Abstract

ABSTRAK Kesehatan reproduksi adalah keadaan kesejahteraan fisik, mental, dan sosial secara lengkap dan bukan hanya adanya penyakit atau kelemahan, dalam segala hal yang berhubungan dengan sistem reproduksi dan fungsi-fungsi serta prosesnya (Kementerian Kesehatan, 2017). Salah satu permasalahan yang paling banyak mendapatkan perhatian pada remaja adalah tentang kesehatan reproduksi. Hal ini berkaitan dengan perubahan biologis dan pematangan organ reproduksi pada remaja, serta mempersiapkan remaja menghadapi proses perkembangan berikutnya yaitu berkembang biak (bereproduksi). Masa remaja perlu mengenal tubuh dan organ reproduksi, perubahan fisik dan psikologis agar dapat melindungi diri dari risiko yang mengancam kesehatan dan keselamatan fungsi organ reproduksi ((Auria et al., 2022)). Tujuan edukasi ini ialah Meningkatkan pengetahuan dan perilaku remaja tentang kesehatan reproduksi dengan menjaga kebersihan personal hygiene. Metode pelaksanaan pada kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu mulai pengkajian, sosialisasi kegiatan, pembuatan bahan edukasi, pelaksanaan edukasi dan evaluasi menggunakan pengisian formulir prepost tes. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan remaja setelah diberikan edukasi yang diukur dengan kuesioner pretest dan posttest. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini menjadikan masyarakat khususnya remaja mengetahui faktor-faktor yang dapat menyebabkan gangguan kesehatan reproduksi sehingga meningkatkan motivasi dan kesadaran remaja dalam menerapkan personal hygiene. Kata Kunci: Edukasi, Kesehatan Reproduksi, Remaja.  ABSTRACT Reproductive health is a state of complete physical, mental, and social well-being and not merely the presence of disease or infirmity, in all matters relating to the reproductive system and its functions and processes (Ministry of Health, 2017). One of the issues that receives the most attention in adolescents is reproductive health. This is related to biological changes and maturation of the reproductive organs in adolescents, as well as preparing adolescents to face the next development process, namely reproduction. Adolescents need to know the body and reproductive organs, physical and psychological changes in order to protect themselves from risks that threaten the health and safety of reproductive organ functions (Ninta et al, 2023. The purpose of this education is to increase adolescent knowledge and behavior about reproductive health by maintaining personal hygiene. The implementation method for this community service activity is starting from assessment, socialization of activities, making educational materials, implementing education and evaluation using filling out pre-post test forms. The results of this community service activity show that there is an increase in adolescent knowledge after being given education as measured by pre-test and post-test questionnaires. Through this community service activity, the community, especially adolescents, are aware of the factors that can cause reproductive health disorders, thereby increasing the motivation and awareness of adolescents in implementing personal hygiene. Keywords: Education, Reproductive Health, Adolescents.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the role of female MSME actors in increasing family income from a maqashid sharia perspective. This research uses qualitative research methods. The data in this research was obtained from primary data through interviews and observations with female MSME actors in the East Gegutu Environment. Sample determination is carried out using the method random sampling thus obtaining three informants. Data analysis was carried out using a descriptive method with stages of data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results of the research show that the role of female MSME actors is very positive in increasing family income and continuing to implement the five main elements that must be maintained in Islam (maqashid sharia), namely hifz ad-din, hifz an-nafs, hifz al-'aql, hifz an-nasl, Andhifz al-mal.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas mengenai promosi perpustakaan dalam kajian Islam, pelaksanaannya di perpustakaan perguruan tinggi Islam dan hambatannya, serta  peran pustakawan sebagai agen promosi. Lokus dibatasi pada Perpustakaan UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta dan UIN Antasari Banjarmasin. Dengan metode kualitatif yang bersifat deskripstif, riset dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara kepada pimpinan dan pustakawan yang bertugas dalam kegiatan tersebut. Dari hasil riset diketahui bahwa promosi di kedua lokus tersebut belum dilakukan secara optimal. Beberapa bentuk  yang telah dilakukan memiliki kesamaan yakni berupa program sosialisasi perpustakaan dan literasi informasi,  promosi melalui media cetak dan media sosial khususnya instagram, youtube, dan website, melakukan desain tata ruang, dan menjadikan semua pustakawan/ staf perpustakaan sebagai agen promosi. Promosi perpustakaan merupakan implementasi nilai-nilai Islam dalam membudayakan literasi, khususnya literasi informasi, dengan didasari prinsip shiddiq, tabligh, amanah dan fathanah. Diharapkan perpustakaan perguruan tinggi Islam terus mengembangkan program promosi menjadi lebih terstruktur dan sistematis sehingga tujuan promosi dapat dicapai dengan lebih maksimal..

Abstract

Character education based on Islamic values is a crucial aspect in the formation of students’ personalities, especially in vocational education environments with a semi-military system. The campus environment, encompassing physical, social, and cultural aspects, is believed to play a strategic role in the process of internalizing Islamic values. However, the extent to which these elements contribute to the Islamic behavior of students is still rarely studied in depth. This research aims to comprehensively analyze the impact of the campus environment on the internalization of Islamic educational values. The approach employed was qualitative descriptive, utilizing data collection techniques that included participatory observation and in-depth interviews with six final-year students, two lecturers, and two campus staff members. Data analysis was conducted thematically, through coding, categorization, and the identification of key themes that describe the relationship between the physical, social, and cultural aspects of the campus and the practice of Islamic values. The study’s results indicate a gap between the availability of worship facilities and religious programs, and the internalization of Islamic values in students’ daily behavior. Student participation tends to be formal and inconsistent, while semi-military discipline has not been fully integrated with the development of Islamic character. The social and cultural environment of the campus has not formed a collective culture that supports the practice of Islamic values as a whole. These findings confirm that strengthening Islamic educational values requires synergy between campus structure, social interaction, and culture, not just through the provision of formal facilities or programs. The implications of this research can serve as the basis for formulating a more effective Islamic character development strategy in semi-military vocational education.

