Abstract

Abstract

Let R be a commutative ring. The total graph of R, denoted by TΓ(R) is a graph whose vertices are all elements of the ring R and every i,j∈R with i≠j, then i and j vertices are connected by edges if and only if i+j∈Z(R), where Z(R) is the set of zero-divisors in R with 0∈Z(R). Python programming is code that is easy to learn, read, understand, and helpful in explaining problems regarding graphs and algebra. In this paper, we determine an algorithm to construct the total graph of ring Z_n using Python. The research methods in this paper is a literature studies. The results generated by the algorithm can be utilized to observe the characteristic patterns displayed by the graph. Based on the algorithm’s constructed graph pattern, several properties of TΓ(Z_n ) can be inferred. For instance, if n is a prime number, then TΓ(Z_n ) is a disconnected graph. On the other hand, if n is a prime number and n≥3, then TΓ(Z_2n ) and TΓ(Z_4n ) is a connected graph, regular graph, Hamiltonian graph, and has a girth gr(TΓ(〖Z〗_n ))=3. In this paper we creating an algorithm to construct total graphs from commutative rings streamlines the construction process, enhances accessibility and utilization of total graphs, and supports parameter variation exploration and application in problem-solving.

Abstract

Refurbishing is the process of processing used products into products with the quality of new products. Refurbishing can be done by the manufacturer itself (in-house) or the manufacturer can delegate the refurbishing process to other manufacturers (outsourcing). This research aims to construct an in-house refurbishing model and an outsourced refurbishing model, determine the optimum solution, analysis, and application so that optimum benefits are obtained, and compare the in-house refurbishing model and the outsourced refurbishing model. Multivariable function optimization is used to get optimum profit. Judging from the optimum production results, manufacturers who carry out in-house refurbishing choose a higher degree of interchangeability and produce more new products. Products with an interchangeability design are products that can be used to replace similar products with the same function. Based on economic benefits, manufacturers who carry out in-house refurbishing get greater profits than outsourcing refurbishing. Viewed from environmental sustainability, outsourcing refurbishing is more environmentally friendly than in-house refurbishing.

Abstract

This study explores the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the aesthetic quality and design innovation of creative products made from wood waste in Ngemplak District, Boyolali Regency, Indonesia. Local craftsmen in this area often face challenges in improving product appearance due to limited access to design tools and technological resources. By integrating AI-based design systems, such as generative design algorithms, image enhancement models, and style transfer techniques, artisans can develop more appealing, modern, and market-responsive product designs while maintaining the authenticity of local craftsmanship. The use of AI not only supports creativity and efficiency in the product development process but also contributes to sustainability by increasing the added value of upcycled wood materials. This study highlights how AI-driven visual enhancement can bridge traditional craftsmanship with digital innovation, promoting competitiveness and sustainable growth in rural creative industries.

Abstract

Refurbished products, which are repaired or restored to a like-new condition, offer a more sustainable alternative to new products by extending their lifecycle. However, the marketing of refurbished products faces several chal-lenges, including consumer perception, trust, and the impact of carbonemission-constraint policies. This study aims to address these challenges and provide recommendations for effective marketing strategies. We explore the marketing of refurbished products within the context of carbon-emission-constraint policies, specifically comparing offline and online channels. We present two channel models, with the first model, referred to as Model O, fo-cusing on marketing refurbished products through the manufacturer’s own e-commerce channel. The second model, known as Model T, explores the al-ternative approach of outsourcing the marketing activity to a third-party en-tity. Carbon-emissionconstraint policies impose restrictions on businesses’ carbon footprint, affecting their marketing strategies. Businesses must navi-gate these policies while effectively promoting refurbished products to envi-ronmentally conscious consumers. By addressing the challenges faced in marketing refurbished products with carbon-emission-constraint policies, consumer behavior, and comparing offline and online channels, this thesis aims to provide valuable insights for businesses and policymakers to effec-tively promote sustainable consumption and contribute to a more environ-mentally conscious industry.
