This study aimed to analyze the role of fishery exension agent on cultivation activity and marketing of catfish (Clarias gariepinus) on POKDAKAN Bayur Sejahtera based on various criteria including the role of the fishery extension agent as a guide, as an organizer and dynamist, as a field technician, and as a facilitator. This study was analyzed using descriptive analysis and a Likert scale. This study used a case study method. The sample of this study was carried out by census method with a total sample of 26 members of the cultivator group at POKDAKAN Bayur Sejahtera. The results of this study indicate that overall fishery extension agents have a high role in the cultivation activities and marketing of catfish (Clarias gariepinus) in POKDAKAN Bayur Sejahtera with an average score of the total indicators of 49.23 or in the high category. Partially, the role of the extension agent as a guide got an average score of 12.73 or had a high role. The role of the extension agent as an organizer and dynamist got an average score of 12.88 or had a high role. The role of the extension agent as a field technician got an average score of 12.46 or had a high role. Meanwhile, the role of the extension agent as a fasilitator got an average score of 11.15 or had a moderate role. Key Words: Role, Fishery Extension Agent, Fishery Cultivation

This research was aimed to determine the marketing channels, costs, margins, and farmer's share of white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in Kuala Samboja Village, Samboja Sub-district, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The research was conducted in Kuala Samboja Village, Samboja Sub-district, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The samples used in the study were 15 fishermen and 2 white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannmei) traders. The sampling method used was purposive sampling and snowball sampling. The results showed that: there are 2 marketing channels for white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei), namely the level zero (0) marketing channel and the level two (2) marketing channel with 2 types; meanwhile the marketing costs at the level zero (0) marketing channel is Rp. 392/kg, at the level two (2) type 1 marketing channel is Rp. 3.043/kg, and at the level two (2) type 2 marketing channel is Rp. 2,487/kg. The total marketing margin is at level two (2) marketing channel with Rp. 67,500/kg and Rp. 36,700/kg. And the highest farmer's share is at the zero level marketing channel (0) which is equal to 100% and is the most efficient marketing channel. The purpose of this research is to study the characteristics of fishermen and forms of local wisdom practiced by the fishing community of the Bugis tribe in Muara Badak Ilir Village. The study was conducted for 7 months. The sampling method used in this study was a purposive sampling method with 7 respondents. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive methods. The results of the study illustrate that the fishing communities of Muara Badak Ilir Village are predominantly Bugis ethnicity, graduated from elementary school level, are Muslim, range in age from 50 to 70 years, and are generally small scale fishermen. Some local wisdom regarding Utilization of Fisheries Resources can be seen from (1) Abstinence and Belief: Beach Party (mappanre tasi), saying goodbye before catching, abstinence of reprimanding or greeting fishermen who will go to sea, returning home if there is something left to take to sea, not go to sea on Friday and don't go to sea when someone dies (2) Ethics and Rules: There are rules about prohibiting littering at sea, cutting mangrove trees freely (3). Engineering and Technology: take into account the condition of the sea with natural signs, the use of traditional or environmentally friendly fishing gear, the fisherman's departure time (4). Selective in choosing the type of catch, do not take catches such as turtles, diversification of fishery processing. This research is aimed to Analyze The Impact Of Income, Price, And Number Of Family Members On Demand For Sea Fish In Kuala Samboja Village In District Samboja both simultaneously and partially and to know the independent variable which was the most dominant among income, price, and number of family members. The research was conducted in Kuala Samboja Village In District Samboja. The sample of this research are misters and mistresses who live in Kuala Samboja Village. The number of samples are 30 people which then the researcher use Systematic Random Sampling. The result of this research shows that on simultan way independent variables (X1, X2, X3) have a significant impact on dependent variable (Y), while on partial way variable of fish's price (X2) has a significant impact on dependent variable (Y). The most dominant variable among 3 (three) independent variables (X1, X2, X3) is fish's price factor which is shown by the value of ß standardized coefficients that has the greatest value. This study aims to determine the amount of income of fish pitchmen and fishmongers in Kecamatan Anggana, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara. When the research took place for 10 months, the sampling method used was the Census and Disproportionate stratified random sampling method with a sample size of 14 respondents Primary Observation Data (2019). The results showthat the income of fishmongers in Kecamatan Anggana is Rp. 41.967.168,80/month and for the average among per respondent is Rp. 5.993.309,83/month. As for the fish pitchmen is Rp. 22.320.600,20/month with average per respondent is Rp. 3.188.657,17/month. The comparison of income from both sellers shows that the income of fishmonger is bigger than the income of fish pitchman in Kecamatan Anggana. The result of fishmonger’s income is Rp. 5.995.309,83/month while the income of fish pitchman is Rp. 3.188.657/month. The difference in both income is Rp. 2.806.652,66/month.

