Agricultural extension workers have an important role in supporting agricultural development, with the main task of conveying information and providing technical guidance to farmers. Agricultural extension workers not only solve technical problems for farmers, but also function to support the social welfare of the community. This study aims to analyze the role of agricultural extension workers in controlling rat pests in rice farming in Tompong Patu Village, Kahu District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi. Through a four-month internship and certified independent study program (MSIB), this activity involves identifying regional potential, counseling on rice cultivation and pest control. The research method uses quantitative data analysis with simple linear regression techniques and validity analysis using a Likert scale. The results of the study showed that the role of extension workers in providing socialization and guidance materials was very effective, with a validity level reaching 95.41%. Farmers also showed positive changes in their behavior towards controlling rat pests, with the same level of validity. This extension program succeeded in increasing farmers' knowledge and skills, and had a positive impact on agricultural productivity.

Shallots (Allium Cepa L.) is one of the horticultural commodities that has an important role in the economy. Increasing shallot production is one of the main focuses in efforts to achieve food security and farmers' welfare. Labor is a very important production factor and needs to be taken into account in the production process and not only seen from the availability of labor but also its quality. The purpose of this study is to determine the Effect of Labor Productivity on the Production of Shallot Plants (Allium cepa L.) in the Practice Garden, Faculty of Agricultural and Fisheries Food Technology, University of Nusa Nipa. Based on the results of research on the Practice Garden of the Faculty of Agricultural and Fisheries Food Technology, University of Nusa Nipa, the conclusion was obtained that Labor Productivity has a positive effect on the production of shallot plants This means that every increase or performance of Labor Productivity will increase crop yields or onion crop production. This is reinforced and supported by the value of sig. smaller than the alpha value of 0.000 < 0.05 This means that Labor Productivity has a positive and significant effect on the production of shallot crops. Furthermore, it can be seen that the result of t calculation is greater than the t of the table, which is 5,346 > 1,701, meaning that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is a modified version of traditional coconut oil production, resulting in a product with low water content and low free fatty acid levels. It is clear in color, has a pleasant aroma, and boasts numerous benefits. The purpose of this study is to enhance the value of coconut as a primary commodity in tropical regions. This process creates opportunities for empowering local communities through small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), reducing waste, and supporting environmentally friendly production practices. The VCO produced not only meets local market demands but also holds great potential as an export product, catering to the global trend for natural and organic products. Research on the processing and production of VCO concludes that Virgin Coconut Oil is a coconut derivative with numerous benefits and high economic value. Its simple production process, which uses natural ingredients without chemicals, preserves essential nutrients such as lauric acid, vitamin E, and fatty acids. Compared to regular coconut oil, VCO offers several advantages, including longer shelf life, superior oil quality, and significant health benefits such as antimicrobial and antiviral properties. In addition to its health benefits, VCO contributes to beauty care, including moisturizing skin and hair and addressing various skin issues. Economically, VCO creates opportunities for community empowerment through SMEs, supports eco-friendly production, and has the potential to become a leading export product in the global market.

Agricultural extension workers are individuals engaged in the agricultural sector with highly significant responsibilities for farmers and farmer groups. Their role involves providing guidance and motivation to help farmers enhance their ability to manage natural resources, increase knowledge, and develop skills to foster behavioral change. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of the role of agricultural extension workers on the behavior of cocoa farmers in the Meten Ler Farmer Group, Bloro Village, Nita Subdistrict, Sikka Regency. Based on the research conducted on the Meten Ler Farmer Group, the study concludes that the role of agricultural extension workers has a positive influence on farmers' behavior. This means that improvements in the effectiveness of extension workers' roles lead to enhanced effectiveness in farmers' behavioral performance. This finding is supported by a significance value (sig.) smaller than the alpha value, i.e., 0.000 < 0.05, indicating that the role of extension workers has a positive and significant impact on farmers' behavior. Furthermore, the t-value (t calculated) exceeds the t-table value (2.4229 > 1.697), resulting in the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and the acceptance of the alternative hypothesis (Ha). This demonstrates that the role of extension workers within the Meten Ler Farmer Group has a positive and significant impact on farmers' behavior.

