Abstract

This research aims to find out moral values in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” novel. The data of this research were obtained from words, phrases, sentences, and utterances. This research was using a qualitative descriptive method. There were three kinds of collecting the data, they were documentation, interview, and book review from another reader. Five major phases were used for the data analysis: they were data managing, reading, noting, classifying, interpreting, and representing. The results of data analysis shows that moral values in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” novel are commitment to something greater than oneself; self respect, but with humbleness or respect to others, self-discipline, and acceptance of personal responsibility; respect and caring for others; and caring for other living things and environment.

Abstract

This research aimed at finding out and developing intrinsic elements and how social life was presented in the novel Mirror Image by Sandra Brown. This is a qualitative research. The data of the research were taken from word, phrase, sentences in the novel and they were analyzed used triangulation method. Data source triangulation was achieved through the inclusion of two different types of data: interviews and questionnaire. The result showed were social aspect, economy aspect, politic aspect, and cultural aspect.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi kontribusi variabel profesionalisme dan budaya organisasi di sekolah terhadap kinerja guru SD di Gugus 10 Kota Prabumulih. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian korelasional. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kompetensi professional dengan kinerja guru; 2) terdapat hubungan signifikan antara budaya organisasi di sekolah dengan kinerja guru SD di Gugus 10 Kota Prabumulih; 3) terdapat hubungan signifikan antara kompetensi profesional dan budaya organisasi dengan kinerja guru SD di Gugus 10 Kota Prabumulih

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan disiplin guru terhadap kinerja guru. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik observasi, dokumentasi, dan kuisioner tentang pengaruh kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan disiplin guru terhadap kinerja guru di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kecamatan Rambang Kapak Tengah, dapat diambil beberapa kesimpulan: 1) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah (X1) terhadap kinerja guru (Y); 2) ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara variabel disiplin guru (X2) terhadap kinerja guru (Y); dan 3) variabel kepemimpinan visioner kepala sekolah dan disiplin guru mempengaruhi kinerja guru secara bersama-sama.

Abstract

Great value and culture of Indonesian people that very popular around the world. The highly complex conflict in Indonesia is generally extremely concerning, particularly the normative downturn. This same real dilemma is also taking place in the world of schooling. So this study aimed to reveal the moral value and instrinsic elements form the novel Black Notice by Patricia Cornwell relate to people from different environment by interview. The data of the research were gained through triangulation technique taken from novel, book review and interview which are analysed with desrcriptive qualitatively afterwards,and describe the condition and relation which are held and process still going. The results of the study found that certain moral values and intrinsic features include the novel Black Notice by Patricia Cornwell using the Social And cultural Historical Technique and the Biographical Framework.

Abstract

In remote areas school experience limitations in fulfilling quality educational facilities and infrastructure. This qualitative research aimed at revealing how schools meet the standard of facilities and infrastructure and what factors influence them. The instruments used were interviews, observation and documentation. The results found that the standard fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure in the Elementary Schools Public 25 at Muara Sugihan District was still low compared from several other public elementary schools at the Muara Sugihan sub-district. The Principal explained that the factors influence it include geographical location, the role of community leaders, parents of students, educators and. Facilities for the provision of necessities related to facilities should be carried out jointly by all school members.

Abstract

The Indonesian government implemented the learner-centered Merdeka Curriculum to overhaul the country's educational system. This curriculum is being used at MI Hijriyah II Palembang, a well-known Islamic elementary school in Palembang. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the Merdeka Curriculum's implementation at MI Hijriyah II Palembang, with an emphasis on its advantages, disadvantages, opportunities, and threats. In order to collect data for this qualitative study, semi-structured interviews, observations, and document analysis were used in conjunction with a case study design. Teachers, students, and administrators from the school were among the participants. The study shows that a learner-centered approach, greater student autonomy, and integration of Islamic values are characteristics of MI Hijriyah II Palembang's Merdeka Curriculum implementation. Still, there are issues like poor training for teachers, a lack of resources, and mistrust from parents. This study highlights the opportunities and difficulties the school faced in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum in a particular educational setting. The results have implications for stakeholder engagement, resource allocation, and teacher professional development, which will ultimately help MI Hijriyah II Palembang and other schools improve how they implement the curriculum

Abstract

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Budaya Organisasi Dan Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMA Negeri Kabupaten Muara Enim. Metode penelitian ini adalah korelasional dengan populasi 128 orang guru. Sampel dipilih melalui sampling acak proposional hingga mendapatkan 128 orang responden. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan kuesioner yang telah diuji validasi dan reliabilitas terhadap dua variable bebas yaitu Budaya Organisasi (X1) dan Gaya Kepemimpinan (X2), dan satu variable terikat yaitu Kinerja Guru (Y). Uji hipotesis dan analisis data menggunakanan analisis bivariat dengan korelasi product moment, dan analisis multivariate melalui uji multikolinearitas, dan regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh antara budaya organisasi dan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah terhadap kinerja guru baik parsial maupun simultan di SMA Negeri Kabupaten Muara Enim
