Abstract

ABSTRAKBahasa Inggris menjadi salah satu keterampilan yang harus dikuasai oleh mahasiswa agar dapat terjun ke dunia kerja global. Banyak perusahaan mensyaratkan penguasaan bahasa asing, salah satunya adalah bahasa Inggris. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) mengadakan uji kompetensi bahasa Inggris Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) untuk mahasiswa tingkat akhir sebagai salah satu syarat kelulusan. Namun, permasalahan utama yang dihadapi mahasiswa yang akan mengikuti tes tersebut adalah mereka belum mengetahui TOEIC. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan mitra tentang TOEIC melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan TOEIC yang melibatkan 65 mahasiswa Polije. Hasil dari pelatihan TOEIC menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa dapat (1) meningkatkan pemahaman tentang TOEIC, (2) mengimplementasikan strategi yang sesuai dalam mengerjakan soal TOEIC, (3) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan Bahasa Inggris mereka. Kegiatan serupa direkomendasikan melibatkan lebih banyak mahasiswa di lingkungan Polije agar mahasiswa Polije lebih siap mengikuti uji kompetensi bahasa Inggris dan bersaing di dunia global. Kata kunci: pelatihan; TOEIC; komunikasi; keterampilan; bahasa inggris. ABSTRACTEnglish is one of the skills that must be mastered by students in order to enter the global world of work. Many companies require mastery of foreign languages, one of which is English. To answer this challenge, Politeknik Negeri Jember (Polije) held an English competency test; Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) for senior students as one of their graduation requirements. However, the main problem faced by students who took the test was that they knew nothing about TOEIC. The purpose of this community service activity was to improve the students’ knowledge about TOEIC through TOEIC socialization and training, which involved 65 students. The results of the TOEIC training showed that the students could (1) improve their understanding about TOEIC, (2) implement appropriate strategies in working on TOEIC questions, (3) improve their English skills. Similar activities are recommended by involving more students in Polije so that students of Polije are better prepared to take the English language competency test and compete in the global world..Keywords: training; TOEIC; communication; skills; english.

Abstract

The aim of this study is to evaluate the current situation of adaptive physical education learning using the Merdeka Curriculum. The research method used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach, involving a number of adaptive physical education (APE) teachers who were active at Tamanwinnagun Kebumen State Special School as respondents. Data collection instruments consist of documentation sheets, observations and unstructured interviews. The results of the research show that physical education teachers observe that the lack of implementation can provide input to improve the implementation of adapted adaptive physical education learning in special schools, so that the obstacles faced can be overcome effectively. Data analysis is presented in four dimensions, namely the dimensions of learning models, learning methods, learning media, and learning facilities and infrastructure. However, the use of observation rubrics in analyzing results is not yet fully standardized. In conclusion, adaptive physical education learning at the Tamanwinnagun Kebumen State SLB which uses the independent curriculum is carried out by considering the students' needs and situations.

Abstract

In the current digital era, mastering information technology and foreign language skills is very important to prepare the younger generation to face challenges throughout the world, but at SDN Kaliputih there are no special subjects and there are only extracurriculars about information and communication technology (ICT). Meanwhile, English subjects are only given to grades one and four. Based on the problems faced by SD N Kaliputih, UMNU Kebumen students and lecturers held basic training activities on the use of Ms.Office which focused on Microsoft Word and English for class IV students. This training was attended by 23 students consisting of men and women. This activity aims to see the impact of basic Microsoft Word and English training on improving the skills of class IV students at Kaliputih State Elementary School. Activities are carried out using qualitative descriptive methods and direct practice. From the results of the activities we carried out we got results: students mastered the various menus or displays provided by Microsoft Word and were able to operate them well. For the English training itself, the students seemed to enjoy and be more confident in speaking English vocabulary than before. This training is very useful for elementary school students to increase insight and knowledge about the Microsoft Word application and increase English vocabulary, so that students are able to hone their skills by following developments in digital technology and correct English pronunciation.

Abstract

This study was conducted to find out whether or not there was a correlation between learning achievement of reading skill and writing skill. This study was a comparative study to determine the relationship between variables that cannot be done experimentally because the independent variables had worked and had an influence on the dependent variable (effect). The subjects of this study were all students of the English Study Program for Semester 1 and 2 Academic Year 2018/2019. They were 80 students who have taken reading courses (Literal Reading and Interpretive Reading) and writing courses (Paragraph Writing and Essay Writing). The data collection method used in this study were observation and documentation. The data obtained was analyzed by using Correlation Test and Significance Test. The result of this study showed that reading skill had a positive relationship with writing skill. The Correlation Coefficient (r) or r-count of the reading skill and writing skill was 0.897. It can be concluded that there was a positive relationship between the students’ reading skill and writing skill.

