Abstract

The objectives of this research is to know the pattern of causal relationships inter-variables on the decision-making empirical model in Vocational High School (SMK). The decision-making empirical model in Vocational High School, consisting of variables: (a) the adequacy of Information and Communication Technology (ICT), (b) the benefits of using information systems, (c) the ethics in decision making, (d) the contribution of school and social environments, (e) the intentions of behaviour, and (f) the patterns of decision-making. Relation between variables was tested statistically using path analysis. The results of the research are as follows. The varian explained by each variable is mathematically formulated in: ZY = 0.134 A + 0.141 B + 0.102 C + 0.486 D + 0.193 E. The most dominant effect for direct effect is D to E has ρDE = 0,47 and the correlation coefficient = 0,709.

Abstract

This research goal  to heat  transfer rate prediction  on  every node  insurface  line  and  the  difference  of  temperature  measurement  between direct measurement and numerical analysis based on Matlab with finite difference technique. Object of this research is aluminium plate to take shape a plaid square with size 5 x 22 em to divided in 75 node. The result of this research is heat transfer rate on every node in surface line between direct  measurement  and  numerical   analysis   based   on  Matlab  not difference of significance.

Abstract

Sliding mode controller (SMC) has become a popular traditional control method in industries due to the most effective control strategies employing nonlinear control and the ability to reject disturbances, particularly for line trajectory control. However, this control method has chattering problems due to high-frequency switching. To cope with the shortcoming, an artificial intelligence (AI) method is utilized in the traditional SMC to eliminate or reduce this chattering problem. This paper investigates an adaptive fuzzy logic system combined with SMC algorithm to alleviate the problem. Fuzzy logic is chosen due to its advantages in tackling nonlinear properties using if-then thinking, whereas SMC method can be applied due to its ability to reject disturbance control. The inverted pendulum is selected as a controlled object and simulated using MATLAB/Simulink to investigate this control method. By combining the fuzzy logic system and the SMC approach, the chattering problems can be adaptively reduced on the line trajectory tracking signal. The adaptive fuzzy SMC achieved better performance with fast response compared with previous literature algorithms for similar plants.

Abstract

Tujuan pembuatan Tugas Akhir ini adalah: (1) merancang fingerprint dan gprs pada sistem pengaman sepeda motor, (2) mengimplementasi fingerprint dan gprs pada sistem pengaman sepeda motor, (3) mengetahui unjuk kerja fingerprint dan gprs pada sistem pengaman sepeda motor. Komponen utama yang digunakan adalah Arduino Mega sebagai pusat olah data , fingerprint sebagai keamanan utama, gprs sebagai kemanan kedua. dan kode numerik sebagai penulisan password serta mensetting sistem. Langkah Pembuatan Sitem Keamanan Ganda Sepeda Motor Berbasis Arduino Untuk Peningkatan Keamanan ini adalah (1) Perancangan Perangkat Keras: pertama Pembuatan Skematik Sistem , kedua Pembuatan Layout PCB,  ketiga Pembuatan Desain 3D, terakhir  Desain box finising, (2) Perancangan Perangkat Lunak pertama Pembuatan alur diagram kedua Pembuatan program Arduino. Berdasarkan Hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan (1) Fingerprint pada sistem pengaman kendaraan ini menjadi komponen keamanan utama yang sulit ditembus, (2) GPRS dapat mengirim pesan ke Android pemilik Sepeda Motor, (3) Kode Numerik dapat mengirimkan kode angka yang tepat, (4) Sistem alat bekerja dengan baik, dimana Fingerprint mengirim data sidik jari ke Arduino lalu Sepeda motor ON atau Kode Numerik mengirim Password ke Arduino lalu Arduino memproses Sepeda Motor ON apabila gagal 3 kali alarm berbunyi serta mengirim pesan ke Android.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 mengubah cara pembelajaran secara tatap muka menjadi pembelajaran jauh atau e-learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bukti empiris faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi penerimaan dan penggunaan e-learning oleh guru pada SMK Ma’arif 1 Yogyakarta. Model penelitian ini berdasarkan framework Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of a Technology (UTAUT). Data didapatkan dari 32 responden melalui kuesioner berskala Likert 5 tingkat. Partial Last Squares – Structural Equation Modeling (PLS – SEM) digunakan sebagai teknik analisis data dengan bantuan software SmartPLS versi 3.3.2. Hasil pengujian hipotesis didapatkan bahwa social influence berpengaruh signifikan terhadap behavioral intention untuk menerima dan menggunakan e-learning pada guru. Sementara itu, performance expectation, effort expectancy, facilitating condition, dan perceived cost tidak berpengaruh signifikan.

