Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan di lapangan, daya tahan otot tungkai atlet kabaddi Lombok Barat masih belum optimal. Salah satu bentuk latihan yang dinilai efektif untuk meningkatkan daya tahan otot tungkai adalah latihan straight leg raise. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan straight leg raise terhadap peningkatan daya tahan otot tungkai pada atlet kabaddi Lombok Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu (quasi experiment) menggunakan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 16 atlet kabaddi Lombok Barat yang dipilih menggunakan teknik total sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengukur daya tahan otot tungkai adalah tes wall sit. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan uji Paired Sample t-test dengan bantuan program SPSS. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan rata-rata nilai daya tahan otot tungkai setelah diberikan latihan straight leg raise. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan nilai signifikansi (Sig. 2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari latihan straight leg raise terhadap daya tahan otot tungkai atlet kabaddi Lombok Barat. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan straight leg raise berpengaruh secara signifikan dalam meningkatkan daya tahan otot tungkai atlet kabaddi Lombok Barat Tahun 2025.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjawab hipotesis bahwa latihan four square in the air dan overlap and pass berpengaruh terhadap kemampuan passing pemain sepak bola Bacici. Permasalahan penelitian berangkat dari akurasi passing pemain yang belum stabil dan pola latihan yang masih cenderung konvensional, sehingga diperlukan variasi latihan yang lebih menyerupai tuntutan permainan. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan eksperimen one group pretest-posttest dengan dua kelompok perlakuan. Sampel berjumlah 22 pemain putra Bacici yang dibagi menjadi kelompok four square in the air (n=11) dan kelompok overlap and pass (n=11). Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes sepak-tahan bola selama 30 detik untuk mengukur jumlah passing sah. Perlakuan diberikan selama enam minggu dengan frekuensi tiga kali per minggu. Analisis data menggunakan uji t berpasangan berdasarkan selisih skor pretest dan posttest. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kelompok four square in the air meningkat dari rerata 10,36 menjadi 12,36, dengan t hitung 4,944 lebih besar daripada t tabel 1,812. Kelompok overlap and pass meningkat dari rerata 11,36 menjadi 13,45, dengan t hitung 4,227 lebih besar daripada t tabel 1,812. Dengan demikian, kedua bentuk latihan memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap kemampuan passing. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa latihan berbasis variasi, koordinasi, komunikasi, dan situasi permainan dapat menjadi alternatif praktis untuk meningkatkan keterampilan passing pemain sepak bola tingkat klub. Novelty penelitian ini terletak penempatan four square in the air dan overlap and pass sebagai model latihan passing kontekstual berbasis permainan kecil dan kerja sama tim. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menjawab hipotesis bahwa latihan dead leg step up dan single leg bent knee calf raise berpengaruh terhadap hasil lari 100-meter siswa putra SMAN 1 Seteluk KSB. Masalah penelitian berangkat dari rendahnya hasil kecepatan lari 100-meter yang teramati dalam pembelajaran dan pembinaan atletik, terutama pada aspek dorongan tungkai, koordinasi langkah, serta kemampuan mempertahankan kecepatan. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif eksperimen semu dengan desain pre-test and post-test. Perlakuan dilakukan melalui latihan dead leg step up dan single leg bent knee calf raise selama kurang lebih enam minggu. Instrumen utama adalah tes lari sprint 100-meter dengan pencatatan waktu terbaik. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji-t terhadap selisih hasil sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok dead leg step up mengalami penurunan rerata waktu dari 11,63 detik menjadi 11,46 detik, sedangkan kelompok single leg bent knee calf raise menurun dari 11,60 detik menjadi 11,36 detik. Nilai t-hitung masing-masing sebesar 9,990 dan 10,540, lebih besar daripada t-tabel 2,447 pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Dengan demikian, kedua bentuk latihan dinyatakan efektif meningkatkan hasil lari 100-meter. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa latihan penguatan tungkai satu kaki dan penguatan otot betis dapat menjadi alternatif praktis dalam pembelajaran atletik sekolah karena sesuai dengan kebutuhan akselerasi, dorongan, stabilitas, dan ritme langkah sprint. Novelty penelitian terletak pada penerapan dua latihan sederhana berbasis berat badan dan alat minimal dalam konteks siswa SMA daerah, sehingga dapat direplikasi oleh guru PJOK dan pelatih sekolah. Abstract

