Abstract

The research was motivated by the diverse motives of corporate in carrying out the activity of CSR. The interesting problem in this research is the existence of a partnership program since  2009. The partnership program more directed in the form of Bank Jateng CSR activities as a community development while the previous CSR activities only just a charity. This research is a qualitative study descriptive using the strategies case study. Data collection methods used is interviews, observations and document, to the withdrawal data or sample while using a technique of purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Total informants on this research has 9 people. A case study in this research is a partnership of the farm empowerment center bubakan in hamlet Kuncen village Bubakan Mijen sub-district , the city of Semarang,  With the main program durian kholil development.The results showed that the stages of implementation of CSR especially the partnership with Bank of Central Java program . There are three stages namely : (1) the planning stage (2) the stage of implementation (3) the evaluation phase. The largest obstacles from the three stages mentioned above is limited human resources in the management of CSR. To handle the problem, Bank Jateng asked for help with branches as well as communicate with its companion and partner under the jurisdiction. The conclusion of this research is the planning stage of Bank Jateng csr including into the Bottom Up Process. At this stage of the implementation of the Bank Jateng using two models named directly engagement and partnering with other parties. At this stage, the evaluation of Bank Jateng incorporates reporting within. CSR implementation (partnership program) on the SPT Bubakan can be said to have not been as community development, this is apparent from the community is not fully involved in the planning of activities.

Abstract

The increasing number of alternative choice of restaurants in the city of Semarang cause competition getting tougher.As a result, many businesses that compete in the business of restaurants.D'cost seafood restaurant is one of the options in the city of Semarang. The number of restaurants that serves a similar menu variety at low prices caused the number of visitors D'Cost experience fluctuations from year 2014-2016. This is demonstrated by a decrease in the number of visitors by 2014 to 2015 of 0.2% and by 2015 to 2016 experienced increases of 2%.The purpose of this research is to know the influence of the diversity of the menu, the price and brand image against consumer purchasing decisions D'Cost Seafood. This research type is explanatory research. Sampling techniques using a purposive Sampling method.As for the number of samples taken as many as 100 respondents. Data were analyzed through the test validity, reliability test, correlation coefficient, crosstab, determination of the coefficient of linear regression, simple, multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and with the help of the program SPSS.Based on the results of the descriptive analysis, showed the results of research that the diversity of the menu are on various categories of 59.0 percent. Variable rates are at a sufficient category, amounting to 48.0 percent. Brand image is variable in quality, category of 74.0 percent and the variable purchase decisions are high on the category, for 57.0 percent. Multiple correlation coefficient calculation based on yield value of 0.695 which means to have a strong correlation. Based on the calculation of the coefficient of determination indicates that the variable is the diversity of the menu, prices, and brand image contributed to the influence of 48.3 per cent against a purchasing decision.Suggestion in this research areproviding new menu variations according to the wishes of consumers. Improve the quality of the product and provide cheap package price promotions are also very necessary. In addition, the necessity of observing the tagline of which belonged to the "Mutu Bintang Lima Harga Kaki Lima" because according to the perceptions of the respondents, the tagline does not correspond to reality.

Abstract

Newspaper is one of the frequently used means of information society. One of the newspapers of interest by people in Semarang with prices that are not too expensive and with a good quality of product is the newspaper Suara Merdeka. But with the advent of many competitors, the Suara Merdeka newspaper sales decline. Becouse of that, this research aim to determine the influence of quality product to purchasing decisions and the influence of  price to purchasing decisions.The sampling technique used is Non-Probability Sampling and the sampling type used is Accidental Sampling. Sample in this research is 100 respondents consisting of Suara Merdeka consumers. Data analysis using analysis qualitative and quantitative with validity and reliability , simple regression analysis, double regression analysis, t test and f test with program spss 16.0 for windows.The results of research shows that there is a positive effect and significant between the product quality to purchasing decision amount 22,9 % and the price have positive effect and significant to purchasing decision amount 5.6 %.The price of Suara Merdeka worthy maintained becouse it is already adequate and not into consideration important for cunsumers to made the purchase.  The quality of product needs to be considered balance is the aspect of the news, neatness as well as clarity mold.

Abstract

The research was motivated by of the many various alternative options for transportation services, especially land transportation. However, bus still be excellent for most of Indonesian people as a driving option.The purpose of this research is to determine the influence of service quality and price to customer loyalty, through customer satisfaction of PO. Nusantara’s customer. The population is all passengers direction Solo-Jakarta of PO. Nusantara. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling.the analysis used in this research is the path analysis using with SPSS Program 18.0, which previously tested the validity and reliability, coefisien  Corelation,coefisien determination, simple linear regression and multiple linear regression.The results showed that the quality of service and price partially or simultaneously affect customer satisfaction and loyalty. Variable price gives greater influence on customer satisfaction and loyalty of the variable quality of service.Suggestions can be submitted is that the PO. Nusantara can improve the quality of services provided, especially regarding punctuality and time left to place the goal. While in pricing, in addition to the cost element, the company also must pay attention to the price set by competitors.

