Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran guru dalam memberikan motivasi belajar siswa SD 3 Cranggang Kudus pada masa pandemi Covid-19. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas IV SD 3 Cranggang, Kecamatan Dawe, Kabupaten Kudus dengan mengambil subjek guru dan siswa. Data didapatkan melalui observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan pencatatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran guru dalam memberikan motivasi belajar kepada siswa sudah dilakukan secara maksimal. Peran guru pada masa pandemi Covid-19 meliputi (1) sebagai pengelola pembelajaran, guru mampu menyesuaikan kondisi siswa, tidak membebani siswa, serta fleksibel dalam mengelola pembelajaran, (2) sebagai pembimbing, guru melakukan kunjungan ke rumah siswa untuk memantau kemajuan belajar, kesehatan, dan kondisi mental siswa, (3) sebagai fasilitator, guru memberikan fasilitas belajar menggunakan buku LKS, BSE dan menggunakan youtube, (4) sebagai mediator, guru menggunakan media berupa media audio-visual dari internet, (5) sebagai motivator, guru memberikan perhatian, dorongan dan semangat kepada siswa saat melakukan kunjungan, dan (6) sebagai evaluator, guru melakukan penilaian berupa tugas yang dikerjakan saat melakukan kunjungan.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the preparation of online learning during the pandemic at SD N Panjunan  02 Pati and to analyze the implementation of online during the pandemic at SD N Panjunan 02 Pati. This study discussed the plan and implementation of online learning. Online learning referred to teaching students separately from the teachers and the learning was performed through internet and online learning resources according to information and communication technology and the help of sophisticated media.This research was a qualitative descriptive study conducted at SDN Panjunan 02 Pati with the research subjects of students, teachers and parents. The object of this study was online learning in which the data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed through descriptive qualitative data analysis.The results showed that at the planning stage, there were several things that had been prepared for online learning at SDN Panjunan 02, namely objectives, time, strategies, constraints and solutions in planning distance learning. At the implementation stage, there were several things, namely the schedule of online learning activities, how to implement online learning, constraints and solutions for implementing online learning, and the motivation in online learning. From the results of this study, it was concluded that SDN Panjunan 02 has prepared and implemented the learning process well to deal with the current pandemic.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the application of student team achievement division (STAD) model assisted by instructional video media to improve students’ learning outcomes.This study utilized classroom action research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages namely planning, implementating actions, observing, and reflecting. The subjects of this study were 21 fifth grade students at SD 5 Gondoharum, Kecamatan Jekulo, Kabupaten Kudus. There were 13 male students and 8 female students in this study. Data were collected through observations, interviews, tests, and documentations. The results of observations revealed that the teacher’s skills in managing learning increased by a percentage of 76% (Good) in cycle I to 87% (Very Good) in cycle II. Meanwhile, students’ learning outcomes in pre-cycle aspects of IPS content reached the completeness for 47.6% (need guidance). It increased in cycle I to 71.4% (good) and in cycle II to 85.7% (good). Moreover, the learning outcomes in pre-cycle knowledge aspects of Bahasa Indonesia content reached the completeness for 42.9% (need guidance). Then, it increased in cycle I to 66.7% (need guidance) and in cycle 2 to 90.5% (very good). Finally, the students’ learning outcomes in the skills aspects in cycle I reached the average of 76.2% (enough) and increased in cycle II to 85.7% (good).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how big the relationship between students' vocabulary mastery and the ability to write poetry in fifth grade students in Tempur Village. This research usescorrelational quantitative research method product moment. By using a saturated sample of 39 students from class V MI Al-Anwar Tempur, SD N 02 Tempur, and SD N 03 Tempur. Data collection techniques from this study were using interview, test and documentation techniques. Data analysis used hypothesis testing and prerequisite test, namely normality test and linearity test. The results of the study were obtained from the test instrument, namely multiple choice for vocabulary mastery as many as 20 questions and a test of the ability to write poetry. then the data is processed using SPSS statistics 21. From the results of statistical calculations on the variable mastery of vocabulary, it got an average of 66.79 with a standard deviation of 16.878, while the variable of ability to write poetry got an average of 63.21 and a standard deviation of 15.832. From the results of the research analysis, it is shown that the rcount gets 0.670 with N = 39 at a significant level of 5% getting an rtable of 0.316. From these results it can be said that rcount > rtable (0.670 > 0.316). So it can be concluded that there is a relationship between students' vocabulary mastery and the ability to write poetry in fifth grade elementary school students in Tempur Village.