Based on the results of observations conducted, it was found that the under-thebasket shooting skills of female students in the extracurricular basketball program at SMPN 2 Sikur still need improvement due to several factors, including a lack of exercise variety, limited facilities, and insufficient focus on specific skills. To address these issues, more effective and innovative training methods are required. One training method that can be applied is board taps with ball. This exercise aims to improve hand-eye coordination, reaction speed, and wrist strength, which are important aspects of under-the-basket shooting. This study was conducted as a quasi-experimental study with a one-group pretest and posttest design. Sampling was conducted using probability sampling (random sampling) with simple random sampling technique due to the population size exceeding 30. The sample for this study consisted of 7 individuals or 1 girls' basketball team from SMPN 2 Sikur. The instruments used to measure shooting ability included basketballs, whistles, and stopwatches. Data analysis technique: The Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test was used. Based on the t-test results, there was a significant difference between the under-the-basket shooting results before and after the treatment. he mean difference was -2.000. The t-value was -6.481 with degrees of freedom (df) = 6, and the significance value p < 0.001 (both one-sided and twosided), identifying that the difference was statistically significant. The 95% confidence interval range is from -2.755 to -1.245, so it can be concluded that board taps with ball exercises have a significant effect on improving the underthe-basket shooting ability of female students at SMPN 2 Sikur.

Abstract

Mixed martial arts or better known as Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is a contact sport that allows various fighting techniques, such as grappling, kicks and punches. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of punch drill exercises using dumbbells on arm muscle power and striking speed of IBA MMA UNDIKMA CAMP athletes in 2022. The method in this study used an experimental method with a research design using the One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design form, where this study there is an initial test then given treatment (treatment) in the form of dumbbell weight training then a final test is carried out to find out the results of the study. This research was conducted on IBA MMA UNDIKMA CAMP athletes with a total population of 25 people. In this study, 16 people were taken as samples using purposive sampling technique. The instrument used in this study was a Two-Hand Medicine Ball Put and hitting speed of 30 seconds.The results of the hypothesis stated "there is an effect of punch drill exercises using dumbbells on arm muscle power and speed (frequency) of strokes of IBA MMA UNDIKMA CAMP athletes in 2022. Where the t-count value of arm muscle power athletes of IBA MMA UNDIKMA CAMP in 2022 is 2,150 and compared with the t-table value at a significant level of 0,5% with degrees of freedom (df), namely n-1 = 16-1 = 15 is 1.753, it is known that the t-count value is greater than the t-table value, namely = 2,150> 1.753.The t-count value for the speed (frequency) of hitting IBA MMA UNDIKMA CAMP athletes in 2022 is 14,901 and when compared with the t-table value at a significant level of 0,5% with degrees of greatness (df), namely n-1 = 16-1 = 15 is 1.753,

Abstract

ABSTRACT Futsal requires a high level of physical preparedness due to its fast-paced and dynamic nature, making the development of physical fitness components a crucial aspect of athlete training. This study aims to analyze the effect of a structured training program on improving the speed, agility, and endurance of MAEH FC futsal athletes. A quantitative approach was employed using a one group pretest-posttest design involving 11 athletes over a five-week training period. Measurements were conducted using a 30-meter sprint test, the Illinois Agility Test, and the Beep Test to evaluate changes in physical performance before and after the intervention. The results indicated significant improvements across all variables, as reflected by reduced time in speed and agility tests and increased VO₂max capacity in endurance. These findings suggest that a systematically designed training program can effectively enhance athletes’ physical performance. This study provides practical contributions as a reference for developing more effective and measurable training programs in futsal coaching at both club and educational levels. ABSTRAK Futsal menuntut kesiapan fisik yang tinggi karena karakter permainan yang cepat dan dinamis, sehingga peningkatan komponen kondisi fisik menjadi aspek penting dalam pembinaan atlet. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh program latihan terstruktur terhadap peningkatan kecepatan, kelincahan, dan daya tahan atlet futsal MAEH FC. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain one group pretest-posttest yang melibatkan 11 atlet sebagai subjek penelitian selama lima minggu pelatihan. Pengukuran dilakukan melalui tes lari 30 meter, Illinois Agility Test, dan Beep Test untuk mengevaluasi perubahan performa fisik sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan adanya peningkatan performa yang signifikan pada seluruh variabel, yang ditandai dengan penurunan waktu pada aspek kecepatan dan kelincahan serta peningkatan kapasitas VO₂max pada aspek daya tahan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa program latihan yang dirancang secara sistematis mampu memberikan dampak positif terhadap pengembangan kondisi fisik atlet. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi praktis sebagai dasar penyusunan program latihan yang lebih efektif dan terukur dalam konteks pembinaan futsal di tingkat klub maupun pendidikan.

