Abstract

Food and Bakery is one of the departments in the F&B product in a hotel which is a place where various processed cakes and breads are processed which guests will enjoy. A baker must have a disciplined, agile, creative attitude and must always innovate. to always develop existing preparations into new products so that customers or connoisseurs of pastry and bakery preparations are increasingly interested and want to try these processed products, especially since processed pastry and bakery products are always a dessert. To find out the efforts to improve pastry and bakery products at the Bast Western Premier Hotel The Hive Cawang, East Jakarta, the researchers conducted research directly to the hotel. The research method used to conduct this research was descriptive qualitative analysis. The results of this study, the researchers concluded that in the processing of pastry and bakery every employee, both staff and deily workers, must follow existing management standards and recipes, both good quality raw materials, dosage, and processing techniques that aim to produce processed pastry and bakery products that are of good quality and in accordance with the standards that have been set so that there are more efforts to improve processing related to F&B at the hotel

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work discipline on employee performance at PT. Berastagi Rantauprapat. To determine the effect of giving incentives to employee performance at PT. Berastagi Rantauprapat . To determine the effect of work discipline and intensive giving effect on employee performance at PT. Berastagi Rantauprapat. This type of research is associative research. Data collection in this study was carried out through a survey approach with a quantitative descriptive research type by distributing questionnaires to 35 respondents while the population used in this study was employees of PT. Berastagi Rantauprapat. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, questionnaires and documentation studies. The data analysis technique used in this research is descriptive analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, hypothesis testing using simultaneous significant test (F test), partial significant test (t test), and testing the coefficient of determination (R2). The results of this study indicate that partially the incentive variable has no positive and significant effect on employee motivation, partially that the work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation and simultaneously that the incentive and work discipline variable has a positive and significant effect on employee motivation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan tingkat kepuasan pengguna Generasi Z terhadap akun Instagram milik homeless media, yakni Folkative, USS Feeds, Cretivox, dan media berita konvensional, yakni Detikcom, IDN Times, Kompas.com, dalam memenuhi kebutuhan informasi. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan uses and gratifications model nilai harapan, penelitian ini menganalisis perbedaan antara Gratification Sought (GS) dan Gratification Obtained (GO) berdasarkan lima indikator: kenyamanan, pencarian informasi, hiburan, identitas pribadi, dan interaksi sosial. Survei dilakukan terhadap 100 responden Generasi Z di Universitas Pembangunan Jaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa homeless media lebih unggul dalam aspek kenyamanan dan hiburan, sementara media berita lebih dipercaya dalam pencarian informasi. Namun, kedua jenis media ini belum optimal dalam aspek interaksi sosial. Temuan ini mengindikasikan adanya pergeseran pola konsumsi informasi pada Generasi Z, dan menunjukkan perlunya adaptasi strategi konten oleh media konvensional agar tetap relevan dalam lanskap media digital yang terus berkembang.
