Abstract

This research is motivated by several things, including the negligence of the majority of Muslim communities in emulating the intelligence of the Prophet Muhammad in facing and solving various life problems. The Muslim community's ignorance and unwillingness to study the history of the life of the Prophet Muhammad means that they have no guidance, so they cannot face, let alone solve, the problems of their lives. This research aims to reveal the essence of intelligence/fathonah possessed by the Prophet Muhammad SAW, which is then used as a reference for the Muslim community as a basis or reference in navigating a life full of all trials and problems.What is used in this research is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The results of this research are that the Prophet Muhammad had the most perfect and diverse intelligence (multiple intelligences), In fact, no one can match the intelligence possessed by the Prophet Muhammad. The diversity of intelligence he possesses has been proven by his having held all professions and succeeded in carrying them out well, he has been in trade, he is a teacher who teaches, he is a preacher, he is a state leader, he is a warlord, he is a diplomat, he is a thinker, and so on. Therefore, it is appropriate for every Muslim to emulate the intelligence of the Prophet Muhammad as a basis or guide in living a life full of problems and challenges.Keywords: Intelligence, Fathonah, Prophet Muhammad SAW

Abstract

Roleplay is a game played on social media where individuals assume the persona of an artist and manage corresponding social media accounts. This activity involves building a social media identity, with many roleplayers attempting to do so optimally, even resorting to buying usernames at relatively high prices for survival. This research adopts a phenomenological approach, employing observational data collection techniques, and participant interviews, and explores the process of buying and selling usernames on Twitter.The results of this study reveal two primary methods for username transactions: manual searching through the platform's search bar using specific keywords and utilizing Autobase, a tool designed explicitly for buying and selling purposes. Beyond detailing the procedural aspects of username transactions, the research delves into the motives driving individuals to engage in roleplay. One enduring method in roleplaying is the acquisition of usernames, motivated by identity consistency and personal enjoyment. However, the significance of being a roleplayer extends beyond username acquisition. This study emphasizes that the existence of roleplayers is not solely measured by the quality of their usernames. Participants acknowledge that cultivating a positive character and image is equally crucial for their continued presence in the roleplay community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze urban lifestyles in a postmodern context, with a focus on the Fitness First gym community in Senayan City, Jakarta. Through an ethnographic approach, this research explores how members of the gym community communicate and form their identities in urban spaces. Using ethnographic methods participant observation and in-depth interviews, this research identifies various aspects of communication that occur in interactions between community members, including symbols, body language, and the use of social media. The research results show that the gym community is not only a place to exercise but also a social space that influences the way individuals present themselves and interact in the broader context of urban society. These findings provide new insights into the relationship between urban lifestyle, communication, and identity formation in the postmodern era, especially in the context of urban gym communities in Jakarta.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika percakapan di media sosial X terkait stigma perawan tua dan peran gender dalam konteks pernikahan. Data dikumpulkan melalui analisis percakapan di media sosial X menjelang Hari Raya Idulfitri 2024, yang melibatkan unggahan dan komentar mengenai status lajang perempuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa stereotipe terhadap perempuan lajang, terutama mereka yang berusia di atas 30 tahun, diperdebatkan dengan intens. Peserta percakapan, khususnya perempuan, menggunakan pengalaman pribadi, sindiran, dan strategi defensif untuk melawan stigma sosial, seperti istilah perawan tua yang mereka redefinisi sebagai simbol kemandirian. Percakapan ini juga menunjukkan peran media sosial sebagai platform untuk mengkritik norma patriarki yang menuntut perempuan menikah pada usia tertentu. Kritik terhadap peran laki-laki yang tidak bertanggung jawab, seperti melalui istilah mokondo, menjadi topik sentral, mencerminkan pergeseran nilai sosial yang menekankan kebebasan individu. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa media sosial X tidak hanya memperkuat stereotipe tetapi juga menciptakan ruang bagi perubahan sosial, memperkenalkan narasi progresif tentang peran gender dan kehidupan lajang perempuan. Penelitian ini memperlihatkan pentingnya solidaritas kolektif dan peran media sosial dalam mendobrak stigma serta membangun kesadaran gender yang lebih inklusif.