Abstract

ABSTRACT VO₂ Max is an important indicator of cardiorespiratory endurance in volleyball players because it plays a role in the recovery process following explosive activities during rallies. The problem identified among volleyball players at SMA Negeri 1 Terara, East Lombok, was the suboptimal endurance capacity that caused players to experience decreased performance during prolonged training sessions and matches. This study aimed to analyze the effect of Speed, Agility, Quickness (SAQ) training with a 1:1 interval ratio on improving the VO₂ Max of high school volleyball players. The study employed a quasi-experimental method using a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 20 players, including 8 male and 12 female athletes, selected through a purposive sampling technique. The treatment was administered through a six-week SAQ training program with a 30-second work and 30-second rest ratio. The research instrument used was the Multistage Fitness Test or Bleep Test, while data analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics, the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, and the paired sample t-test. The results showed that the average VO₂ Max increased from 36.97 to 39.75 ml/kg/min, with a percentage increase of 7.53%. These findings indicate that SAQ training with a 1:1 interval ratio is effective in improving the cardiorespiratory capacity of volleyball players and can be implemented as a practical, measurable, and game-specific conditioning program in school sports environments. ABSTRAK VO₂ Max merupakan salah satu indikator penting dalam daya tahan kardiorespirasi pemain bola voli karena berperan dalam proses pemulihan setelah aktivitas eksplosif selama rally berlangsung. Permasalahan yang ditemukan pada pemain bola voli SMA Negeri 1 Terara Lombok Timur adalah kemampuan daya tahan yang belum optimal sehingga pemain mudah mengalami penurunan performa saat latihan dan pertandingan berlangsung lama. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh latihan Speed, Agility, Quickness (SAQ) dengan interval 1:1 terhadap peningkatan VO₂ Max pemain bola voli tingkat SMA. Penelitian menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain one group pretest-posttest. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 20 pemain yang terdiri atas 8 pemain putra dan 12 pemain putri yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Perlakuan diberikan melalui program latihan SAQ selama enam minggu dengan pola kerja dan istirahat 30 detik : 30 detik. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan Multistage Fitness Test atau Bleep Test, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif, uji normalitas Shapiro-Wilk, dan paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata VO₂ Max meningkat dari 36,97 menjadi 39,75 ml/kg/menit dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 7,53%. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa latihan SAQ interval 1:1 efektif meningkatkan kapasitas kardiorespirasi pemain bola voli serta dapat diterapkan sebagai alternatif program conditioning yang praktis, terukur, dan sesuai dengan karakter permainan bola voli di lingkungan sekolah.

Abstract

Background: High-intensity exercise induces distinct cardiovascular responses, but systematic comparisons between trained and untrained individuals remain limited. Objective: The primary objective of this study was to compare cardiovascular responses to HIIT specifically heart rate, blood pressure, and blood lactate levels and to identify factors influencing these differences. Methods: A systematic literature review following the PRISMA framework was conducted for this study. The initial search on the Scopus database using keywords such as “High-Intensity Exercise,” “Cardiac Output,” “Trained,” and “Untrained” yielded 380 articles. After a rigorous screening process, which applied strict inclusion and exclusion criteria including the requirement that articles be published in Q1-Q4 ranked journals between 2014 and 2024 a final set of 10 primary articles was selected for in-depth analysis. Findings/Results: High Intensity Interval Training effectively improves cardiovascular function in both trained and untrained individuals. Significant increases in cardiac output and VO₂ max are observed, particularly in trained cyclists. While untrained individuals also benefit, superior cardiovascular adaptations are seen in those who are trained. Furthermore, HIIT is proven to be safe; it does not increase the risk of cardiovascular dysfunction and even has a cardioprotective effect, demonstrated by an increase in cardiac ejection fraction. Conclusion: This review provides the first systematic synthesis comparing cardiovascular responses to high-intensity exercise between trained and untrained individuals. The findings highlight the importance of training status in exercise prescription and offer practical insights for coaches and health practitioners in optimizing high-intensity training programs.
