Abstract

This research aims to determine the independence of Children with Special Needs (ABK) through scouting methods at SLB Negeri Punung. The research was descriptive qualitative with a single case study approach. The informants consisted of 2 teachers as scout leaders and 5 students, chosen to use purposive sampling. Data collection methods consist of observation, interviews and documentation. Qualitative data analysis was chosen to use the Miles concept and Huberman through three activities, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing/ verification. The results obtained in this study are: 1) scouting activities at SLB Negeri Punung are superior extracurricular activities by implementing scouting methods including the scout code of honor, learning by doing, and partnerships with adult members, 2) scouting activities have implications for student independence, the observed indicators include initiative, self-confidence, decision-making ability and progressiveness, 3) obstacles in this activity are the difficulty in understanding the material presented by the teacher, so it requires support from parents and teachers to increase student participation. Abstract

Students who have difficulty reading, it turns out that not only students in lower grades, but students in higher grades also still have some children who have difficulty reading. The purpose of this study, among others, researchers want to know the factors that influence students' reading difficulties at SDN Pucangsewu and the efforts made by teachers to overcome these problems. The method used in this study is qualitative descriptive research. Qualitative descriptive research is used to understand the subjects studied about the reading difficulties experienced by the subjects. Based on the results of observations and interviews that have been conducted, it was identified that subjects who had difficulty reading were in 3 classes, namely class III as many as 2 children, class IV as many as 2 children, and class VI as many as 1 child. There are several factors that influence reading difficulties in students, including internal factors and external factors of students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penerapan, tantangan, dan dampak pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada mata pelajaran IPAS kelas 5 di SD Negeri Jatimalang. Masalah utama yang dikaji adalah belum optimalnya pelaksanaan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi karena perbedaan gaya belajar siswa dan keterbatasan waktu guru dalam merancang pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, angket, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru telah menerapkan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi melalui variasi konten, proses, dan produk, meskipun terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu dan kurangnya pemahaman teknologi. Dampaknya, pembelajaran berdiferensiasi meningkatkan motivasi, keterlibatan, dan hasil belajar siswa, namun masih ditemukan kendala teknis dan sosial. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pembelajaran berdiferensiasi dapat meningkatkan kualitas belajar siswa, tetapi membutuhkan dukungan dan strategi yang tepat.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) describe the implementation of the SEMUT (Sejenak Memungut/Briefly Picking Up) Waste Collection Program at Sekolah Alam Pacitan; and (2) describe the role of teachers in fostering students’ environmental care character through the program. The research employed a descriptive qualitative approach, with data sources consisting of first to third-grade teachers and selected third-grade students at Sekolah Alam Pacitan. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, with data credibility ensured through source and technique triangulation. Data analysis involved data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the SEMUT Program has been implemented in accordance with its components and indicators, including planning, implementation, and evaluation stages. However, community participation levels still require improvement. The teacher, as an educator, serves as a role model by consistently demonstrating proper waste disposal and management habits. The teacher provides appreciation for students' efforts as a form of motivation. As a guide, the teacher shows commitment by initiating activities that reduce the use of single-use items. The teacher trains students by involving them in hands-on practices. Acting as a facilitator, the teacher provides space for skill development through innovative project-based activities aligned with the principles of 5R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Replant, Replace).

