Abstract

This study aims to develop an assessment to measure critical thinking skills on the dangers of consuming alcohol, gambling and fighting.The research method used is Research and Development (RnD) research which consists of 8 steps, which include:Potentials And Problems, Product Planning, Initial Product Development, Expert Validation, Expert Revision, Product Trial, Product Revision, and Final Product.The purpose of this development research is to develop an assessment to measure the critical thinking skills of students of SMPN Bengkulu Selatan on the subject of Dangers of Consuming Alcohol, Gambling and Quarrels in the subject of Islamic Religious Education.The assessment made consists of 20 items in the form of multiple choice that measure students' critical thinking skills which are compiled using critical thinking indicators such as interpretation (interpretation), analysis (analysis), inference (inference), and evaluation (evaluation).The trial subjects in this research and development are expert subjects, namely assessment experts, material experts and linguists, as well as the subject of class VIII students of SMPN 06 Bengkulu Selatan as product users.Data were analyzed descriptively qualitatively and quantitatively.The feasibility of the assessment by three validator experts, namely the assessment expert, material expert and linguist, which was developed on the assessment aspect by 83%, material aspect by 82%, and 95% language aspect, overall was declared very feasible with an average of 86%.This means that the assessment to measure critical thinking skills is stated to be very feasible to use in measuring the level of students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Abstract: This study was conducted to reveal about efforts to accelerate the development of children. Whether positive implication or otherwise of the child psychologically. Efforts to accelerate the development of children has a negative implication. On the other hand, psychologically it is contrary to the principles and tasks of education itself. The task of educators is not to accelerate cognitive development but to help that child grow proportionately and maximum. Creating a balance so that children can develop an integrative and maximum. Then reinterpretation of the notion that “the sooner the better” to “fast is not necessarily right”.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji peran guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter Islami di SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Bengkulu. Pendidikan Agama Islam memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membentuk karakter siswa, khususnya dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai yang sesuai dengan ajaran Islam. Dalam konteks ini, guru PAI menjadi figur sentral dalam proses internalisasi nilai-nilai moral, etika, dan spiritualitas yang membentuk kepribadian siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan guru PAI, observasi kelas, serta analisis dokumen terkait kurikulum dan materi ajar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI di SMA Muhammadiyah Kota Bengkulu tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai pengajar materi agama, tetapi juga sebagai pembimbing yang aktif dalam membentuk perilaku siswa berdasarkan nilai-nilai karakter Islami. Guru PAI menanamkan nilai-nilai seperti kejujuran, tanggung jawab, kasih sayang, disiplin, dan rasa hormat kepada orang lain melalui berbagai metode pengajaran, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, serta pembiasaan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, peran guru juga melibatkan kolaborasi dengan orang tua dan pihak sekolah dalam menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung perkembangan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa guru PAI memiliki peran yang sangat strategis dalam menciptakan generasi muda yang tidak hanya cerdas secara akademik, tetapi juga memiliki karakter Islami yang kuat dalam kehidupan sosial dan spiritualnya.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning material The Story of the Prophet Muhammad by using animated videos in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 15 Kepahiang, as well as knowing the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research belongs to the type of qualitative research. The data collection technique used is direct observation by observing the learning process of Islamic Religious Education material on the Example of the Prophet Muhammad by using animated videos. Then direct interviews with the Principal and PAI teachers concerned, then documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of Islamic Religious Education learning material The Story of the Prophet Muhammad by using animated videos has a positive impact on students. In practice, the teacher shows animated videos through several stages, namely preparation, implementation, and follow-up. The animated videos used in learning are adjusted to the learning objectives, and the teacher communicates the activities carried out with the students, and there is a folow-up in the form of giving assignments from the teacher as material reinforcement. Supporting and inhibiting factors that influence, namely from the aspect of students, namely the understanding of students who are different, then from the aspect of teachers, namely, the ability of teachers to operate computers, and aspects of facilities infrastructure.
