Abstract

Competition, which becomes more widespread, complex, and intense, drives companies to must be able to see the various opportunities that exist and to identify strategies for creating customer satisfaction. As an example of a company must be able to produce products with good quality, reasonable price, facilities, and companies are able to create a positive image in the eyes of consumers. This strategy is quite important in facing the competitive level of competition with rival firms. This research is aimed to analysis simultaneously or partially positive effect of the facilities, prices and corporate image on customer satisfaction, as well as analyzing the most dominant variable in effecting bookstore customer satisfaction. Data used in this research are primary data from Tmbookstore customer in Cianjur city, West Java Indonesia, which were collected from respondents using valid and reliable questionnaire. A total of 100 respondents were selected from Tmbookstore visitors by accidental sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple regression analysis. Results of the research indicate that product, price, location, and simultaneously affect to bookstore consumer satisfaction. Partially, only two of the three variables that affect bookstore consumer satisfaction namely price and company image. Image of the company is the most a dominant impact on bookstore customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect the profitability in Islamic rural bank in Indonesia. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study, to simultaneously show that the Third Party Funds, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Financing to Deposit Ratio Non Performing Financing and Operating Expanse to Operating Income (BOPO) significantly affects to Return on Asset (Profitability), while the rest is explained by other factors not enrolled in this study. Abstract

Kayu cendana memainkan peranan sangat penting dalam perekonomian Propinsi Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT), melalui sumbangannya sebesar 40% per tahun terhadap PAD.Sumbangan sebesar itu berasal dari pengusahaan hutan alam yang potensinya terus menurun dari tahun ke tahun. Untuk mempertahankan dan sekaligus meningkatkan peranan cendana terhadap perekonomian Propinsi NTT, selain tetap mengusahakan hutan alam yang ada, perlu dibangun kelas perusahaan cendana seluas 10.000 ha,dengan menerapkan sistem silvikultur THPB dan silvikultur intensif.Dengan daur (umur tebang) 50 tahun kelas perusahaan tersebut mampu memproduksi kebutuhan dalam negeri dan untuk ekspor.Pembangunan kelas perusahaan cendana ini dilaksanakan bersama masyarakat di Pulau Timor, Sumba dan Flores, pada ketinggian tempat sekitar 700 m dpi.Adanya kebun benih sangat diperlukan untuk memasok kebutuhan benih setiap tahunnya.

Abstract

Financing Determinants in The Indonesian Islamic Rural BankIslamic Rural Bank serves as a financial intermediary to carry out the activities of collecting and distributing funds from the public. Therefore, it is necessary to test whether internal factors, which include deposit funds, capital adequacy ratio, financing to deposit ratio and non-performing financing significantly affects to financing. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that affect the financing in Islamic rural bank in Indonesia. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study, to simultaneously show that the Third Party Funds, Capital Adequacy Ratio, Financing to Deposit Non-Performing Financing significantly affects to Distribution of Funding in SRB (BPRS), while the rest is explained by other factors not enrolled in this study.DOI:  10.15408/ess.v7i1.4542

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of bank size, efficiency, liquidity, and BI rate on MSME financing at Sharia Commercial Banks (BUS) in Indonesia. Research data in the form of secondary data obtained from the official website of Bank Indonesia. The data is analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. Before the information is further explored, several classic assumption tests are performed, including normality test, multicollinearity test, heteroscedasticity test and autocorrelation test. Based on testing the hypothesis using the t-test it was concluded that bank size has a positive effect on MSME financing, efficiency does not affect MSME financing, liquidity has a positive impact on MSME financing, and the BI rate has a positive impact on MSME financing

Abstract

This study aims to analyze BMT's role in poor women's economic empowerment in the Cianjur Regency. This research is a qualitative descriptive study using economic and sociological approaches. This research's data sources are primary data obtained from BMT and interviews and secondary data from library research. Furthermore, the data collection method is carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation for further analysis by reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that BMT played a role in empowering the economy of women. Their income increases so that they can meet their daily needs and become more independent. Besides, they became smarter in managing finances and began to be actively involved in household decision making. Empowerment of women can improve women's welfare and independence in various aspects of life, particularly the economy. Applying the function of empowering women in microfinance institutions such as BMT is the right solution to improve the economy of the community, especially women

Abstract

Murābaḥa financing is a type of financing that dominates the financing contract on Islamic banking in Indonesia. This shows that financing on the basis of sale (murābaḥa) has a greater contribution than the financing of the basis for the profit and loss sharing (muḍāraba and muṣāraka). The purpose of this study is to determine the factors that affect the financing of murābaḥa in the Islamic Commercial Banking in Indonesia by using variables Third Party Fund (DPK), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Financing to Deposit Ratio (FDR), Non-Performing Financing (NPF) and Return on Assets (ROA). The population in this study is the performance of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia in the period of January 2014 to June 2016. The data used in this research is secondary data and sample selection by using purposive sampling method. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis at significantly the rate of 5%. The results of this study indicate that the variable DPK, CAR, FDR, NPF, and ROA simultaneously have an influence on Murābaḥa. Coefficient determination test results show that the five independent variables affect the dependent variable amounted to 87.6% and the remaining 12.4% is influenced by other variables. Partially DPK, CAR, FDR, and ROA have a positive and significant effect on the financing Murābaḥa. While the NPF has no influence on Murābaḥa financing.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to analyze the implementation of Bank Indonesia regulations on corporate governance for Islamic banking so as to avoid fraud. The research method in this article is a qualitative research method. The data sources of this article are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained from field research on several Islamic banks, the Financial Services Authority (OJK), and the Corruption Eradication Commission of the Republic of Indonesia (KPK) who were respondents. The secondary data in the form of legislation regarding corporate governance and those related to sharia banking corporate governance, also data on research results from international journals, as well as other relevant literature. The results of the study show that the regulations issued by Bank Indonesia regarding corporate governance for Islamic banking are not in accordance with the provisions of positive law and Islamic law, and there are provisions that allow fraud. Because there is no philosophical basis, there are weaknesses in some juridical aspects, and contain sociological weaknesses.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic microfinance on the level of development of small and medium micro enterprises in BMT members in West Java. The research method is carried out using a type of quantitative associative approach. The population of this study are members of BMT Baytul Ikhtiar Bogor, BMT ItQan Bandung, BMT Amanah Bersama Bandung and BMT Ibadurrahman Sukabumi, which number 40 people. While the technique for analyzing data is using Simple Linear Regression analysis. The results of the study found that the role of Islamic microfinance in providing business capital to members of BMT has an important role to improve small and medium micro enterprises. The R-Square value is 0.529 or 52.90%. It is seen that the independent variable of Islamic microfinance in explaining the dependent variable of SMEs Business Development Levels on BMT members is 52.90%, the remaining 47.10% is explained by other variables outside the model that are not examined. Based on the results of testing the F test, the value of Fcount> Ftable is 61.875 > 3.24 with the hypothesis H0 being rejected and Ha being accepted with a significance of 0.000 < 0.05.
