Abstract

Venturi adalah suatu saluran di dalam karburator yang berfungsi untuk mendapatkan suatu perbedaan tekanan sehingga terbentuk aliran bahan bakar bercampur dengan udara, masuk ke dalam ruang bakar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perubahan diameter venturi pada karburator terhadap performa pada sepeda motor. Diameter venturi yang digunakan ada tiga yaitu diameter standard 18 mm, diameter 18,5 mm dan diameter 19 mm. Performa pada sepeda motor didapatkan dengan menggunakan alat uji dyno test meliputi torsi, daya dan konsumsi bahan spesifik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa diameter venturi berpengaruh terhadap performa sepeda motor. Torsi tertinggi pada venturi diameter 18,5mm dengan nilai 7,18 Nm pada putaran 3350 rpm, daya tertinggi pada venturi diameter 18,5 mm dengan nilai 5,5 HP pada putaran 6500 rpm dan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik terendah pada venturi diameter 19 mm dengan nilai 0,317 kg/jam Hp pada putaran 6500 rpm.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of exhaust manifold modifications on motorcycle performance using torque expansion chamber (TEC) variations in the location of the inlet and outlet ducts. The test was carried out by changing the position of the TEC inlet and outlet ducts in three variations. Testing using a dynotest and a Honda Supra X 125 motorcycle. The test results show that the highest results were obtained when using variation 2. The torque obtained was 9.69 Nm at an engine rotation of 4500 rpm, the power produced was 7.53 HP at an engine rotation of 6250 rpm, and the specific fuel consumsion (sfc) produced was 0.153 kg/hour. HP at 6250 rpm.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of exhaust manifold modifications using TEC baffle one, baffle two, and baffle three, on the performance of the Honda Supra X 125. Testing was carried out using a Dynotest tool and a Honda Supra X 125 motorcycle. The results of exhaust manifold modification testing with variations in the number of TEC baffle on the performance of the Honda Supra X 125 show an increase in performance. The highest results were obtained in the modification of the exhaust manifold with TEC baffle two. The torque obtained is 9.74 Nm at an engine speed of 5000 rpm, the power produced is 7.7 HP at an engine speed of 6500 rpm, and the KBBS produced is 0.150 KG/hour. HP at a speed of 6000 rpm - 6250 rpm.