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of the instructor's role in the development of fish cultivator groups in Jembayan Village, Loa Kulu District. The research was conducted for 14 months starting in August 2019 and ending in September 2020. The stages of the research included preparation, data collection, analysis of results, discussion, and final thesis report. This research was conducted in Jembayan Village, Loa Kulu District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. The role of the instructor consists of four indicators, namely (instructor as a leader, extension as a guide, extension as an organizer and dynamist, extension as a technical). The measurement of the four indicators of the role of extension personnel can be measured using the sampling method used is the census. Data analysis using the quantitative descriptive method with a Likert scale model. Each question item is given a score expressed in integers (1,2,3) according to the choice of the respondent. The results of this study indicate that the role of fisheries instructors in the development of the “Morisama” fish cultivator group can be seen partially and accumulatively. The role of fishery extension agents partially for extension indicators as leaders and as organizers and dynamics is in the medium class interval category. Meanwhile, the instructor's role is as a supervisor and as a technician in the high-class interval category. Accumulatively, the role of fishery extension agents is in the medium category.

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of perception of fisheries instructors on the performance of fish cultivation groups in the villages of Panoragan, Sepakat, Jembayan and Sumber Sari Village in Lao Kulu District, Kutai Kartanegara District. The study was conducted for 9 months (January-September). The sampling method used in this study is a purposive sampling method with 5 respondents. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative methods . The results of the study of Fisheries Perception of the Performance of Fish Cultivators in the Loa Kulu sub District of Kutai Kartanegara District, the partial planning indicators are in the high category with a score of 8.8. Indicators of partial organizational ability are in the high category with a score of 9. Institutional access indicators partially are in the high category with a score of 9. Indicators of entrepreneurial ability are partially in the high category with a score of 9. Indicators of independence are partially in the high category with a score of 9.

The study's objectives were to know the working time and contribution of seaweed farmings' wives to increase the family income. The study was conducted in Teluk Singkama Village with 11 seaweed farmings' wives as respondents using by census method. The results showed that respondents' average working time for domestic activities was 3 hours 11 minutes daily. The mean working time of respondents for productive activities was 8 hours 19 minutes daily. Moreover, daily personal and leisure activities were 8 hours 17 minutes and 4 hours 11 minutes, respectively. The contribution of seaweed farmings' wives was low with the percentage criteria of 0-25%.

The purpose of this research is to know the characteristics, levels of group dynamics, members ' perception of leadership style, and level of satisfaction to the group's leadership style, And know the relationship between characteristics, group dynamics and leadership style to the satisfaction of group members. Research conducted in bayur village, sempaja north of samarinda city. The sample method used is the census method and the data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis and rank Spearman. The results of the analysis showed the characteristics of the management and group members including the 25-34 years age group, the majority of high school education. non-formal education 3 – 4 times meeting, the income range of 1,600,000 – 2,100,000, the majority of the long 3 years and status is married. The group's dynamic rate is medium with an average interval value of 92.26. Perception of group leader leadership style is in relaxed leadership style with a quadrant value of 72%, And the level of satisfaction of group leader leadership in the category is satisfied with an average of 79.46. The results of the correlation seen that the characteristic variable with level of satisfaction have a relationship that is very weak, while the dynamics of the group to the level of satisfaction has a strong relationship and very significantly, as well as the leadership style to the level of satisfaction have a relationship that is moderate and significant

This research aimed to (1) Know the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District, (2) know the factors affecting the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu SubDistrict Kutai Kertanegara District.Sampling was done through census method. Meanwhile, the data analysis method used was analysis of likert scale and suparman formulation. The research result showed that the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District can be seen in terms of partial and accumulative, which is: partially, the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District was in medium category based on the participation indicator in which the awareness score is 15.2, the involvement score is 8.7, and the benefit score is 8.5. Furthermore, accumulatively, the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District was also in medium category with the score of 32.4. Factors affecting the participation level of fish cultivator in fishery counseling activity in Panorangan Village Loa Kulu Sub-District Kutai Kertanegara District is factor of fish cultivation experience, job, and area width.
