Abstract

AbstrakTulisan ini berawal dari penelitian di semester kelas IX siswa MTs Negeri 1  Palembang, pada mata pelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia dengan model CIRC. Tujuan penelitian yang hendak dicapai adalah memberikan hasil optimal terhadap kemampuan siswa dalam membaca memindai. Model CIRC  diharapkan dapat memberi pencerahan bagi siswa upaya menangkap makna yang terkandung dalam    sebuah teks bacaan/wacana. Dari hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa setelah diterapkannya CIRC maka kemampuan siswa membaca memindai meningkat. Perolehan rerata hasil yang dicapai siswa adalah  71,7 yang berkemampuan cukup baik hingga sangat baik dan telah memenuhi KKM 70 yang dipersyaratkan. Kata Kunci: membaca, memindai, model, pengajaran, siswa

Abstract

This article presents conceptual design of gender based-teaching material for teaching “Press and Journalistic Skill” to the students of Language and literature education department. This conceptual design is the result of the first year research finding of the two years scheduled. The teaching material developed was in the form of textbook. This teaching material was designed to improve students’ skill in press and journalism. To develop this instructional material, the writers used Research and Development method. The result of the research showed that the content of the textbook of press and journalism covers d the scope of communication, the nature, process and components of communication, mass communication and press/jurnalism, jurnalist, mass media, news, the ethics of journalism, and the press law. Abstract

It had been done a research about adsorption of Cu2+ using polysulfone-FeOOH nanofiber prepared by elektrospinning method. Polysulfone-FeOOH nanofiber was synthesized by dissolving polysulfone pellets in 30 mL dimethylacetamide (DMAc). The effects of process conditions such as concentration, distance between the nozzle and collector, voltage and flow rate on the morphology and diameter of nanofibers were investigated. The optimum conditions of polysulfone nanofiber synthesizing was obtained with concentration 25%, distance 12 cm, voltage 25 kV, and flow rate  0.05 mL/min with average diameters of fibers was 762.927 nm. Polysulfone nanofiber was coated with FeOOH to increase the adsorbtion capacity of Cu2+. The results showed that optimum condition for removal of Cu2+ used polysulfone-FeOOH nanofiber was obtained in 2 hours contact time, pH 6, adsorbent dosage 25 mg, and concentration of Cu2+ 10 mg/L with adsorbstion capacity was 9.79 mg/g, while for polysulfone nanofiber the adsorption capacity was 8.34 mg/g. The adsorbtion pattern of Cu2+ by the both of adsorbent followed the Freundlich isotherm pattern.ABSTRAK Penelitian mengenai pemisahan ion Cu2+menggunakan nanofiber polisulfon-FeOOH yang disintesis dengan metode elektrospinning telah dilakukan. Nanofiber polisulfon P-3500 disintesis dengan cara melarutkan pelet polisulfon ke dalam 30 mL dimethylacetamide (DMAc). Pengaruh kondisi seperti konsentrasi, jarak nozzle dengan kolektor, tegangan dan laju alir terhadap morfologi dan diameter serat dipelajari. Kondisi optimum pembuatan nanofiber polisulfon diperoleh dengan konsentrasi 23 %, jarak 12 cm, tegangan 25 kV, dan laju alir 0,05 mL/min dengan ukuran diameter serat rata-rata 762,927 nm. Nanofiber yang terbentuk dilapisi dengan FeOOH untuk meningkatkan kapasitas penyerapannya terhadap ion Cu2+. Dari hasil penelitian didapatkan kondisi optimum untuk pemisahan ion Cu2+ menggunakan nanofiber polisulfon-FeOOH yaitu waktu kontak 2 jam, pH 6, bobot adsorben 25 mg, dan konsentrasi Cu2+10 mg/L dengan kapasitas penyerapan 9,79 mg/g, sedangkan untuk nanofiber polisulfon kapasitas penyerapan 8,34 mg/g. Pola penyerapan Cu2+ untuk kedua jenis adsorben lebih sesuai dengan pola isoterm Freundlich

Abstract

English is a language widely used by many countries in the world. It has many grammar rules in which  each has structural pattern regulating composition of clause, phrase, and words in natural language. Simple Present Tense is one of 16 tenses in English Grammar. It is the first and basic tense which used to express regular and habitual action. Most Junior  High School students have difficulty in determining grammar pattern of tenses, particularly in Simple Present Tense. This research discussed about an application for determining English sentence pattern of Simple Present Tense by using Bottom Up Parsing Method. This is one of Parsing methods used for unscrambling sentence. The English sentence was broken down and translated into pattern forms. The constructed form had rule-base character and implemented Context Free Grammar (CFG). Among 110 inputs of testing, the usage of Bottom Up Parsing Method in determining a sentence pattern got 88.1% data accuracy. In this case, the system could not detect the name of person in interrogative sentence which located at the second word functioning as a subject.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain an in-depth understanding of ideology in the Pepsodent community service ad text in Kompas Newspaper. The research approach is qualitative with critical discourse analysis techniques using Norman Fairclough's critical discourse analysis theory method that combines three dimensions in communication events, namely texts, discourse practices, and socio-cultural practices. Data sources were public service advertisements made by Pepsodent and published in Kompas 2016 Newspaper. The findings of the study showed that there was an attempt to hide the ideology behind the discourse so that the reader did not feel that through the advertisement there was an ideology that was tried to be conveyed by the advertiser through the discourse text. Ideology in the practice of discourse describes factors that influence the production of text, namely, loading or not loading, routine media, and urgency, choosing, and sorting and influencing the views of readers; and the ideology in the consumption of text is the influence of consumption, which is consuming outside information, integrating digital media, following the media agenda, consuming media content according to needs, and relying on mass media information. Ideology in socio-cultural practices illustrates how public service advertisements about dental health are so close to health conditions in Indonesia. In fact, actually the ideology of the company that produces Pepsodent, Unilever is for business purposes.

