Abstract

The development of telecommunications network technology in Indonesia begins with wireline to become wireless telecommunications as it is today. One of the wireless telecommunications technologies used today is Wireles Fidelity (Wi-Fi) which has the advantage of being in terms of sending signals and having a high frequency. One of the Wireless Fidelity (WiFi) service providers, namely PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia with its products, named Wifi.Id. The amount of bandwidth in the Access Point (AP) always changes according to the number of users connected to the Access Point (AP). So that PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia needs to monitor the Access Point (AP) to meet user satisfaction. In addition to Bandwidth, other parameters are also checked on the Access Point (AP), namely Service Set Identifier (SSID), Media Access Control Address (MAC Address), Received Signal Strength Indication (RSSI), Data Rate, and Frequency Access Point (AP ) which is measured in real time in the field. In this study the application was built using Android Studio which uses the Java programming language and XML, as well as for storing data using the MySQL database. The method used for building applications uses the Prototype method. The results of the research carried out are an android-based application for monitoring Access Points (AP) that can facilitate the operators of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia.

Abstract

The advancement of AI (Artificial Intelligence) technology has been widely implemented in numerous sectors of daily life. Machine Learning is one of the subfields of Artificial Intelligence. Using statistics, mathematics, and data mining, machine learning is developed so that machines may learn by assessing data without being reprogrammed. At this time the world is on alert for the spread of a popular virus, the corona virus. Coronaviruses are part of a family of viruses caused by diseases ranging from the flu. The disease caused by the coronavirus is known as Covid-19. Therefore, to help identify whether a somebody has coronavirus disease based on certain symptoms, a model is created that can classify people with the covid-19 virus using machine learning. The classification methods utilized in this study are decision trees and large-scale machine learning projects. The study employed Python 3.7 as its programming language and PyCharm as its Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Based on the results, the accuracy rate as expected after conducting various trials is 99%.

Abstract

Kemajuan sistem telekomunikasi diiringi dengan semakin luasnya layanan akses internet. Hal ini memicu meningkatnya kebutuhan masyarakat akan akses internet yang mengakibatkan terjadinya persaingan produk yang tinggi antar ISP (Internet Service Provider). Dampak dari persaingan ini membuat masyarakat bingung khususnya masyarakat pedesaan untuk memilih providers LTE (Long Term Evolution) mana yang memiliki kualitas akses internet paling baik. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisa Quality of Service dengan meninjau kualitas akses internet pada provider Indosat, XL, dan Tri menggunakan standardisasi TIPHON dengan parameter uji berupa throughput, packet loss, delay, dan jitter. Adapun layanan internet yang diuji berupa jejaring social, upload, download, dan video streaming pada waktu sibuk (09.00-13.00 WIB) dan waktu non sibuk (13.00-17.00 WIB). Pengujian dilakukan dengan metode packet sniffing menggunakan software Colasoft Capsa 11 dan Axance Net Tools. Hasil yang diperoleh pada penelitian ini yaitu provider Indosat memiliki kualitas akses internet yang paling baik berdasarkan pada waktu sibuk dengan nilai throughput melalui software Colasoft Capsa sebesar 554 Kbps dan Axance Net Tools sebesar 558 Kbps, packet loss sebesar 0%, delay dan jitter melalui software Colasoft Capsa sebesar 12 ms dan Axance Net Tools 11 ms sedangkan pada waktu non sibuk dengan nilai throughput melalui software Colasoft Capsa sebesar 437 Kbps dan Axance Net Tools sebesar 427 Kbps, packet loss 0%, delay, dan jitter melalui software Colasoft Capsa sebesar 14 ms dan Axance Net Tools sebesar 13 ms.

Abstract

Currently, the technology used for aircraft monitoring is Radar technology. Radar's accuracy is hampered, however, by the fact that while an aircraft is airborne or in flight, it is frequently obscured by clouds, making it difficult to detect the aircraft. Due to constraints in radar technology, Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast technology was developed to improve the performance of air navigation security. Raspberry Pi, RTL-SDR, and LNA were used as the research method in designing the ADS-B signal receiver monitoring system. The 1090 MHz Ground Plane Antenna is preferable because it has a higher gain and a radiation pattern influenced by radial elements, allowing it to collect a considerably broader signal when combined with Raspberry Pi RTL-SDR and LNA. The monitoring results based on the test data are impressive, generating six aircraft simultaneously, indicating that dump 1090 is very effective at translating the aircraft's ADS-B signal data emitted every 0.5 seconds. ICAO, Altitude and Longitude information are clear Based on tests, the aircraft's ADS-B signal was identified between 4,000 and 38,000 feet over the maximum value, causing the signal to disappear and fail to decode the information. The maximum distance measured during the test was 49.7 kilometers from the elevated location where the ADS-B signal monitoring device was installed. The results of the first test were placed 10 meters above the ground. The result is significantly better than the short antenna position. This significantly improves the accuracy of the ADS-B signal monitoring system and the synchronization of information exchange through real-time monitoring.