Abstract

The design of the Tanah Laut Regency Library and Archives Service building looks attractive in terms of its artistic and modern design. However, addressing interior design problems is still necessary because they cause inconvenience to visiting users. Therefore, it is necessary to view the interior design of the Tanah Laut Regency Library and Archives Service from the perceptions or responses of users. The type of research used is descriptive research with quantitative methods. The research population is 432 users. Determination of the sample in this study using the Slovin formula with an error rate of 10% obtained sample of 82 respondents. The study's results by distributing questionnaires showed that users' responses to interior design at the Tanah Laut District Library and Archives Service could be identified based on indicators of interior design elements. The user's response to spatial planning, color, and air circulation has an average score of 3.73, 3.97, and 3.44, which are in the agreed category. The user's response to lighting and spatial planning elements averaged 2.96, and 2.91 was in the quite agree category. Even though the overall average score of 3.49 is in the agreed category for lighting and spatial planning, it needs to be improved again because it is still in the entirely agreed category, which shows that there is still some inconvenience for users to be in the library.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Perpustakaan diselenggarakan oleh pemerintah sebagai lembaga yang mendukung keberhasilan instansi yang menaunginya. Keberadaan perpustakaan pada dasarnya bertujuan untuk menunjang terlaksananya fungsi dari pendidikan nasional. Dalam hubungannya dengan hal tersebut perpustakaan memiliki peran penting dalam menunjang pendidikan karakter khususnya dalam hal mengembangkan sikap gemar membaca. Gemar membaca merupakan kebiasaan menyediakan waktu untuk membaca berbagai bacaan yang memberikan kebaikan bagi dirinya. Namun seiring perkembangan teknologi akhir-akhir ini memberikan dampak yang besar terhadap peran perpustakaan dalam mengembangakan minat baca masyarakat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran perpustakaan UIN Antasari Banjarmasin dalam mengembangkan sikap gemar membaca mahasiswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa Perpustakaan UIN Antasari memiliki peran aktif dalam mengembangkan sikap gemar membaca mahasiswa, terbukti dari tanggung jawab yang besar terhadap meningkatnya minat baca mahasiswa UIN Antasari. Pustakawan benar-benar menjalankan tugas sebagai pengelola informasi untuk menyediakan informasi yang menarik, bermanfaat, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pemustaka sehingga pemustaka menjadi gemar membaca informasi yang ada di perpustakaan. Kata Kunci: Peran, Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi, Gemar Membaca

Abstract

Background: The rapid development of information technology presents significant challenges for libraries in maintaining relevant and accurate collections. Information literacy has become an essential competency for librarians to effectively evaluate, manage, and provide information resources. Purpose: This study examines the relationship between librarians’ information literacy and the quality of library collections in five state universities in South Kalimantan using a quantitative regression approach. Method: All 51 librarians were included through saturated sampling, with data collected via observations, questionnaires, and documentation, and validated for reliability. The findings show that librarians’ information literacy is in the good category (mean 3.20), as is the quality of library collections (mean 3.54). The correlation test produced r = 0.236 (sig. 0.061), indicating a positive yet moderate relationship. Result: These results highlight that stronger information literacy skills contribute to better-managed collections. Conclusion: More broadly, the study suggests that strengthening information literacy competencies can enhance collection development practices not only in South Kalimantan but also in other higher education institutions with similar contexts.

Abstract

This study discusses the management of the school library at SMP Negeri 2 Alalak, focusing on the service sector based on management theory and in alignment with national standards for junior high schools. The purpose of this study is to examine the management of the school library at SMP Negeri 2 Alalak, particularly in terms of library services based on management theory and conformity with national standards for junior high school libraries, as well as to identify the challenges encountered in managing library services at SMP Negeri 2 Alalak. The research findings indicate that the management of the school library at SMP Negeri 2 Alalak has not yet fully met the national library standards. Library services are still conducted manually and have not adapted to technological developments through the integration of information technology in service delivery. However, library programs in the form of literacy activities conducted in collaboration with Indonesian language teachers serve as efforts to improve students’ reading abilities. The implication of this study is that it provides insights for school library managers in improving library services to increase library visits.

Abstract

Libraries as information centers have a responsibility to continuously innovate in providing services to thecommunity. This study aims to examine the utilization of social media as a promotional tool for libraries atthe Department of Library and Archives of Banjar Regency. This research employs field research with aqualitative research method. Data were collected through observation, structured interviews, anddocumentation techniques. Interviews were conducted with three informants from the social media division.The data sources consist of primary data obtained directly from informants through interviews andobservations, as well as secondary data in the form of documents relevant to this study. The results indicatethat the Department of Library and Archives of Banjar Regency has utilized various social media platforms,such as Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, to disseminate service information and share literacy-relatedactivities. The implication of this study is that digital media can serve as an effective promotional tool toincrease library visits.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the optimization of services in a school library. The research employed a descriptive qualitative method, which seeks to describe the results of observations of phenomena as well as credible and valid data sources related to the optimization of school library services. The subject of this study was the library of MAN 1 Banjar, while the object of the study was library visitation at MAN 1 Banjar. The results indicate that library visitation services have not yet been optimized. The average number of visitors per month is approximately 20 people. The conclusion of this study highlights the need to increase the book collection and utilize internet facilities to maximize the number of library visitors. The implication of this study is to provide insights for improving library services in order to increase school library visits.