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of the character education module based on the school literacy movement. This type of research uses Research and Development (RnD). The research subjects used were fifth grade elementary school students in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data was collected using observation sheets, interview sheets, photos of activities, and filling out questionnaires. Sources of data obtained from filling out questionnaires, observations, and responses from school principals, class teachers, subject teachers, students, and school committees on the implementation of the module. The resulting module is validated by material experts and module experts. Small group trials were conducted in fifth grade SDN Mojoluhur, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Meanwhile, product use trials were carried out in fifth grade SDNs in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and using the t-test to determine the effectiveness of the module. The questionnaire instrument test used validity and reliability, while the quality of the module in the study used expert validation. The results showed: (1) a character education module developed based on the school literacy movement for elementary schools; (2) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is declared valid, the percentage of eligibility criteria for the validator is 75% (feasible) and 83% (very feasible); (3) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is effective for instilling character education in elementary school students. This is shown in the t test the effectiveness of -121.696 1.86 was obtained and the average student character questionnaire before and after using the module increased by 30.08%; (4) the results of teacher responses from observations showed 75.6% (good).

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyze the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning model based on manipulative teaching aids on the understanding of mathematical concepts and the self-confidence of elementary school students.The research method used is experimental research methods. The research design used is a pre-experimental one group pre-test-posttest design. In this study, the sample was grade VI SDN 1 Kangkung Demak students. The independent variable in this study is Problem Based Learning with manipulative teaching aids and the dependent variable is understanding mathematical concepts and students' self-confidence. Data collection uses observation to obtain data about students' self-confidence. The researcher used a questionnaire/questionnaire technique to obtain data on the PBL learning model with manipulative teaching aids in mathematics. The test instrument is in the form of a description of 10 questions, meanwhile a questionnaire is used to collect research data about the level of students' self-confidence.The results showed that based on the t-test, the t-value was 23,359, while the t-table with df=43 was 2.0195, the t-count t-table (23,359 2.0195), which means that the PBL model based on manipulative teaching aids is effectively used to increase the self-confidence of elementary school students. The effectiveness of PBL learning based on manipulative teaching aids is proven to increase students' understanding of mathematical concepts and self-confidence.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis pengembangan modul membaca permulaan berbasis metode suku kata dan media kartu baca untuk meningkatkan keterampilan membaca siswa kelas 1 SDN 1 Plawangan. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian dan Pengembangan yang mengacu pada teori Borg dan Gall, dengan menggunakan sepuluh langkah yaitu: Penelitian dan Pengumpulan Informasi, Perencanaan, Pengembangan Bentuk Awal Produk, Uji Lapangan Awal, Revisi Produk Utama, Uji Lapangan Utama, Revisi Produk Operasional, Uji Lapangan Operasional, Revisi Produk Akhir, Diseminasi dan Implementasi. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas I SD. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa wawancara/observasi, angket, tes, dan instrumen validasi produk. Analisis data deskriptif. Hasil penelitian analisis kebutuhan berdasarkan wawancara dan observasi pembelajaran masih belum menggunakan media pembelajaran yang tepat sehingga sulit untuk menstimulasi keterampilan membaca siswa. Desain pengembangan diawali dengan perencanaan yaitu menganalisis RPPH, materi modul (materi), langkah-langkah penggunaan media dan ukuran modul yang dibuat. Kelayakan produk dilakukan uji validitas pada ahli media dengan skor 93,75% dan validasi ahli materi dengan skor 87,5% (kategori sangat layak). Respon guru mendapatkan persentase 92% dengan kategori sangat suka. Kesimpulan penelitian ini adalah pengembangan modul membaca permulaan berbasis metode suku kata dan media kartu baca telah memenuhi analisis kebutuhan dan layak untuk pembelajaran siswa.