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze and test the role of employees' well-being in mediating the effect of work stress and job insecurity on the performance of health workers at RSU Anwar Medika – Sidoarjo during the COVID-19 pandemic. Explanatory research is a type of research used with a quantitative approach and data collection methods using survey methods Types of research using explanatory research types survey methods by giving questionnaires to 187 health workers as respondents. The SEM-PLS method is used in data analysis and testing with the help of the SmartPLS 3 application program. The results of direct tests are known that work stress has an insignificant negative influence on the performance of health workers, job insecurity has a negative and significant effect on the performance of health workers, and employees' well-being has a positive and significant effect on the performance of health workers. Work stress has a negative and significant effect on employees' well-being, and job insecurity has a negative and significant effect. The results of indirect influence testing with the results that employees' well-being is unable to mediate the effect of work stress on the performance of health workers negatively and insignificantly, while the effect of job insecurity on the performance of health workers employees' well-being can mediate negatively and significantly.

Abstract

Pentingnya menimba ilmu untuk masadepan yang lebih baik, apalagi jika siswa memiliki prestasi, namun harus berhenti di tengah jalandikarenakan tidak memiliki biaya. Universitas Islam Lamongan memberikan beasiswa kepadasiswa yang berprestasi dan tidak mampu. Pemberian beasiswa berdasarkan kriteria yangsudah ditetapkan kemudian dilakukan perankinganmenggunakan excel. Berdasarkan masalah tersebut, akan dibuat sistem pendukung keputusanpenerimaan beasiswa menggunakan metodeMultinomial Naive Bayesdan mengukur tingkat akurasi dari sistem yang telah dibuat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah membuat sistem pendukungkeputusan penerimaan beasiswa menggunakanmetodeMultinomialNaive Bayes. Sistem pendukungkeputusan merupakan penyelesaian dari suatu masalah yang ada. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Multinomial Naive Bayesyang merupakan metode terbaik dari kalangan klasifikasi. Data yang digunakan dalam perhitungan adalah data kriteria siswa dari tahun sebelumnya yang diperoleh dari rumah beasiswa Universitas Islam Lamongan. Perhitungan MultinomialNaive Bayesdilakukan dengan mencari probabilitas setiap kategori kemudian dicari nilai yang tertinggi. Nilai tertinggimerupakan hasil dari perhitungan. Berdasarkan perhitungan yang telah dilakukan sistem pendukung keputusan penerimaan beasiswa menggunakan metode MultinomialNaive Bayesmemiliki tingkat akurasi sebesar 92,73%. Tingkat akurasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa sistem pendukung keputusan penerimaan beasiswa menggunakan metode Multinomial Naive Bayessangat layak digunakan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and examine the role of employees' well-being in mediating the effect of work stress and job insecurity on the performance of health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research is explanatory research with data collection methods using survey methods through distributing questionnaires. Respondents in this study were 187 health workers who worked in a hospital in East Java, Indonesia. Data analysis using Partial Least Square. The results showed that work stress had a negative and insignificant effect on the performance of health workers, job insecurity had a negative and significant effect on the performance of health workers, while employees' well-being had a positive and significant effect on the performance of health workers. Job stress has a negative but not significant effect on employees' wellbeing and job insecurity has a negative and significant effect on employees' wellbeing. The results of testing the indirect effect show that employees' well-being is not able to mediate the effect of work stress on the performance of health workers in a negative and insignificant way, while the effect of job insecurity on the performance of health workers employees' well-being is able to mediate negatively and significantly  The conclusion of this research is that work stress, job insecurity, and employees' wellbeing are very important for improving performance.

