Along with the times and the demands of industry 4.0, strict technological, economic, social, and cultural developments make every country compete, and everything becomes very easy to access. For this reason, building human resources that are hard-working, dynamic, skilled, and mastering science and technology is necessary to invite talents from other countries to cooperate with Indonesia. Currently, Indonesia has collaborated with other countries, one of which is China. Therefore, in this community service activity, efforts will be made to improve Mandarin's conversational skills through the picture to picture method. This activity has been carried out online through zoom meetings. The number of students who took part in this activity was 20 students of SMA Dharma Pancasila. In its implementation, the picture and picture method approach is used with materials from power points that have been optimized by the service team and specifically for high school students. This community service has resulted in the outcome, namely assistance in improving Chinese conversations, which impacts improving students' Mandarin language skills

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai kepahlawanan yang terdapat pada film The Captain. Adapun teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori sosiologi sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data pada penelitian ini adalah dialog yang berisi kata-kata dan kalimat yang menunjukkan nilai kepahlawanan yang terdapat pada film The Captain. Sumber data pada penilitian ini adalah film The Captain. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik simak dan teknik catat. Peneliti menganalisis nilai kepahlawanan berdasarkan nilai keberanian, nilai rela berkorban, nilai pantang menyerah, nilai kerja sama, nilai optimisme dan nilai solidaritas. Nilai kepahlawanan ini banyak ditemukan pada tokoh-tokoh yang berada di dalam pesawat. Peneliti menemukan 12 data nilai kepahlawanan yang terdapat dalam film The Captain. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis pergeseran terjemahan subtitle film Aftershock dari bahasa Mandarin ke bahasa Indonesia. Metode penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data berupa satuan lingual kata, frasa, klausa dalam bentuk narasi. Data dianalisis berdasarkan pergeseran terjemahan menurut Catford yakni category shift. Dari 40 data, terdapat unit shift sebanyak 16 data (40%), structure shift sebanyak 10 data (25%), class shift sebanyak 8 data (20%), dan intra system shift sebanyak 6 data (15%). Bentuk pergeseran terjemahan paling dominan pada film Aftrershock adalah unit shift dengan bentuk frasa ke kata yang disebut dengan down rank shift (40%). Pergeseran itu terjadi disebabkan karena pengaruh teknik dalam penerjemahan seperti pengurangan. Akibatnya, terjadi pergeseran peringkat dari bahasa sumber ke dalam bahasa sasaran. Penggunaan teknik pengurangan pada proses penerjemahan subtitle ini tidak mengubah makna bahasa sumber, justru dapat menjaga kealamiahan (naturalisasi) pada bahasa sasaran

Abstract, In recent years, there have been challenges faced by MTs Al Abraar in an effort to improve student learning outcomes, especially in creating creative and innovative learning. The partners involved in this program are teachers at the Al-Abraar Tandem Hilir Private Middle School, Hamparan Perak District, where the main problem experienced by partners is the lack of knowledge in using IT in creating creative teaching materials. Therefore, the solution offered is to provide training in creating creative teaching materials to improve teachers' knowledge and skills in creating, using and optimizing the use of Canva. The location for implementing this program has been discussed with partners, namely at the Al Abraar Tandem Hilir Private Middle School located at Jln. Listrik Emplasmen Tandam Hilir I, Hamparan Perak District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra. This program consists of stages of preparation, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation. In implementing this service, the team implemented the in-house training method. In the implementation of the training, the community service team provided tutorial materials on the use of Canva which would be carried out for 2 meetings (2 meetings per material) and carried out alternately with a duration of 120 minutes each. Training activities on this were carried out on August 8-9, 2024 offline with lecture methods, direct training, discussions and questions and answers. The results of this activity can be seen that the participants of the activity can recognize and can create creative teaching material designs using Canva and its supporting features and are used in teaching. The sustainability of this program can be measured by the existence of teaching materials made using Canva.

Child health is a crucial issue for the future of the nation, where nutrition is a major concern. Nutritional disorders in children can lead to obesity, learning disabilities, developmental disorders, chronic diseases, and cancer, influenced by genetic factors, socio-economics, parental education, history of infection, and intake patterns. Anthropometric measurements are used to detect these disorders. This community service activity aims to provide socialization about balanced nutrition through the concept of “Isi Piringku” and prevention of helminthiasis, as well as measuring the nutritional status of 316 students of SD Negeri 133888. The results showed that 87% of students had good nutritional status, while 13% had nutritional disorders, consisting of 5.4% undernutrition, 3.8% overnutrition, and 3.8% obesity. Further research is needed to identify factors that contribute to these nutritional disorders, so that appropriate interventions in community service activities can be designed to reduce the prevalence of malnutrition in the future.

