Abstract

Abstract

Cloud computing plays a crucial role in accelerating digital transformation within the telecommunications sector by enhancing operational efficiency, scalability, and service innovation. However, TelCo faces difficulties in aligning its cloud adoption with effective governance, particularly in ensuring continuous service delivery and resilience. This study proposes a cloud governance framework based on the ambidextrous integration of COBIT 2019 Traditional components and DevOps Focus Area. Employing a Design Science Research methodology, data were collected through semi-structured interviews guided by a structured questionnaire and triangulated with internal documents until data saturation was achieved. Governance and Management Objectives were prioritized using the ambidextrous COBIT 2019 lens, supported by regulatory guidelines from the SOE Minister No. PER-2/MBU/03/2023 and the ICT Minister No. 5/2021, as well as relevant prior studies. The analysis highlighted DSS04: Managed Continuity as the most critical focus area. A capability gap assessment identified vacant leadership roles, overlapping responsibilities, and the lack of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) implementation in cloud services. Recommended improvements include formal assignment of leadership positions, clarification of IT responsibilities, and the adoption of IaC practices. These enhancements are expected to raise the capability maturity of DSS04 from 3.25 to 3.87, representing a 0.62 increase in business continuity readiness. This study contributes to research by extending ambidextrous governance theory to cloud continuity management and provides practical guidance for telecommunications providers seeking to improve operational resilience and manage risks effectively in their digital transformation efforts.

Abstract

This study examines how Project-Based Learning (PBL) improves speaking skills in Paket C students at PKBM Kota Bekasi, an Indonesian non-formal education institution. This research aims to design and deploy customised PBL materials for these children and evaluate their effectiveness in boosting student involvement, communication, and speaking proficiency. To assess PBL's impact, the study uses mixed methods, including qualitative and quantitative methods. Fluency, coherence, and pronunciation improvements are assessed pre- and post-intervention to acquire quantitative data. Student interviews, classroom observations, and professional evaluations provide qualitative insights into student involvement and motivation. PBL greatly improves pupils' speaking fluency, coherence, and pronunciation. Students are more motivated and engaged in learning than using traditional approaches. PBL's interactive and collaborative character creates a dynamic learning environment that fosters active engagement and language skill application. However, the report also finds significant PBL implementation problems. These include restricted technology resources, which affects project delivery and execution, and the necessity for educators to change their teaching practices to enable PBL. Positive results imply that PBL may be an effective pedagogical technique for resolving educational gaps in non-formal settings, despite these challenges. The research shows educators and policymakers that PBL can improve non-formal education learning. Future study should design cost-effective PBL models that handle resource constraints and examine PBL's long-term effects on students' academic and professional growth. Abstract

Education in Indonesia in the 5.0 era utilizes the MBKM English Education Curriculum, which is a modification of the 2013 English Education Curriculum. According to the 2019 PISA survey, Indonesia ranked 74th out of 79, indicating that the cognitive development of Indonesian children remains relatively low. The "Merdeka Belajar" (Independent Learning) strategy is a transformative step in education aimed at producing superior Indonesian human resources who embody the Pancasila student profile. This concept of independent learning emphasizes the cognitive growth of students, requiring them to think critically using their logical abilities. Bloom's Taxonomy can be interpreted as a hierarchical structure that classifies learning capabilities from the lowest to the highest levels. The cognitive, psychomotor, and affective elements are included in Bloom's three categories to categorize human learning activities. Students' intellectual capacities are developed within the cognitive domain, their skills within the psychomotor domain, and their attitudes and behaviors within the emotional domain. The problem formulation that the researcher will examine involves the implementation, factors, and impacts of Bloom's Taxonomy in the application of the MBKM English Education Curriculum in University institutions. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method, which is divided into three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and verification.

Abstract

Islamic education has a strategic role in the development of national character, because it does not only emphasize cognitive aspects, but also instills spiritual, moral, and social values. In this context, Islamic educational units such as madrasahs and Islamic boarding schools require the support of quality facilities and infrastructure as a physical and instrumental foundation in supporting an effective and holistic learning process. This study aims to examine effective strategies for managing and improving the quality of facilities and infrastructure in Islamic educational units. to determine the effect of quality management of facilities and infrastructure on the quality of the learning process in Islamic educational units. This study uses a literature study method (library research) with documentation techniques and data analysis through reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions from relevant sources. The results of the study indicate that quality management of facilities and infrastructure which includes planning, procurement, maintenance, supervision, and utilization of technology and cross-sector collaboration, has a significant effect on creating a conducive learning environment. Good facilities and infrastructure support increased motivation, welfare, and student achievement as well as the effectiveness of teacher teaching. Thus, quality management of educational facilities must be an integral part of the overall strategy for improving the quality of Islamic education, which balances academic goals and character building.

Abstract

This study aims to delve deeper into the subject of samsarah in insurance marketing, with a specific focus on family takaful insurance companies. The research methodology involves conducting a literature review by collecting relevant materials and examining all sources pertaining to the laws of family takaful insurance. Subsequently, the collected data will be carefully analyzed to distinguish between information considered accurate and inaccurate. The findings of this study indicate that the system employed in family takaful is genuinely based on cooperation (tabarru). Family takaful insurance applies a risk-sharing principle that is materialized through the collection of tabarru funds, fostering solidarity, mutual protection, and strong bonds among participants. The role of a family takaful insurance agent extends beyond merely selling takaful products. They provide valuable assistance by sharing information with insurance participants. This may include organizing workshops that highlight the advantages and benefits of family takaful insurance. These workshops serve to enhance participants' understanding and confidence in the knowledge conveyed by sharia-compliant insurance agents, thereby increasing awareness of the significance of the benefits associated with family takaful insurance.
