Abstract

The implementation of a particular government service or function is no longer dominated by one party (namely the government). This means that the partnership and cooperation process must be further encouraged by reducing the role of government on the one hand, and strengthening the role of the private sector and society on the other hand. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of fiscal decentralization, budget allocation, economic capacity on community welfare, determine the influence of fiscal decentralization on community welfare through budget allocation and economic capacity, determine the influence of budget governance on community welfare through budget allocation and economic capacity in Sulawesi Province West. This research uses a quantitative approach, with a case study of local governments in the West Sulawesi Province which includes six districts. The data collection technique is carried out by document study, using secondary data originating from related agencies or from websites through internet browsing and other documentation. The data analysis technique uses SmartPLS analysis. The findings show that fiscal decentralization has a negative impact on community welfare. Budget governance has a negative influence on community welfare. Budget allocation can influence an increase in community welfare. Economic capacity can improve community welfare. Budget allocation can mediate the effect of fiscal decentralization on community welfare. Economic capacity can mediate the effect of fiscal decentralization on community welfare. Budget allocation cannot mediate the influence of budget governance on community welfare, while economic capacity can mediate the influence of budget governance on community welfare, especially in West Sulawesi Province.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of principal leadership, teacher competence, and work discipline on teacher performance with work motivation as a mediating variable. The method used is quantitative with SEM-PLS analysis techniques. The population consists of 136 teachers, with a sample of 85 teachers. The results of the study indicate that teacher competence has a significant effect on teacher performance, while principal leadership, work discipline, and work motivation are not significant. Work motivation is also not proven to be a mediator. The implication is that it is recommended to focus on improving teacher competence.

Abstract

Pandemi Covid-19 telah berlangsung lebih dari setahun dan masih belum menunjukkan tanda-tanda akan segera berakhir. Dampaknya sangat luas dan mempengaruhi berbagai sektor, termasuk UKM. Para pelaku usaha tersebut secara langsung mengalami penurunan omzet bahkan menutup usahanya. Sebagai upaya untuk mengurangi atau mengatasi dampak pandemi di sektor UKM, kampus bisa menjadi motor penggerak. Universitas Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa melalui kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat tidak ketinggalan juga berkontribusi, namun dengan mempertimbangkan situasi pandemi dan pembatasan kegiatan masyarakat secara langsung dengan jangkauan yang luas dan untuk memutus penyebaran Covid-19 maka digunakan strategi webinar online, yaitu peluang dan tantangan yang dihadapi oleh UKM di Indonesia. di tengah pandemi yang memberikan solusi terbaik.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Good Corporate Governance, which consists of the board of directors, independent commissioners, and audit committees, as well as the effect of ownership structure, which consists of managerial ownership and institutional ownership, on financial performance. The population used is all banking sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2020 to 2024. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the criteria of companies that published complete financial reports, experienced profits, and had complete data in accordance with the research variables during the period from 2020 to 2024, as well as companies that had complete data in accordance with the research variables. The sample obtained was 110 observations. The data source used was secondary data, with the data collection method using documentation. The data analysis technique used was panel data linear regression using e-views version 12. The results showed that the board of directors had a significant effect on financial performance, independent commissioners had no significant effect on financial performance, the audit committee had a significant effect on financial performance, managerial ownership had a significant effect on financial performance, and institutional ownership had a significant effect on financial performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of tax planning, intellectual capital and CSR on earnings management. As a research sample, 20 companies from 125 companies in the consumer goods industry sector listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange were used. Data comes from annual reports released between 2021 and 2023. Multiple regression analysis was used to create a regression model for this study. The results of the study indicate that CSR affects earnings management, while Tax Planning and Intellectual Capital do not affect earnings management. Managerial Ownership can moderate the effect of CSR on earnings management, where Managerial Ownership cannot moderate effect of Tax Planning and Intellectual Capital earnings management. Re-research on earnings management is important as the practice can affect corporate transparency and accountability and impact investment and financial decisions. Research is needed to understand factors that influence earnings management and devise strategies that can prevent the harmful practice.