Abstract

The Adiwiyata Program is a school program that aims to create the responsibility of school residents in protecting and managing the environment to support sustainable development. The objectives of this study to describe: 1) the implementation of the Adiwiyata program in SDN Jatimalang; (2) student’s response in the implementation of the Adiwiyata program; (3) the student's environmental care attitude in the implementation of the Adiwiyata program. This research was a qualitative research which used qualitative descriptive methods qualitative. The research subjects were the fifth grade students of SDN Jatimalang. Data collection techniques included documentation, observation, interviews, and questionnaires. Data validation used triangulation technique and data sources. Data analysis used a qualitative descriptive of Miles and Huberman technique, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that: (1) The implementation of the Adiwiyata program in SDN Jatimalang can be carried out well and has been done with the initial planning stages. The implementation of the Adiwiyata program fulfills two aspects: environmental-based school curiculum aspects and participatory-based activities; (2) Student’s response in the implementation of the Adiwiyata program in SDN Jatimalang showed the result of having good responses with a precentage of 72%; (3) The environmental care attitude in the implementation of the Adiwiyata program in SDN Jatimalang showed the result of having good attitudes with a precentage of 78%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetuhi penggunaan WhatsApp dalam kegiatanbelajar mengajar, untuk mengetauhi pembelajaran melalui grup Whatsapp dan untukmengtauhi penggunaan aplikasi WhatsApp dapat berdampak paada kompetensi belaajar siswa.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian dalah penelitian kualitatif dengan bentuk studikasus, yaitu suatu penelitian yang menekankan pada aspe pemahaman secara mendalam padasuatu permasalahan serta penelitian melakukan eksplorasi secara mendalam terhadapprogram; proses dan aktivitas. Subjek penelitian guru dan siswa kelas V SDN 2 Ploso Pacitan.Teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisisdata yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah menggunakan analisis data di lapangan modelMiles dan Huberman. Hasil penelitian ini mnunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran menggunakanWhatsApp tidk efektif dikarenakan kendala dari pihak guru serta siswanya. Mulai daripengusaha teknologi yang kurang oleh guru, orang tua dan siswa. Siswa tidak memilikihandphone sendiri yang mengakibatkan tidak efektif pada pembelajaran. Dampak kompetensisiswa menurun dilihat dari respon saat pembelajaran berlangsung.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematikberbasis lingkungan hidup, sikap konservasi lingkungan siswa kelas V, serta peran guru dankepala sekolah di SDN Bangunsari tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Penelitian ini merupakanpenelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitianadalah 1 kepala sekolah, 1 guru kelas, dan 35 siswa kelas V SDN Bangunsari. Subjek dipilihdengan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi dokumentasi danobservasi pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik berbasis lingkungan, angket konservasilingkungan siswa, dan wawancara. Keabsahan data menggunakan teknik triangulasi teknikdan sumber. Analisis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil yang diperolehdalam penelitian ini yaitu: 1) pelaksanaan pembelajaran tematik berbasis lingkungan hiduppada siswa kelas V SDN Bangunsari dalam kategori baik, pelaksanaanya sudah berdasarkanpada prosedur yang ada. Guru melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran mengacu pada RencanaPelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Terdapat 3 tahap kegiatan dalam pelaksanaanpembelajaran, yaitu kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, dan kegiatan penutup; 2) Sikapkonservasi lingkungan siswa kelas V SDN Bangunsari menunjukkan hasil yang baik. Skor akhirrata-rata angket yang terdiri dari aspek keanekaragaman hayati, energi bersih, arsitektur hijaudan transportasi internal, kebijakan penggunaan nirkertas, pengelolaan limbah, etika seni danbudaya, dan kader konservasi adalah 2,80. Terdapat 7 siswa yang masuk ke dalam kategoribaik dengan presentase 77,7% dan 2 siswa masuk ke dalam kategori sangat baik denganpresentase 22,3%; 3) Guru dan kepala sekolah memiliki peranan dalam merencanakan,melaksanakan, dan melakukan penilaian pembelajaran bagi siswa. Secara khusus guruberperan sebagai pendamping dan pembimbing, sedangkan kepala sekolah berperan sebagaifasilitator, mediator, dan teladan bagi guru.

Abstract

This study aims to determine: (1) learning science class IV using miniature media at SDN 2 Sidomulyo; (2) the understanding of fourth-grade students of SDN 2 Sidomulyo using miniature media in science learning. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were selected by purposive sampling on the fourth-grade student of SDN 2 Sidomulyo. The object of this research is a miniature learning media in the fourth-grade science subject at SDN 2 Sidomulyo. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, and tests. The test is used to analyze student's understanding of science lessons. The validity of the data uses triangulation of sources, then data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, conclusions, and verification. The results of the study show that 1) the learning process using miniature media is very helpful for students in accepting the material given because they are actively involved in learning. 2) of 10 students in grade IV SDN 2 Sidomulyo have two levels of understanding, namely high (90%) and medium (10%).

Abstract

This study aims to describe students' learning activities using the Quizizz media during a pandemic for fifth graders at SDN Arjowinangun. This research uses descriptive qualitative. The subjects in this study were classroom teachers and students. The object of this research is the active learning of students using Quizizz media during the pandemic of fifth grade students at SDN Arjowinangun. Data collection techniques used in this study include observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation with data analysis using descriptive techniques with Miles and Huberman models. The result of this research is that the students' learning activity using Quizizz media in class V SDN Arjowinangun is very good on average. In the aspect of achieving the goal of using Quizizz media, it can be seen that the average score (3.28) is in the good category. Aspects of student learning activity using the Quizizz media show that the average score (3.6) is in the very good category. Aspects of students' attitudes towards the use of Quizizz media, the average score is (3.46) including the very good category, the teaching and learning process uses Quizizz media before starting the activity the teacher prepares lesson plans, learning media, book sources, assessments, and tools to be used such as a laptop or cell phone. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it is found that students are active in teaching and learning activities using Quizizz media.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out (1) the use of the Make A Match learning model in fifth grade science learning at SDN 2 Gunungsari. (2) the activeness of student learning after using the Make A Match learning model in class V Science learning at SDN 2 Gunungsari. (3) the supporting and inhibiting factors of student activity in learning science using the Make A Match learning model for class V SDN 2 Gunungsari. This research uses a qualitative descriptive research type. Data collection techniques with observation techniques, interviews, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of data analysis obtained 1. Learning using the Make A Match learning model with paired card media is able to attract attention, students' enthusiasm so that learning does not feel bored and bored. 2. Students actively participate in science learning using the Make A Match learning model. Can make students more active in asking, arguing, discussing exchanging information and being able to solve problems given by the teacher. 3. Factors supporting learning using the Make A Match learning model, namely learning and directed material, not rigid, student interaction, responsibility, and student knowledge. learning inhibiting factors using the Make A Match learning model, namely student disorder.