Karya sastra merupakan karya seni berbentuk lisan maupun tulisan yang menggunakan bahasa sebagai mediumnya untuk memberikan gambaran hidup. Penelitian ini membahas tentang nilai-nilai moral pada film Our Shining Days《闪光少女; shǎnguāng shàonǚ》karya Wang Ran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai- nilai moral yang terdapat pada film Our Shining Days《闪光少女》karya Wang Ran. Film ini bercerita tentang sekolah musik yang memiliki dua jurusan yaitu jurusan musik tradisional Cina dan juga jurusan musik klasik yang tidak akur satu sama lain. Pada penelitian ini teori yang digunakan adalah teori sosiologi sastra dari Alan Swingewood. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data penelitian berupa dialog dan tindakan para tokoh yang memuat nilai-nilai moral. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah film Our Shining Days《闪光少女》 karya Wang Ran. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa wujud nilai moral yang terdapat pada film Our Shining Days《闪光少女》 karya Wang Ran adalah hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri dengan nilai moral baik yaitu kerja keras dan keberanian serta hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain dengan nilai moral baik yaitu suka menolong, peduli, kerja sama dan musyawarah serta nilai moral buruk yaitu merendahkan dan diskriminasi.

The purpose of the thesis research entitled "Space Deixis and Time Deixis in the Film Forensic Medicine Song ci (法医宋慈 ) by Hu Guohan" is to determine the types of spatial deixis (locative lexemes, demonstrative lexemes, temporal lexemes) and the forms of time deixis (present time deixes). , time deixis, future time deixis relative time deixis) were the most dominant found. In this study the authors analyzed the form and use of deixis. The researcher uses a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study is the text that becomes a conversational dialogue in the film Forensic Medicine Song ci (法医宋慈 ) by Hu Guohan. Based on the results and discussion, the researcher concludes that space deixis and time deixis in the film Forensic Medicine Song ci (法医宋慈 ) The author of Hu Guohan's work found that the results of the research data contained 71 space deixis and time deixis consisting of 28 forms of space deixis and 43 forms of time deixis. In addition, the theory that the research results uses the theory of Bambang K.P (1984: 1) shows that the use of deixis is related to the context of speech. Deixis has meaning if it is considered and can be known through the context of the speech.

This study aims to find out how translators use translation techniques and what factors cause the use of translation techniques to appear, especially in subtitles. The type of research used in this study is descriptive qualitative research. The data has been collected by using listening and note-taking techniques. Based on the analysis of 18 data in the form of horror utterances in Incantation movie, it is found that there are 6 types of translation techniques used in the 18 data, starting from adaptation translation techniques with 7 data. There are 6 types of translation techniques applied in the translation of Incantation film subtitles, starting from adaptation translation techniques with 7 data. Second, there is a literal translation technique with 5 data. The third is a modulation technique with 4 data. Fourth, there are borrowing and linguistic compression techniques with 3 data. And the last one, there is a transposition technique with 1 data.

Communist countries often utilize persuasive speech to demonstrate authority, leadership, and legitimacy of the ruling party. This study explores the use of persuasive utterances delivered by the president of the People's Republic of China, Xi Jinping, during the People's Republic of China National Day celebration. This qualitative study is based on data from Xi Jinping's speeches during the National Day Celebrations of the People's Republic of China during Xi Jinping's tenure. The data are in the form of sentences that have elements of persuasion, which were collected using content analysis techniques. The findings of this study are that 46 persuasion utterances were found in four speech texts of Xi Jinping. The persuasion sentences vary, but always follow the following indication patterns, namely (1) the use of collective pronoun, (2) the use of collective nouns, (3) the use of deontic modality, (4) the use of epistemic modality, (5) the use of majas, and (6) the use of evaluative vocabulary.

Judul penelitian ini adalah Pergeseran Struktur Penerjemahan Bahasa Mandarin-Indonesia pada Teks Berita Daring: Kajian Sintaksis. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan pergeseran struktur sintaksis dalam penerjemahan Bahasa Mandarin-Indonesia pada teks berita daring, metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Data utama dalam penelitian ini adalah kalimat-kalimat dalam berita yang berasal dari situs web terkait, Pemerintah Konsulat Tiongkok. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada pergeseran struktur sintaksis yaitu, pergeseran struktur sintaksis secara gramatikal sebanyak 27, pergeseran kata ke frasa 6, pergeseran sintaksis struktur kelas kata 2, pergeseran frasa ke kata 1, pergeseran kata ke verba 1. Pergeseran struktur ini dapat mempengaruhi makna dan pemahaman kalimat, sehingga penting untuk memperhatikan konteks dan tata Bahasa dalam penerjemahan. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan pentingnya penggunaan Bahasa yang tepat dan akurat dalam teks berita daring, terutama dalam konteks hubungan bilateral antara Tiongkok dan Indonesia yang semakin meningkat.
