Abstract

This study aims to improve the Mathematics learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at UPT SDN 037 Karya Indah through the implementation of the cooperative learning model Group Investigation (GI). This Classroom Action Research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings. The research procedures included planning, action implementation, observation, and reflection. The instructional material focused on prism geometry in the first cycle and cylinder geometry in the second cycle. Data were collected through observations of teacher and student activities as well as assessments of student learning outcomes. The findings indicate a consistent improvement in learning mastery. Prior to the intervention, the mastery level was 33.33%. In cycle I, it increased to 63.33% in the first meeting and 73.33% in the second meeting. In cycle II, mastery rose to 80% in the first meeting and reached 86.67% in the second meeting. These results demonstrate that the Group Investigation model enhances student engagement, strengthens conceptual understanding, and significantly improves learning outcomes.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital memengaruhi pola belajar dan perilaku siswa SD, sehingga perlu penguatan literasi digital yang tidak hanya teknis, tetapi juga berbasis nilai karakter dan keislaman. Pengabdian ini bertujuan meningkatkan literasi digital bertanggung jawab pada siswa SDIT Bunayya Pekanbaru melalui pelatihan terstruktur dan partisipatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif-partisipatif pada siswa kelas IV–VI. Kegiatan dilaksanakan 27 Mei 2025 melalui sosialisasi, pelatihan, penerapan teknologi, pendampingan-evaluasi, dan perencanaan keberlanjutan. Materi meliputi privasi dan keamanan data, etika komunikasi digital, kemampuan membedakan hoaks dan fakta, serta integrasi nilai karakter dan keislaman. Data diperoleh dari pre-test dan post-test, observasi, refleksi siswa, dan dokumentasi. Hasil menunjukkan peningkatan pada seluruh aspek: privasi (42%→78%), etika (45%→80%), literasi hoaks (40%→76%), dan integrasi nilai (48%→82%), seluruhnya melampaui target minimal 70%. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa pelatihan berbasis pengalaman langsung, media interaktif, dan nilai keislaman efektif meningkatkan pemahaman, sikap, dan kesadaran siswa dalam menggunakan media digital secara aman dan bertanggung jawab.

Abstract

Scientific reasoning skills are fundamental skills that prospective teachers must possess to design and implement ideal science learning. However, science learning taught to students focuses predominantly on mastery of concepts and does little to train students' scientific reasoning skills. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the 7E cycle e-module integrated on technological knowledge in improving the scientific reasoning skills of prospective elementary school teachers. The method used was a quasi-experiment with two sample classes consisting of an experimental class (40 students) and a control class (38 students). The research instrument was a scientific reasoning test consisting of 20 questions. The data were analyzed using the N-Gain test, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing using an independent sample t-test. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and homogeneous. The N-Gain value for the experimental class was 0.71, which is in the high category, while that for the control class was 0.42, which is in the moderate category. The t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.02) with a calculated t-value of 7.84. This means that there was a significant difference in the improvement of scientific reasoning skills between the two classes. The conclusion is that the 7e cycle e-module integrated on technological knowledge is effective in improving the scientific reasoning abilities of prospective teacher students and has the potential to be an alternative teaching material for science learning in higher education