Abstract

This study aims to study the process of fabricating and characterization nanofibers based on cellulose acetate polymer filled with ceftriaxone and ibuprofen using the electrospinning method as a model for a targeted drug delivery system. Cellulose acetate has been successfully fabricated into nanofibers using the electrospinning method and filled with ceftriaxone and ibuprofen. The resulting nanofibers have an average diameter in the range of 412.5 – 558.5 nm under the conditions of the electrospinning process, namely 22 kV voltage, 15 cm distance, and flow rate. 0.005 mL/min using acetone/DMAc (2:1). Based on the data generated from the FTIR test, homogeneity, and drug release test, it is known that the resulting nanofibers, namely cellulose acetate, cellulose acetate-ceftriaxone, and cellulose acetate-ibuprofen, have good morphological characteristics, homogeneity, and release rate so that they have the potential to be used as a targeted drug delivery system

Abstract

Kecamatan Dusun Selatan, Desa Pararapak, Dusun Danau Jutuh salah satu daerah yang berada di Kabupaten Barito Selatan berpotensi sumber daya alam sangat bagus. Desa Pararapak menjadi tujuan utama untuk pelaksanakan KKN IAIN Palangka Raya. Salah satu potensi alam yang dimiliki Desa Pararapak, adalah perkebunan nanas. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan jenis dengan pendekatan Asset, Based Community, Development (ABCD). Lokasi penelitian di dusun Danau Jutuh dan waktu pelaksanaan pada tanggal 3 September 2023 pukul 14.00-16.30 WIB. Peserta yang mengikuti kegiatan ini berjumlah 30 orang ibu warga Dusun Danau Jutuh. Pelaksanaan kegiatan terdiri dari tiga tahapan yaitu tahap perencanaan/awal, tahap pelaksanaan, tahap evaluasi. Dengan adanya hasil nanas ini, banyak warga sekitar yang menjadikan nanas sebagai salah satu mata pencarian mereka. Nanas yang di budidaya oleh warga setempat merupakan buah yang berasal dari desa Pararapak yang di kenal dengan sebutan Nanas Parigi. Produk yang sudah dihasilkan oleh nanas madu parigi ini seperti selai nanas, keripik nanas, manisan nanas, sirup nanas, dan juga sabun mandi. Selain dimanfaatkan untuk olahan makanan, ternyata nanas parigi juga bisa dimanfaatkan menjadi sabun mandi. Hal ini bisa dijadikan inovasi baru bagi Desa Pararapak. Dengan inovasi baru dalam pengolahan nanas parigi menjadi sabun mandi diharapkan dapat meningkatkan UMKM yang ada di Desa Pararapak.

Abstract

An IoT-based air quality monitoring system is a technology that integrates with the internet to monitor and measure numerous air quality metrics in real-time. CO levels, dust particle levels, temperature, and humidity are the air quality characteristics that must be monitored. The air quality monitoring system in its current state requires further development, such as challenges to acquiring accurate and real-time data and difficulty in accessing reliable information. Poor air quality causes various health problems, respiratory, vision, heart disease, and even cancer. The development of air pollution producers continues to increase along with the number of oil-fueled vehicles, industries operated using petroleum-fueled engines, power plants that use energy from coal, gas and petroleum. This study presents an IoT-based air quality parameter monitoring system solution that is connected with the Blynk platform and can be accessible in real time, in an effort to assist the SDGs program, which is mandated by the global community through the UN. The research technique employed is Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The study successfully presented an IoT-based air quality monitoring system connected with the Blynk platform, which showed great accuracy in measurement 94.34% (CO), 81.15% (dust), 99.14% (temperature), and 96.84% (humidity). These results advance urban air quality monitoring and inform sustainable technology development, contributing to environmental and health-related SDGs.

Abstract

Indonesia, an archipelagic nation with about 70% ocean territory, relies on oceanographic data for efficient marine environment monitoring and natural resource sustainability. Current data collection is limited by tools measuring only single parameters and lengthy data collection times. This study proposes a marine coastal water quality monitoring tool based on the internet of things (IoT), capable of simultaneously measuring temperature, electrical conductivity, pH, and dissolved oxygen. Utilizing an Atmega328 and a battery lasting up to 119 hours, this system offers a cost-effective solution for real-time oceanographic data collection. Employing the ADDIE methodology, the results demonstrate high measurement accuracy compared to traditional methods, with accuracy of 90.5% for temperature, 93.50% for electrical conductivity, 93.67% for pH, and 96.82% for dissolved oxygen. The development of this tool aims to reduce costs and labor in capturing oceanographic data integrated with IoT, facilitate access and monitoring of water data, and make a significant contribution to achieving SDGs targets. The main focus on the goals of addressing climate change and life underwater, especially in the aspects of water resources management and protection of marine ecosystems in Indonesian.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the impact of the Ĥalāqah method in improving the religious character of students at the Darul Amin Islamic boarding school in Palangka Raya. This research was carried out at the Darul Amin Palangka Raya Islamic boarding school in the form of qualitative research. Therefore, the approach taken was through a qualitative approach using the form of a case study. The source of data for this study is the teachers at Darul Amin Islamic Boarding School in Palangka Raya. Dalam penelitian ini, teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui empat tahap, yaitu pengumpulan, reduksi, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan. The results of this research show that. The Ĥalāqah method at the Darul Amin Palangkaraya Islamic boarding school is used as an effort to improve the religious character of the students and to form positive interactions between the ustaz and the students, thus providing a positive impact in improving the religious character of the students.
