, setting, also characters and characterizations in the film adaptation. The theory used by researcher are ecranisation and creative process as the main theory, while aesthetics and subjectivity the director used as the second theory. This study focuses on the creative process undertaken by Kuntz Agus while do the ecranisation process, because the process requires consideration in many ways. Descriptive qualitative research method is used by researcher to get the result of research in the form of Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan novel and film’s ecranisation as well as the creative process by Kuntz Agus. Based on these results, researcher concluded that the creative process by Kuntz Agus more focused on the dramatic aspect and logic in building a story of the film of Surga Yang Tak Dirindukan.

Abstract

Desa Sukosari Kidul, Kecamatan Sumberwringin, Kabupaten Bondowoso memiliki potensi alam, kesenian, dan kuliner yang dapat saling terkait satu dengan lainnya menjadi konsep wisata yang sangat menarik. Hal ini terbukti tahun 2022 Desa Wisata Tirta Agung desa Sukosari Kidul menjadi juara 2 kategori Desa Wisata Rintisan ADWI 2022. Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendukung terciptanya desa budaya di Desa Sukosari Kidul dengan mengangkat potensi kuliner. Pelaksanaan program pengandian ini berkolaborasi dengan POKDARWIS, UMKM dan Masyarakat Desa Sukosari Kidul yang bergerak dibidang kuliner dan kesenian. Realisasi pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian ini dengan mengadakan FGD untuk pemetaan permasalahan, Pendampingan dalam penyusunan desain kegiatan, Realisasi kegiatan, dan evaluasi. Adapun hasil yang dicapai yaitu terlaksanakannya launching pasar lereng raung etalase produk kuliner Desa Sukosari Kidul.

Abstract

Eros love is one of love that is identic with the sensation of arousal and sexual desire in the pattern of teenage romance. The content of love that is attached to the emotions of actors and sensation of desire makes the author take on the major cinematographer in film Burung Dara. Burung Dara tells the story of a couple teenage who having relationship beyond the bounds of the norm. The author uses a haptic visuality approach combined with emotional rhythm editing techniques to amplify emotions and give a touch-like sensation to the visuals of teenage love through a 27-minute film with a drama genre.

Abstract

Film Gundala (2019) merupakan salah satu film yang mengangkat kisah superhero Indonesia karya Joko Anwar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan maskulinitas tokoh Sancaka melalui aspek mise en scene pada film Gundala (2019). Penelitian ini menggunakan teori mise en scene sebagai teori utama dan teori maskulinitas Janet Saltzman Chafetz sebagai teori pendukung. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Objek penelitiannya yakni film Gundala (2019), sedangkan subjek penelitiannya berupa mise en scene film Gundala (2019) dan kajian maskulinitas tokoh Sancaka dalam film Gundala (2019). Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa mise en scene dapat menvisualisasikan maskulinitas tokoh Sancaka pada film Gundala (2019).

Abstract

The application of artistic order in films needs to consider the aesthetic value. The artistic arrangement of a film is more influential if every detail can contribute to the aesthetic value that is enjoyed and accepted by the audience to support the story. Sebelum Iblis Menjemput Ayat 2 released on February 27, 2020. Sebelum Iblis Menjemput Ayat 2 movie is a follow-up story from Sebelum Iblis Menjemput movie which was released in 2018. This article discusses the aesthetics of the artistic arrangement in Sebelum Iblis Menjemput Ayat 2 movie by Timo Tjahjanto. This study uses Doeana's theory of film and television artistic order as the main theory, and A.A.M. Djelantik's aesthetic theory includes form, weight or content, and appearance is a supporting theory. The type of research used is a type of qualitative research using descriptive writing techniques. The results of the study are that the aesthetics of artistic arrangement in ritual scenes and climax scenes are depicted through the use of room settings that tend to be dark, the use of properties in the form of goat heads and ancient Greek mythology books, as well as the use of make-up, and clothing that shows the identity of each character.

Abstract

Wisata Teduh Glamping merupakan potensi alam yang telah direalisasikan menjadi objek wisata oleh masyarakat Desa Sumberwringin Kabupaten Bondowoso. Keberadaan wisata ini melengkapi Kawasan Raung Ijen Sumberwringin Agropolitan (RAISA). Program pengabdian kepada masyarakat di objek wisata Teduh Glamping bertujuan untuk mendukung pengembangan objek wisata tersebut supaya memiliki SDM dan manajemen yang profesional dalam mengelola potensi wisata yang dimiliki. Program pengabdian masyarakat tersebut diimplementasikan dalam bentuk FGD terkait pengembangngan objek wisata, pendampingan kelembagaan, pemberian bantuan fisik, pelatihan manajemen bisnis, penguatan strategi promosi, inovasi produk kuliner, serta evaluasi kegiatan. Hasil yang dicapai yaitu keberadaan objek wisata Teduh Glamping memiliki SDM dan manajemen pengelolaan wisata yang professional, sehingga keberadaan objek wisata ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif di bidang ekonomi, sosial, budaya, dan lingkungan khususnya bagi masyarakat Desa Sumberwringin.