Abstract

Modern culture and globalization cannot be avoided by world society, including Muslim society. Day by day, the world is increasingly developing towards technological progress, both in communication and information. Therefore, the influence of modern culture has two sides, namely positive and negative. Positive influence can certainly make it easier for people to access information, carry out communications, transactions, and so on. There are also many negative influences, including being able to make users of sophisticated technological devices addictive, such as gadgets or smartphones, social deviations, and transactions that are prohibited by religion. This research aims to find solutions to the negative influences caused by modern culture, then what are the tips so Muslim communities can use these modern tools with the goals and conditions recommended by religion? So with modern tools, we will create a modern culture that does not depart from the teachings of the Islamic religion. This research is included in the type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach. This research is also included in library research, and the primary data in this research is in the form of articles related to the research theme. The results of this research are that among the solutions that can be implemented by the MUI in maintaining Islamic teachings amidst the influence of modern culture are 3 ways, namely: 1) MUI to provide direction and guidance so that the Islamic community always refers to the Qur'an and Hadith as the main basis and guidelines for Islamic teachings; 2) MUI to provide direction and guidance and collaborate with the mosque council to make the mosque a center for Islamic community activities, such as Islamic culture during the time of the Prophet Muhammad, his companions, and tabi'in; 3) MUI should collaborate with the government as the authority holder to always be able to provide policies that regulate the order of life in modern Islamic society and how to monitor the success of these policies in society.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of MSME actors in understanding "The Importance of the Benefits of Business Legality as a Support for Product Branding" Legality has an important role as a support for product branding because it provides credibility, trust, and protection for products. With benefits, increasing consumer trust, increasing competitiveness, protecting product rights, facilitating collaboration and improving brand reputation. Participants in this community service activity from the Indonesian Hands Foundation (GTI) will be equipped with an understanding of the importance of business legality. With training, MSME actors are expected to be able to understand business legality in order to compete effectively and optimally as a support for product branding, so that they can increase the reach and competitiveness of sustainable businesses in the digitalization era.

Abstract

Social media platforms have the ability to facilitate international condemnation of Israel's attacks on the Gaza region since October 8, 2023. However, social media, especially Facebook and Instagram, secretly carried out censorship actions which triggered user resistance to simultaneously use the image of a watermelon fruit as a representation of the Palestinian flag. Simultaneously with the circulation of watermelon images on social media platforms, Palestinian sympathizers distributed campaign information for the emancipatory Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement. The use of the watermelon symbol or watermelon resistance as sympathy for the Palestinian movement is a symbolic interaction in digital activism through social media

Abstract

Product packaging for Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) is highly urgent as a marketing strategy that not only protects the product but also increases sales value, brand differentiation, and consumer trust. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide understanding and training in effective, functional, and aesthetic packaging techniques, in accordance with the principles of informative, environmentally friendly, and market-oriented design. The targeted output is to increase the ability of UMKM to design attractive and professional packaging, be able to compete in the modern market, and implement innovations such aseco-packagingand smart packaging through Quick Response/QR Code integration. It is hoped that through this assistance, UMKM can optimize the function of packaging as a promotional and product protection tool, while simultaneously increasing the competitiveness and economic value of their products.

Abstract

In today’s fast-paced digital era, MSMEs in Bekasi City face significant challenges in integrating digital technology into their business operations. Many lack the knowledge and skills needed to adopt technology effectively, making them vulnerable to competitive disadvantages, limited market expansion, and exposure to digital security threats. To address these issues, comprehensive digital literacy training is essential to empower MSME actors to utilize technology in a safe and efficient manner that supports business growth. The "Introduction to Technology and Digitalization for MSME Businesses" training program is designed to equip participants with foundational knowledge of computers and the internet, effective use of social media as a marketing tool, and the basics of digital security to safeguard business information. By participating in this program, MSME actors from the UMKM Naik Kelas community in Bekasi are expected to improve their ability to adopt digital solutions, expand market reach, and enhance competitiveness. This initiative aims to produce tangible outcomes, including increased understanding of digital tools, practical application of social media for business promotion, and heightened awareness of cybersecurity measures. These skills will enable MSME actors to modernize their operations, better integrate technology, and ultimately strengthen their business resilience and economic contributions. With enhanced digital capabilities, MSMEs can achieve sustained growth, reinforce their presence in the marketplace, and contribute more effectively to local economic development.

Abstract

The hotel kitchen which functions as a production room that processes food ingredients from raw materials to food ingredients that are ready to be served and sold to hotel guests. What must always be kept clean so that the processed food is not contaminated with germs caused by the equipment used or raw materials used in the kitchen area is responsible for food production within the food & beverage department. This organization shows the positions and titles of kitchen staff from the top to the bottom. By looking at the meaning of the function and role of the kitchen in a hotel, and the parts of the kitchen in the hotel and the organization of staff in the hotel kitchen, the author is interested in taking the title: "Strategy and Role of the Kitchen to Improve Operations at the Best Western Premier Hotel The Hive Cawang , East Jakarta".