Abstract

Akses terhadap air bersih dan aman sangat penting untuk menjaga kehidupan, mendukung ekosistem, dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan manusia. Namun, sumber-sumber air di seluruh dunia semakin terancam oleh polusi, aktivitas industri, dan perubahan lingkungan. Pemantauan kualitas air secara real-time menjadi sangat penting untuk memastikan ketersediaan air minum yang aman dan melindungi lingkungan perairan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang alat yang mampu secara real-time memantau kondisi air di proyek WESLIC dengan menggunakan teknologi Internet of Things (IoT). Alat ini menggunakan sensor pH-4502C untuk mengukur tingkat keasaman dan kebasaan air, dan data kemudian dikirim ke platform Internet of Things (IoT) melalui perangkat ESP8266. Data ini dapat diakses melalui web atau smartphone. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah sebuah alat yang mampu memantau nilai pH air menggunakan sensor pH-4502C dan menampilkan data melalui aplikasi Blynk. Hasil perbandingan antara nilai sensor pH meter analog dan pH meter digital menunjukkan perbedaan yang tidak signifikan. Analisis hasil pengujian menghasilkan rata-rata presentasi kesalahan sebesar 1,79%, dengan tingkat akurasi sensor pH sebesar 98,21%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa sensor pH berfungsi dengan baik dan dapat melakukan pemantauan melalui aplikasi Blynk, dengan mengirimkan pemberitahuan jika pH air berada di bawah 6 atau di atas 8. Hasil pemantauan dapat divisualisasikan melalui aplikasi Blynk pada smartphone

Abstract

Mobil listrik Surya Unisla merupakan kendaraan yang menggunakan baterai sebagai sumber tenaganya dan menggunakan motor BLDC sebagai penggeraknya. Perawatan baterai tidak dapat diabaikan karena baterai merupakan bagian utama dari mobil listrik. Tegangan baterai yang tidak terpantau dengan baik dapat mengakibatkan penurunan kinerja dan umurbaterai. Oleh sebab itu, dibutuhkan monitoring kapasitas baterai pada mobil listrik surya unisla. Metode pembuatan sistem mencakup penggunaan modul GPS NEO-6 untuk pelacakan posisi kendaraan, rangkaian pembagi tegangan untuk membaca tegangan baterai, dan sensor arus ACS785 untuk mengukur arus yang mengalir dari baterai kekontroler motor. Hasil pembacaan tersebut kemudian diolah menggunakan mikrokontroler ESP32 sehingga didapatkan keluaran berupa tegangan baterai, pesentase, dan lokasi kendaraan. Hasil keluaran berbentuk data selanjutnya dikirim ke firebase dengan menghubungkan ke Wifi kemudian ditampilkan pada aplikasi yang telah di desain menggunkan kodular. Sistem memiliki  rata-rata eror pembacaan latitude awal rute  0,003 dan akhir rute 0,003, rata-rata eror pembacaan  longitude awal rute 0,0004 akhir rute 0,0004. Hasil pembacaan tegangan baterai dijadikan pesentase, ketika tegangan baterai 60 volt maka persentasenya 100% dan ketika tegangan baterai 56 volt atau lebih kecil pesentasenya 0%. Abstract

Klasifikasi kualitas biji kopi merupakan langkah penting dalam menjaga mutu dan konsistensi produk kopi, terutama di sektor industri dan agribisnis. Penilaian kualitas secara manual seringkali bersifat subjektif, sehingga dibutuhkan pendekatan berbasis teknologi untuk memberikan hasil yang lebih objektif. Penelitian ini mengusulkan penggunaan arsitektur Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) ResNet50 untuk mengklasifikasikan citra biji kopi berdasarkan tingkat sangraian, yaitu Dark, Medium, Light, dan Green. Dataset yang digunakan terdiri dari 1.600 citra biji kopi, dibagi menjadi data pelatihan (1.200 gambar) dan validasi (400 gambar). Model dikembangkan dengan memanfaatkan bobot pralatih ResNet50 dari ImageNet dengan seluruh layer dasar dibekukan, dan ditambahkan lapisan GlobalAveragePooling2D, Dense, BatchNormalization, Dropout, serta output layer softmax. Pelatihan dilakukan tanpa preprocessing atau augmentasi data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model mampu mencapai akurasi sebesar 99%, dengan precision, recall, dan f1-score yang tinggi dan seimbang pada seluruh kelas. Model kemudian diimplementasikan dalam aplikasi berbasis web menggunakan Streamlit yang memungkinkan pengguna mengunggah citra biji kopi dan memperoleh hasil klasifikasi secara otomatis. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ResNet50 efektif untuk mendukung proses penilaian kualitas biji kopi secara cerdas, serta dapat dikembangkan lebih lanjut untuk penerapan di industri.