The purpose of this study is to provide a deeper understanding of the production of Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) using the sedimentation method and to explore the economic and social potential that VCO production offers to the community. Based on the results of VCO production activities in Ribang Village, Koting Subdistrict, it can be concluded that Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO) is a coconut derivative product with numerous benefits and high economic value. Marketing Performance is a parameter to assess the success or failure of a business, because the ultimate goal of the production process is sales in the hope of getting a profit. Shallot marketing is an activity of delivering shallot commodities from farmers to consumers with the aim of getting value for money in return for the results of the commodity. The purpose of this study is to determine the analysis of shallot marketing in the practice garden of the Faculty of Food Technology, Agriculture and Fisheries, Nusa Nipa University. The analysis method used in this study is descriptive, which is a method that knows and provides an overview of primary data and secondary data that have been collected. The results showed that: 1). Shallot marketing in the practice garden of the faculty of agricultural food technology and fisheries there are three marketing channels, namely: in Marketing channel I, producers sell their shallots to consumers, in marketing channel II, producers sell their shallots to retailers then from retailers sold to consumers and Marketing channel III, farmers sell to collecting traders then from collecting traders resell them to wholesalers Then wholesalers sell to retailers, after which they are marketed to consumers. 2). If you see that the most efficient onion marketing channel is in marketing channel II by 6.76%. Keywords: consumer satisfaction, cost efficiency.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) gender dan pembangunan pertanian di kelompok tani Sumber Wangi, Dusun Gehak Reta, Desa Koting D merupakan salah satu pogram mata kuliah pada program studi agribisnis khususnya peminatan penyuluhan. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk mengatasi kesenjangan gender dalam rantai nilai pertanian dan meningkatkan hasil dan pendapatan pertanian yang di kelola oleh perempuan. Dalam kegiatan ini metode yang digunakan yaitu melakukan sosialisasi kepada kelompok tani Sumber Wangi Gehak Reta, bertema Gender dan revolusi jasa pertanian, anggaran prespektff gender dan kebijakan yang berpresprektif dan kajian mengenai gender dan pasar pertanian . Hasil dari pogram sosialisasi ini dapat diketahui pentingnya peran perempuan dan laki-laki dapat tertampung sehingga keduanya dapat menikmati hasil pembangunan secara berimbang. Oleh Karena itu disimpulkam bahwa pogram pengabdian kepada masyarakat dari mahasiswa Agribisnis Universitas Nusa Nipa memberikan dampak positif dalam memperjuangkan ketahanan kesetaraan gender dalam pembangunan pertanian Di Desa Koting D. Melalui kolaborasi aktif antara mahasiswa dan kelompok tani Sumber Wangi, pogram pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat ilmu pengetahuan tentang gender dalam pertanian tetapi juga meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat tentang pentingnya gender dalam pembangunan pertanian.

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat bertujuan untuk menganalisis pemasaran padi ciherang pada kelompok tani Gaging Gatang yang ada di Dusun Solot, Desa Tebuk, Kecamatan Nita, Kabupaten Sikka. Pemasaran hasil adalah salah satu hal pokok yang perlu diperhatikan dalam rangka meningkatkan pendapatan dan kesejahteraan petani. Sehingga strategi pemasaran sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani. Data yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah observasi, dokumentasi, data primer dan data sekunder. Observasi adalah pengumpulan data dengan melakukan pengamatan langsung dilapangan, dokuemntasi adalah cara untuk menyediakan gambar-gambar kegiatan, data primer di peroleh dari wawancara pada 18 orang petani sedangkan data sekunder diperoleh dari pembukuan kelompok tani Gaging Gatang. Metode analisis data yaitu analisis saluran pemasaran, lembaga pemasaran, margin pemasaran, dan biaya pemasaran. Dengan adanya kegiatan ini dapat memberikan pertimbangan dan perbaikian untuk kelompok tani Gaging Gatang dalam menjual hasil pertanian yang diperoleh agar dapat memperoleh kesejahteraan. Dalam kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan kelompok tani Ganging Gatang selama ini belum memperoleh keuntungan dikarenkan rantai pemasaran yang panjang yang berupa: Petani (produsen) ke Pedagang Pengepul menuju Pedagang Pengecer kemudian terakhir ke Konsumen. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin panjang rantai pemasaran padi ciherang maka semakin sedikit pula pendapatan yang diperoleh sebaliknya semakin pendek rantai pemasaran padi ciherang maka petani akan mendapatkan kentungan maksimal. Target dari kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat pada kelompok tani Gaging Gatang, Dusun Solot, Desa Tebuk, Kecamatan Nita, Kabupaten Sikka, yaitu harapannya dengan dilakukannya analisis pemasaran padi ciherang maka dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan petani terkait teknik pemasaran yang tepat dalam rangka meningkatkan pendapatan petani.

Hortikultura adalah salah satu sektor pertanian yang sangat penting dalam pembangunan dan ekonomi suatu negara. Budidaya tanaman hortikultura bukan hanya memenuhi kebutuhan pangan, tetapi juga berperan strategis dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan petani serta menjaga keberlanjutan lingkungan. subyek penelitian sebagai informan, yang artinya orang yang pada latar penelitian yang dimanfaatkan untuk memberikan informasi tentang situasi dan kondisi latar penelitian. Adapun subyek dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala kebun dan karyawan yang bekerja di Kebun Praktek FTP3. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan, peran peran Fakultas Tanaman Pangan, Pertanian dan Perikanan dalam pengembangan tanaman hortikultura dikebun praktek Kelurahan Kota Uneng, Kecamatan Alok sebagai fasilitator, motivator dan edukator dalam pengembangan kelompok tani berada pada kategori baik dengan skor 4,14.