Abstract

Internal communication, labor compensation, and labor environment are the supporting factors in achieving higher labor satisfaction. When internal communication, labor compensation, and labor environment in a company are considered to be good, the rate of job satisfaction will be high so that the goal of a company could be achieved. The objective of this study is to investigate that there is an effect from internal communication, labor compensation, and labor environment toward job satisfaction In PT Kimia Farma Plant Semarang.The type of this study is explanatory research. The hypothesis used is internal communication (x1), labor compensation (x2), and labor environments (x3) have significant effect toward job satisfaction (y). The technique of data collection used questionnaire, interview, and literature study. The amount of respondents is 95 and all populations member could be made as respondents.The techniques of data analysis are validity study, reliability study, simple linear regression analysis and multiple linear regression analysis which is processed by SPSS 17 for Windows. The conclusion of this study is that internal communication the rate is to be good, labor compensation the rate is proper, and labor environment the rate is to be good toward job satisfaction in PT Kimia Farma Plant Semarang. The test result using SPSS showed that internal communication, labor compensation, and labor environments have positive effect high job satisfaction either simultaneously or partially. Suggestion that can be submitted is for the company to improve and increase the workplace condition especially in the production unit so that the employees feel calm and comfortable in the workplace, so as to have loyalty to bring satisfaction in working.

Abstract

The development of the banking sector has led to intense competition. Competition requires each bank vying to provide good service to its customers, both in the quality of the service-oriented customer satisfaction or customer (customer satisfaction). Therefore, a bank manager in achieving the objectives of the company must be able to determine the appropriate competitive strategy in creating customer satisfaction and perform management functions well.This study aims: To determine the influence of tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy toward customer satisfaction Simpeda Bank Branch Pemuda Semarang Central Java and to determine the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty Simpeda Bank Branch Pemuda Semarang Central Java.This type of research is quantitative research, with data collection through questionnaires. The sampling technique used judment sampling technique, the sample of 100 people who are customers of Bank Branch Youth in Semarang, Central Java. The method of analysis used in this study is the regression analysis, the validity and reliability.Based on the analysis, the conclusion is: There is the influence of tangibility, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, to customer satisfaction Simpeda Bank Branch Pemuda Semarang Central Java. There is the effect of customer satisfaction on customer loyalty Simpeda Bank Branch Pemuda Semarang Central Java.Suggestions that can be put forward in this study include the following: Should the Bank Branch Pemuda Semarang Central Java can further improve the quality of the fifth dimension pelayannnya as proven effect on client satisfaction and customer loyalty. This can be done by: adding facilities such as ATM, increasing the comfort of the lounge for example air conditioner cooler, do trining officers so that they can be more accurate in providing services and information to customers, rapid response in response to the complaint, the bank employee to be more concerned about the customer and perform up to date technology that increases customer satisfaction. In a subsequent study with a similar topic can be increased moderating variables or other variables that affect customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Labor or human resources have an important role in the company in order to achieve success.Therefore, companies must consider the factors that may affect the performance of employees, such ascompensation and working environment. Achievement of employee performance Patra Jasa Jakarta said notoptimal in which the employee's performance increased in 2012 but decreased performance in 2013. The aim ofthis study was to determine how the compensation, working conditions, and the performance of employees inPatra Jasa Jakarta, as well as to determine the effect of compensation and work environment either partially orsimultaneously on the performance of employees in Patra Jasa Jakarta. This type of research is "explanatoryresearch". The sampling technique used is nonprobability sampling with saturated sampling method that usesall members of the population that all employees (non-led) 120 people. In proving the hypothesis test was usedcorrelation analysis, coefficient determination test, regression test (simple and multiple), and a significance test(t test and F test) with SPSS 16.0. The survey results revealed that the variable compensation (X1) and theWorking Environment variable (X2) partially and simultaneously positive and significant impact on employeeperformance variable (Y). Partially and simultaneously, variable compensation (X1) provide a strongerinfluence on employee performance variable (Y) than the Working Environment variable (X2). Suggestions canbe submitted is the company can evaluate and improve the elements that can affect the performance ofemployees, such as compensation and working environment where opportunities are promoted. and conditionsof hygiene and neatness in the space / workplace still considered good by the employees. The company can alsoprovide regular training and guiding employees so that the level of errors made in the work can be minimizedas possible.