Abstract

 Learning Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming is influenced by several factors, that is: lecturer competence in PLC programming, adequacy of information technology infrastructure in learning, availability of learning media, vocational guidance procedures, and learning motivation. The purpose of this study: (a) to describe the factors that contribute to PLC programming learning, (b) to formulate a PLC programming competency model, and (c) to examine the determinants of PLC programming learning. Model testing method using Path Analysis.  The results of this analysis are expected to be able to describe the relational patterns between variables in learning PLC programming, as well as the direct and indirect impacts on the mastery of PLC programming competencies.  Keywords: PLC programming competency, path analysis, vocational education.

Abstract

This paper discusses the research results on the development of learning media and the results of the feasibility test for the learning process. This study aims to: (1) obtain the design and prototype of Arduino-based high-frequency signal data acquisition learning media; (2) find out the level of feasibility of learning media that has been made for the learning process of Antenna Practice and Wave Propagation courses. The research model uses Research and Development with the ADDIE development method. The research stages in the ADDIE method are Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate. The research began with the development of learning media called Antenna Pattern Radiation Learning Media and the Practicum Module containing a collection of lab sheets for practicum activities using the media. The next step involves assessing the viability of the media. Validation tests gather expert feedback on materials, media, and users. In this study, data was collected using a questionnaire and analyzed quantitatively using descriptive analysis techniques. This research and development effort led to the creation of Antenna Pattern Radiation Learning Media and its practical modules. The test results showed that the material experts gave it a score of 95%, media experts rated it at 85.4%, and users (students) gave it a score of 80.65%. Based on the evaluations of the material experts, media experts, and users, it can be concluded that the Antenna Pattern Radiation learning media falls into the highly feasible category and can be utilized as a learning resource in courses related to Antenna and Wave Propagation.

Abstract

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on practicum learning is enormous. Restrictions on learning activities make it difficult for students to accept lessons. Learning models in distance learning must be adjusted for more optimal learning. The level of effectiveness of learning methods is a measure of the success of the learning process. This study aims to test the performance and effectiveness of smart robot learning media in supporting Self Directed Learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The study used ADDIE development procedures and, for effectiveness tests using, pre-experimental research with a model one group pretest-post-test design. The respondents were 32 students majoring in industrial electronics engineering. The data analysis technique in this study uses quantitative description. The learning media used in this study is in the form of smart robot learning media that has been tested for the material's feasibility level and the media's feasibility. The effectiveness of robot learning media obtained a moderate category predicate with an increase in a score of 6.22 and an acquisition value of 0.55. The results of the effectiveness value show that robot learning media can support independent learning in the Robotic System Control subject.

Abstract

Burung walet merupakan burung pemakan serangga dengan sayap meruncing, memiliki ekor panjang, berwarna hitam dan tubuh bawahnya berwarna coklat. Hal yang sangat bermanfaat dari burung walet yaitu sarangnya dapat menjadi obat-obatan bagi manusia. Burung walet berkembang biak di daerah yang beriklim tropis dengan curah hujan yang tinggi. Unsur kelembaban dan suhu adalah faktor berkembang biaknya spesies atau populasi burung walet. Penelitian ini merupakan perancangan embedded system untuk kendali rumah burung walet adaptif berbasis ATmega8. Proses perancangan sistem dilakukan dengan menganalisis kebutuhan di lapangan, membuat desain, mengembangkan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Sistem yang dikembangkan menggunakan mikrokontroler ATMega8, sensor DHT11, Real Time Clock (RTC), modul audio, humidifier sebagai pelembab ruangan, mini fan untuk sirkulasi udara, dan LED untuk mencegah hama predator. ATmega8 dipilih karena bentuk yang minimalis dan biaya yang rendah sehingga lebih prospek untuk proksi massal.  Pada pengujian, hampir seluruh kompetensi penilaian berhasil tercapai, kecuali pada peltier kit. Secara keseluruhan, sistem dapat beroperasi otomatis sesuai yang diinginkan dan berfungsi dengan baik.

Abstract

The use of smartphones as a learning medium is still minimal. Thus, there is a big opportunity to use smartphones as an interactive learning medium. This research aims to; (1) Produce interactive learning media that is suitable for use in respiratory system material; (2) Providing practical learning media. This research is in the form of Research & Development (R&D) with the Multimedia Development Life Cycle (MDLC) development model with the stages of conceptualizing, designing, collecting materials, manufacturing, testing and distribution. The feasibility testing instrument is in the form of a questionnaire filled out by technical experts and students as final consumers. For testing, the instrument validity test was carried out using the product moment correlation technique, while the instrument reliability test was carried out using the Cronbach alpha technique. The result of this research is interactive learning media in the form of an Android application titled Kinerfa, which utilizes augmented reality technology. After alpha testing, the product was tested by students at SMP Negeri 1 Banjarnegara. The final test results show the product feasibility level with a percentage of 68.5% so that the product can be declared "feasible".
