Abstract

The sun is a source of energy that cannot be used up. Therefore, the utilization of solar energy must be a priority. With the many types of solar panels that have been developed, researchers conducted an analysis of 150 watt monocrystalline solar panels. The purpose of this study is to know the amount of current and voltage produced by solar panels in some conditions of the sky, namely cloudy, bright cloudy, and bright. The research method used was the experiment. From the data that has been obtained, it can be found that the energy produced by solar panels during cloudy ranges from 0.6-0.8 amperes, when it is cloudy, 0.9-1.9 amperes, and when bright 2.0-3.2 amperes. The amount of electrical energy that can be produced is 8%. Abstract

This study assesses the effectiveness of project-based digital learning in which students design a prototype of an Arduino-based intelligent watering and capacitive soil moisture sensor by following the ADDIE flow. The design used was ex post facto descriptive-correlational in one class totaling 117 students, conducted in Indonesia, where traditional farming methods dominate. Achievement data was taken from six components of the assessment (participatory activities, project scores, assignments, quizzes, middle exams, and final exams). Descriptive statistics are visualized through histograms and box-plots; Pearson correlation tests and multiple linear regression were performed to predict the contribution of each component to the final exam, while the technical validity of the prototype was evaluated in ten laboratory cycles using p-charts and Kaplan Meier analysis. The results showed that the value of clustered projects was in the high category (M = 86.8; SD = 7.1) and significantly correlated with the final exam (r = 0.54; β = 0.22; p < 0.01), explaining ± 22 % additional cognitive variance after the formative test was controlled. Participatory activities had a moderate correlation with the final exam (r ≈ 0.50), signaling a transfer of problem-solving skills acquired during prototype collaboration. Tool reliability tests showed 70% of prototypes were in stable function within the first ten cycles; All points were within control limits although the three initial failures hinted at the need for advanced sensor calibration. Learning constraints such as low quiz and assignment scores and wiring/coding difficulties were addressed through micro-deadlines, quick feedback, pair-programming clinics, and prerequisite videos. These findings confirm that ADDIE-based IoT projects can simultaneously improve students' knowledge, practical skills, and problem-solving disposition, provided they are accompanied by pedagogical supports and ongoing technical validation.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study was to determine the application of problem based learning can improve problem solving skills This study used classroom action research, using 2 research cycles with each cycle being implementation, application, observation, and reflection. The research instruments used were lesson plans, and student worksheets. The implementation of learning is done through five stages. Stage 1: Directing students to the problem, stage 2: Organizing students during the learning process, stage 3: Assisting independent and group investigations, stage 4: Developing and presenting work and exhibitions, stage 5: Evaluating and reflecting on the learning process. This application has assessment results taken from the value of student worksheets in cycle I is 75.00, 81.25, and 87.50 with each of these values then included in the good category. Whereas in cycle II the values were 87.50 and 93.25 in the very good category. The application of problem-based learning can improve the problem solving ability of students in class XI IPA SMA Muhammadiyah 2 Metro on light waves material in the form of understanding problem-based concepts.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan literasi dan numerasi siswa Sekolah Dasar di Kota Metro menjadi masalah yang membutuhkan penanganan segera. Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi melalui pelatihan dan pendampingan guru menggunakan model Lesson Study Learning Community (LSLC) dengan fokus pada pemanfaatan buku bacaan bermutu. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di 12 Sekolah Dasar dengan capaian literasi dan numerasi rendah. Metode yang digunakan meliputi sosialisasi, pelatihan intensif guru, pelaksanaan lesson study dalam tiga siklus pembelajaran, serta refleksi dan replikasi praktik baik. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran dan keterlibatan siswa dari siklus pertama ke siklus berikutnya. Guru melaporkan peningkatan kemampuan profesional dan kesiapan dalam mengintegrasikan buku bacaan bermutu, sementara siswa menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar serta kemampuan berpikir kritis dan numerik. Pengabdian ini membuktikan bahwa penerapan model LSLC yang terintegrasi dengan pemanfaatan buku berkualitas efektif dalam memperkuat budaya literasi dan numerasi di sekolah dasar, sekaligus meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran secara berkelanjutan. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi sekolah lain dalam pengembangan pembelajaran berbasis literasi dan numerasi.
