Abstract

Efforts to increase food production always receive attention because the need for rice continues to increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of factors forming attitudes with the attitude of farmers to the failure of production of lowland rice farming in Magepanda Village, Magepanda Subdistrict, Sikka District. The type of research used in this study is quantitative descriptive research and correlation. Quantitative is data that is measured in a numeric (number) with the aim of testing a predetermined hypothesis. The data used in this study are primary data. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the attitude of farmers towards production failure in the farm group of Desa Magepanda, using the fishbein analysis method based on six attributes obtained an average score of 85.17 which is categorized as positive. This means that the attitude of farmers in the Magepanda village farmer group accepts production failure as a motivation for the sustainability of their production activities. The results of the Analysis of Determination Coefficient (R2) are 0, 185 which means that the contribution of the variable farmer attitude (X) to production failure (Y) in the farmer group in Magepanda Village is 18.5%. while the remaining 81.5% is explained by other variables not included in this research model. The results of simple linear regression analysis can be seen that the farmer attitude variable (X) is obtained: -2,613 <- 2,042, so Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the attitude of farmers (X) has a significant effect on production failure (Y).

Abstract

Labor can increase shallot's production because Labor is a tool to carry out the production process. The aim to analyze the role of Labor in increasing Shallot Production. Research adapted descriptive research, the data carried out by researchers from library research and field research. The data sources from respondents, and also from the research implementation 01 October-01 November 2021. Furthermore, the data collection methods used were observation and questionnaires by Descriptive Analysis Method and Spearman Rank Correlation Test Analysis. The results found that the role of Labor in increasing the productivity of shallot plants in the Unipa garden was classified as very important based on two indicators consisting of Labor and increased production, which had been researched on 30 respondents and the results of the correlation test that had been conducted, it can be seen a positive and significant value relationship between Role of Labor and the Increase of Red Onion Production in the Gardens of the Faculty of Agriculture, Nusa Nipa University.

Abstract

Organic agriculture is becoming the newest agricultural sector high Community, and changes in developed and developing countries pay attention to health and the environment. The market of organic farm products is experiencing an increase in the world due to market demand. People today have healthy lifestyle habits that have become a measure of quality. To achieve a balance between busyness and exercise and regularly Eating food can start a healthy life. The further away the food contains chemical drugs or pesticides, the more likely it is to open a beneficial standard of living. This study aimed to analyze the behavior of buyers towards the decision to buy organic plant products in the garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nusa Nipa Maumere. This research was conducted from 01 October to 01 November 2020. The data collection technique used interviews made observations and filled out a questionnaire prepared by the researcher. Several thirty respondents were interested in data through the purposive sampling technique. The data analysis of this research used the Simple Linear Regression and t-test. The results obtained are the relationship between consumer behavior and the decision to buy an organic plant product has a significant effect, with the strength of the relationship between consumer behavior variables and the decision to purchase organic plant products is very strong and positive, meaning that if consumer behavior is improved, the decision to buy plant products organic also increases

Abstract

Sub-terminal agribusiness, marketing agencies or concept as a market that is well managed to increase added value to farmers, in addition to educating farmers improve the quality of its products, as well as change the mindset toward agribusiness and became one of the original sources of income of the region. This research aims to study the development of agribusiness sub-terminal, the factors that affect the role of man, money, machines, methods, market in the construction of sub terminal agribusiness and agribusiness development influence sub terminal of performance marketing and an increase in revenue. This research was conducted in the eastern region of sikka on seven districts (Kewapante, Hewokloang, Bola, Doreng, Waigete, Talibura, Waiblama), which is the producer of crop plantations. Determination of the number of respondents is based on the number of respondents with slovin methods as much as 98 people, retrieval technique using purposif method of sampling respondents. Data collection techniques include: observation, interviews, and documentation, and data analysis using the method of quantitative analysis with test PLS. The results showed that the role of the factor man, money, machines, methods, market development of sub terminal agribusiness is very high, with the highest factor is the role of money and the correlation between a factor and mutually binding is the highest factor method. Construction of the sub-terminal agribusiness is real and positive affect performance marketing, the biggest factor is the factor of influence machines and produc. Construction of the sub-terminal agribusiness is real and positive influence of income with respect to the measurement of each factor is a positive and very real. Machines and creativity factor is the factor that has the most influence is high. Influence directly the sub terminal of agribusiness marketing and income is very real, as are the direct influence of marketing revenue. The suggestions can be put forward: (1) the role of government and private institutions as well as in the repair of chain or a marketing system as long as it does not favour to farmers producing crops of farmer plantations mainly by improving the existing marketing systems and monitoring of market prices, (2) a binding between the joint government and private institutions in strengthening marketing, repair and construction of infra structure: roads, bridges, ports, storage sheds to grow smooth results marketing process, (3) need for cooperation by all parties both from the educational institutions/universities, governments and private institutions to assist farmers in improving usahataninya, and (4) sikka to government as soon as possible to build a sub terminal agribusiness which is one of the marketing agency that coordinated or arranged properly to improve marketing systems that have an impact on increased life and well-being of farmers ' lives.