Abstract

This research was motivated by fact that there’s a high demand of fund distribution for consumtion or capital thai is safe, fast and easy. PD Pemalang BKK is one of the financial institutions that provide credit facilities for people. PD BKK Pemalang should be able to provide financial solutions for people who need. This study aims to determine the influence of service quality, interest rates and the location towards credit decision-making at PD BKK Pemalang. The sample in this research is 100 respondents who are debtors PD BKK Pemalang. This study used purposive sampling as a sampling technique. This type of research is quantitative research techniques of data collection using questionnaires. The analytical method used was simple and multiple regression analysis, the validity and reliability.Based on the result analysis, variable the quality of service, interest rates and locotion have a positive influence of the credit making decison. Variable the quality of service have the most influence is as much as 0,392.Variable interest rates have influence of 0,253 and variable locations have influence of 0,212.Simultaneously a variable the quality of service, interest rates and location having constributions amounting to 52.7 % of the credit decision-making. The conclusion of this research indicated that quality of service, interest rate and location partially and Simultaneously has an influence on the credit making decision.

Abstract

                     This research was motivated by the phenomenon of the development of services that controls 72 per cent and 67 per cent of gross domestic product ( GDP ) in developed countries around the world ( Christopher Lovelock , 2007: 7 ) . One of the services needed by society today is insurance . This is why the competition between insurance companies is very sharp which is characterized by the emergence of new insurance companies , so the competition will be intense . Life Insurance is one of the set of branches of AJB Bumiputera 1912 that provides insurance services to a group or collection and also always give the best to the policyholders . Bumiputera prove that the policyholder satisfaction on the product by obtaining Indonesian Customer Satisfaction Award ( ICSA ) , Top Brand Award , and gaining recognition as a leading insurance company in Indonesia for 10 consecutive years from 2003 until 2013 ( Company Profile AJB Bumiputera 1912 ) , but the achievement of policy from 2010 to 2013 never reached the target .                    The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of quality of service , reputation and price premiums to the policyholder 's decision in choosing the group life insurance products ( askum ) AJB Bumiputera 1912 Semarang . This type of research is explanatory research , with data collection through questionnaires and interviews . Sampling technique using purposive sampling technique . The sample in this study amounted to 76 respondents who are policyholders AJB Bumiputera 1912 Askum branch office in Semarang . This study used quantitative analysis techniques . Quantitative analysis using validity , reliability test , correlation coefficient , simple and multiple regression analysis , the coefficient of determination , tests of significance ( t test and F test ) with rock SPSS for windows version 20.0 .The results of this study indicate that the quality of service ( X1 ) , reputation ( X2 ) and the price premium ( X3 ) partially and simultaneously influence the purchase decision ( Y ) .                    Based on the research results , the researchers suggested that the company further improve the quality of care in the form of making the system claims handling standards , maintaining product quality and post various Bumiputera achievement on the internet in order to raise the reputation of the company as well as providing a policy to lower the insurance money so that premium rates can be quite low but still with good service and benefits are balanced so as to increase group life insurance purchasing decision AJB Bumiputera 1912 Semarang.

Abstract

The development of information technology can lead consumers to quickly find out information about the existence of a product. Companies are required to provide information about their products correctly so it gets a positive response from consumers. Marketing strategies do companies is to provide information to consumers through advertising. By using celebrity endorsers in advertising is expected to attract the attention of consumers and increase and can form brand image. The main problem in this research is about target that is never reached in 2011-2013 that is not optimal. This research aims to identify that the influence of celebrity endorser and the brand image of the decision the purchase of bath soap Lux.This study aims to determine the influence of service quality. Whith survey approach, which requires sample of population and questioner as a means of data collection. This research is conducted to 100 responders which buy “Lux” soap. Technique of sample is purposive sampling. The analysis method used is a correlation coefficient, the coefficients determined, linear regression simple, linear regression double, T test and F test with program SPSS version 20.Based on the result analysis, celebrity endorser and brand image are able to explain the variables of buying decision. Kontribution celebrity endorser of the buying decision as 36,4% and kontribution brand image of the buying decision as 18,5%. Celebrity endorser have value dominant as 0,528.The conclusion of this research indicated that celebrity endorserand brand image partially and simultaneously has an influence on the making decision “Lux” soap. Based on the result, PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk has to choose credible celebrity, maintan and improve the brand image of the company. Advice for PT. Unilever Indonesia, Tbk is retaining a celebrity who has the credibility of good and doing innovation to improve the brand image of a bath soap Lux.
