Abstract

Climatic elements are limiting factors for plants; therefore, climate change can impact the phenology of plants. This study aims to determine the impact of climate change on the reproductive phenology of four local mango cultivars on Sulawesi Island, Indonesia. Data were collected during 2013 and 2014 by observing and recording the production of vegetative shoots, generative shoots, and fruits from the trees of each mango cultivar weekly. To assess the impact of seasonal change on fruit quality, the weight and sugar level of the ripe fruits in each cultivar were measured. Climate data were obtained from the National Centers for Environmental Prediction and the Indonesian Agency for Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Region IV, Makassar. Results show that from 1979 until 2014, the climate in the study site changed from type D to type C according to the Schmidt-Ferguson Climate Classification method, indicating that the wet season became longer. Following climate change, the reproductive phenology of the four mango cultivars also changed from once to twice annually, whereby the flush of vegetative and reproductive shoots that appeared during the first period in March did not successfully develop into mature fruit but developed following the second period in July. The change of season also impacted the quality of the mangoes, as fruit produced during the longer dry season had higher sugar levels than those produced during the shorter dry season.

Abstract

This study aims to study and determine the growth response of several varieties of sugarcane (Saccharum officinarum L.) on the application of coffee grounds liquid organic fertilizer (POC). This research was conducted in Gattareng Village, Salomekko District, Bone Regency, South Sulawesi from April to July 2022. The research was arranged in the form of a two-factor factorial experiment with a randomized block design (RBD) as an environmental design. The first factor is the variety which consists of three varieties namely PS 881, PS 865 and Kidang Kencana. The second factor was the POC concentration of coffee grounds which consisted of four levels, namely without POC, 15 mL/L, 30 mL/L and 45 mL/L. The results showed that the combination of the PS 865 variety with 15 mL/L POC coffee grounds gave results on the parameters of stem diameter (18.67 mm), fresh stem weight (66.50 g), stem dry weight (33.29 g) and root volume (35.33 mL). The PS 865 variety gave the best results on the parameters of plant height (34.61 cm), number of leaves (9.50), root wet weight (23.0 g), root dry weight (6.37 g) and root length (105 g). .92 cm) sugarcane seeds. POC coffee grounds 45 mL/L gave the best results on the parameters of plant height (33.67 cm), root wet weight (22.11 g), and root dry weight (5.86 g) of sugarcane seedlings.

Abstract

Pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan tinggi merupakanformulasi konsep-konsep dasar sebagai landasan atau pijakanyang menjelaskan secara mendalam dan komprehensip aspekfilosofis, sosiologis, psikologis, rasio-empirik, dan yuridis, sertadilengkapi sistem pengelolaan kurikulum pendidikan tinggi.Dalam pengembangan kurikulum pendidikan tinggi ada dua halyang menjadi perhatian, yaitu; (1) kerangka dasar kurikulum;hal ini merupakan landasan pemikiran yang diolah secara ilmiahatau disebut sebagai naskah akademik. Kerangka dasar tersebutjuga merupakan pijakan pengembangan kurikulum pendidikantinggi yang meliputi aspek filosofis, sosiologis, psikologis, danyuridis serta perkembangan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi,;(2) Struktur kurikulum pendidikan tinggi; hal ini merupakansistem pengorganisasian kurikulum yang meliputi: rumusancapaian pembelajaran pendidikan tinggi, pengorganisasianbahan kajian, dan beban belajar pada pendidikan tinggi.Kata Kunci : Pengembangan Kurikulum, Pendidikan Tinggi
