The research problems were finding out the process of flowing water in drawing on Novels, investigating the correlation with automatic drawing, and exploring the types of expressions generated from year to year. Some theories used as the basis were the psychology of art and the method of creating MAL in the exploration process. Collecting data was done through observation, implementation, and literature study. The data analysis model was formal and informal. The results showed that human artists have a subconscious space with the potential to produce visual language. Abstract

A unique and interesting creative process using banana blossom sap as a medium. Banana flower sap has specific characteristics compared to other synthetic colors. Banana flower sap tends to display typical milky white, gray, light brown, yellowish-green, red and dark brown colors. Painting using banana blossoms starts from picking the banana blossom. Exploration of the technique of cutting the stem of the banana flower until the sap oozes out and drips onto the canvas. Since then I have been practicing spontaneously using banana sap, involving movements of my fingers, pressing the banana flower gently, medium and hard. The effect of the pressure of the banana flower sap produces natural colors, according to the intensity of the movement of the fingers on the canvas. The method used is carried out spontaneously, following the stages of the art creation process (E4): Existence, Exploration, Experimentation and Evaluation. Realization (E4) represents the existence of my creative process. Utilization of fine art elements such as light, point, line, space, plane, color, texture and composition. The resulting works of art include the following titles: Banana Sap Color 1, Banana Sap Color 2, Banana Sap Color 3, and so on. The use of banana blossom sap is driven by the need to express the soul in order to produce new works of art of high quality and have high aesthetic values

Abstract

Ancient mythologies of the Indonesian archipelago are frequently positioned as static didactic narratives. This study aims to recontextualize the legend of Sangkuriang into a new media art platform through an interactive digital mosaic installation. Employing a qualitative, practice-led research methodology, the name "Sangkuriang" is philosophically deconstructed into the conceptual framework of Sangka-Ku-Riang, a representation of the human ego's erroneous illusion of absolute control over reality and desire. This conceptual transformation is empirically articulated into visual computation parameters using the WebGL library, wherein the character's psychological dynamics are translated through fluctuations in fluid mosaic particle movement, geometric grid density, and lighting manipulation. The findings demonstrate that glitch art aesthetics specifically micro-stuttering and total system crashes effectively serve as semiotic signifiers to communicate the main character's identity crisis and raw destructive emotions. The final phase of form-setting into a mountain silhouette reflects a contemplative aesthetic sublimation that locks data chaos into a space of stability. Culturally, this visual articulation aligns with the Sundanese cosmology of darmaning satria, which asserts that human egoistic ambition must ultimately submit to macrocosmic cosmic laws. This study offers a novel method for conserving traditional heritage, transforming it into a living digital entity that adapts critically to contemporary technological advancement.