Abstract

Automatic Identification System (AIS) is a ship transponder that uses MMSI data, speed, position, destination, ship type, and size to locate, track, and monitor ships. Only Vessel Traffic Services (VTS) and a few other agencies can be supervised presently. This is one of the issues that must be resolved. To resolve this issue, hardware that can receive AIS signals at 161.975 MHz and 162.025 MHz and convert them into information signals is required. RTL-SDR is hardware capable of receiving signals in the frequency range of 25-1700 MHz. Its antenna is used to achieve maximum signal reception by establishing a direct line of sight to the AIS data source. Yagi antennas can only receive signals from a single direction, the front. Low Noise Amplifier (LNA) is also used in order to optimize the signal received by the antenna. The signal can be processed and decoded using SDR-Sharp and AISMon to provide data that can be plotted on OpenCPN. The performance of the AIS data decoding process is controlled by the strength and weakness of the signal that the RTL-SDR receiver can receive. Therefore, the antenna and receiver must be placed in a clear line of sight (LOS) with the ship's AIS transponder emitting source. It is envisaged that this monitoring system would make it easier to monitor ships in real-time

Abstract

The fraudulent act of mixing pork with beef often causes concern for consumers in Indonesia about the authenticity of the meat products purchased. This study used the YOLO algorithm to classify pork and beef images to address the problem. The method used in this study was first a dataset of pork and beef images collected and labeled with information about the type of meat. After passing through pre-processing, the YOLOv5 algorithm is trained and validated using the dataset. The evaluation results showed excellent performance with an average precision level of 97.9%, 100% recall, and 97.2% mAP50-95 on validation data. When tested, the algorithm was able to recognize and distinguish meat types with varying confidence levels, although some predictions had low confidence levels that required improved performance. The YOLO algorithm succeeded in obtaining an effective model in detecting and classifying objects on meat images, especially in the identification of beef and pork.

Abstract

This research aims to implement the LoRa (Long Range) protocol with the SX1278 transceiver module and use tree topology to build an effective air quality monitoring system and save energy. To detect CO levels, the MQ7 sensor is used, and the MQ135 sensor is used to detect CO2 levels. It can be concluded that the results of RSSI measurements and delay if the longer the distance tested, the RSSI value will be smaller (weaker) and the delay longer. SNR measurement results depend on the conditions of the test site, that the more noise, the smaller (worse) SNR value will be obtained. For CO and CO2 values, a reading is obtained on the sensor that a calibration process is needed in the program so that the sensor reading value is more accurate.

Abstract

In this study, we designed a multisensory medical device to carry out a process of monitoring body health that was integrated into the system so that the patient's health could be detected. This tool uses Wireless Body Area Network technology that can work with Android-based platforms in real time. In designing this tool, it is designed to detect body health automatically by displaying information about body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen levels in the blood, then sending notifications to the server without wasting time, and recording physical health information data automatically. Real-time display on the smartphone, owned by the user and provides a readable body health status that is healthy, an indication or needs action.

Abstract

Wireless Local area Network (WLAN) suatu jaringan area lokal tanpa kabel yang menggunakan frekuensi radio sebagai media transmisinya. Dalam penelitian ini merancang sebuah jaringan wifi di Perumahan Dosen Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya, yang pancaran wifinya dari kampus Politeknik Negeri Sriwijaya, sehingga Perumahan Dosen dapat mengakses wifi tanpa perlu datang ke kampus. Sebagai receiver komunikasi wifi diperlukan peranan antena dalam sistem komunikasi tanpa kabel (wireless) dengan jarak jauh, antena yang digunakan adalah antena yagi yang bekerja pada frekuensi 2400 MHz. Antena yagi dipilih karena sifatnya yang directional atau pola pancarannya yang terarah. Dalam perancangan antena yagi untuk ukuran reflector, driven, director dan balun dibantu dengan software yagi calculator serta disimulasikan dan diuji menggunakan MMANA-GAL untuk menghasilkan parameter antena yang lebih akurat. Antena yagi ini kemudian akan dihubungkan dengan access point yang disetup sebagai client untuk menerima sinyal dari transmitter dan router sebagai proses routing agar user di Perumahan Dosen dapat mengakses wifi tersebut. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian MMANA-GAL antena yagi dengan frekuensi 2400 MHz, diperoleh Standing Wave Ratio (SWR) sebesar 1.16 dan Penguatan (Gain) sebesar 14,59 dB.