Abstract

Organic food is food that is produced little or completely free from chemical elements in the form of fertilizers, pesticides, hormones, and drugs. Perception is the experience of learning about agriculture or the relationships obtained by inferring information and interpreting messages. Therefore, marketers must pay attention to the needs and tastes of consumers in order to face competition. The formulation of the problem in this study is how consumers' perceptions of the quality of organic horticultural plant products. The purpose of this study was to determine consumer perceptions of the quality of organic horticultural products in the Garden of Practice, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nusa Nipa Maumere. This research is a quantitative study with 30 respondents using data collection techniques in the form of a questionnaire. The data analysis used in this research is quantitative analysis and simple linear regression analysis. This research was conducted at the Practice Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nusa Nipa Maumere for 2 months, from 01 October to 04 December 2020. The results of this study indicate that there is no significant influence between consumer perceptions and the quality of organic products in the Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nusa Nipa Maumere. And there is a significant influence between consumer perceptions and the quality of organic products in the Garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nusa Nipa Maumere.

Abstract

The development of watermelon plants is widely sought by farmers in rural areas because it has a distinctive taste. Along with the increasing awareness of the community about the importance of a healthy lifestyle by consuming more fruits, the need for fresh fruits is increasing. This study aims to examine the attributes of watermelon which are consumer preferences or preferences in the Garden of Practice, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nusa Nipa. The basic method in this research is using descriptive method, and its implementation is by survey technique. The research location was chosen purposively. The sample was determined by convenience sampling method (coincidence sample) with a total of 50 respondents. The types of data used are primary data and secondary data. The analysis used is chi square analysis. The results of the chi square analysis showed that all watermelon fruit variables were significantly different at the 95% confidence level. This means that consumer preferences for watermelon are not the same or there are differences in consumer preferences for watermelons. Watermelon which is the consumer's preference is watermelon which has attributes; sweet taste, medium size, soft meat texture. Based on the results of the study, the suggestions that can be given are: producers should better maintain and improve the quality of the taste of watermelon because the fruit taste attribute is the attribute most considered by consumers in choosing watermelon, and should be able to provide more medium sized watermelons. and textured meat is tender.

Abstract

One of the agricultural sub-sectors that play an important role in the national economy is plantations. Coconut is one of Indonesia's potential plantation commodities. In the Indonesian economy, coconut is one of the strategic commodities because coconut plants have the ability to produce continuously throughout the year. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach, namely the data obtained in the form (words, pictures, behavior) are not stated in the form of numbers or statistical figures but in qualitative form which has a richer meaning than just numbers or frequency. This research was conducted to describe the community's perspective on coconut oil agricultural products from PCP Rotat sluice in Wairotang Village, East Alok District, Sikka Regency. The Wairotang village community has a very high perspective and strongly supports the production of PCP Rotat sluice coconut oil, this can be seen from the routine purchases for consumption purposes. The community's expectation for the Pintu Air coconut oil product at PCP Rotat is that all households in Sikka district will use PCP Rotat coconut oil

Abstract

Cucumber (Cucumis Sativus L.) is a horticultural plant originating from Asia, specifically from India (Rukmana, 1994). In 1882, de Condolle included this plant in the list of native plants of India. The data collected in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained through direct interviews with consumers using questionnaires that have been prepared previously. While secondary data is data obtained from literature searches such as books, internet, thesis, data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Sikka Regency and other agencies related to this research. Strengths in cucumber development strategy: have organizational structure and vision, clear mission, good road and transportation access, available production facilities and infrastructure, supportive land conditions for cucumber cultivation, can make organic fertilizers and vegetable pesticides, good quality organic cucumbers. Weaknesses in the cucumber development strategy, namely: not having a good planting plan, unstable organic cucumber production, lack of promotional activities. Opportunities in cucumber development strategy.

Abstract

Tuna fish is one of the commodities that easily undergo decay therefore the household industry KUB Kembang Baru Nangahure does various kinds of processing including processing tuna into tuna jerky. The purpose of this study is to find out the income earned from tuna jerky business in the kub kembang baru nangahure household industry in KelurahanWuring, West Alok Subdistrict, Sikka Regency and also to find out the feasibility of tuna jerky business in KUB Kembang Baru Nangahure. Based on the results of research on the kub kembang baru nangahure household industry, it was concluded that the total cost of receipts obtained by KUB Kembang Baru was Rp. 6,250,000 and then the total production cost incurred amounted to Rp. 4,900,000, so that the total revenue is reduced by the total cost after processing income obtained by the kub kembang baru nangahure household industry that produces tuna jerky Rp. 1,350,000. Tuna jerky business in the household industry KUB Kembang Baru Nangahure seen from the Revenue Cost Ratio this business is worth trying because the value of R / C is greater than one which is 1.27
