Abstract

Utilization of natural energy sources such as solar thermal energy and geothermal energy converted into electrical energy through appropriate technology has been widely used and cannot be separated from the climate. One of them is the process of drying clothes. The drying process used by many people is still simple, namely by drying directly under the sun. This method is less effective because it takes a long time and still depends on the weather. So from here, we will innovate in making a clothes dryer that uses a heating element as a heat source and a fan. The purpose of using a heating element and fan is to help speed up the process of drying clothes in a short time without having to wait a long time and to be able to control the temperature of clothes.

Abstract

Pada jaman sekarang teknologi semakin berkembang, seperti halnya di bidang industri makanan. Dimana banyak terciptanya mesin – mesin pengolah makanan secara otomatis. Seperti pada Mesin Pembuat dan Pembakar Sate Kapasitas 25 Kg/ Jam, mesin ini dilengkapi dengan fitur teknologi baru yang sudah tidak menggunakan arang untuk proses pembakaran sate. Tetapi, menggunakan pemanas infrared hd 262 yang berbahan bakar gas lpg. Pemanas infrared hd 262 ini dapat dikontrol suhu nya melalui kontrol digital yang dihubungkan dengan beberapa komponen infrared hd 262 lainnya. Suhu yang dihasikan pemanas infrared hd 262 ini lebih maksimal untuk makanan yang proses pensajiannya melalui pemanggangan, seperti hal nya dengan sate. Dan mesin ini dikontrol dengan motor oriental dan conveyor rantai. Yang dimana putaran dapat diatur sesuai dengan tebal daging dan kebutuhan.

Abstract

Biofuels include energy-enriched chemicals produced directly through biological processes or derived from the chemical conversion of the biomass of previously living organisms. Biofuels can be classified into two categories: primary and secondary biofuels. The main biofuels are produced directly from burning woody plant material or cellulose and dry animal dung. Secondary biofuels can be classified into three generations, and each is produced indirectly from plant and animal materials. The first-generation biofuel is ethanol derived from starch-rich food crops or biodiesel, extracted from animal fat wastes such as cooking oil. The second generation is bioethanol derived from non-food cellulosic biomass and biodiesel derived from oil-rich plant seeds such as soybean or jatropha. The third generation is a biofuel produced from cyanobacteria, microalgae, and other microbes, which is the most promising approach to meet global energy demand. This community service aims to explain innovation and provide knowledge to technology players, namely technicians, operators, supervisors, and workshop supervisors, about the use of alternative fuels of sesame oil for small-capacity automatic gasoline engines. The counseling results show that the performance and exhaust gas results are optimal so that the technology actors know the quality and quantity of the alternative energy.

Abstract

Martabak is a snack that is often sought after by the general public. Therefore, martabak is a commodity with prospects to develop as an industrial business. Martabak's selling business is one type of business that has the potential to be developed. So many business people are interested in selling this type of food. This business does not require significant capital but has a sizable profit known as bright moon. Sweet martabak has main ingredients, including flour, eggs, water, sugar, and leavening dough agent; there is also the addition of juice. The existence of this machine is expected to increase the quality and quantity of products because there are still many small entrepreneurs in the Gresik area who use traditional tools and carry out a moving process that takes quite a lot of time and effort. Hence, the author now makes a sweet martabak machine with a 25 kg/hour capacity to increase production, quality, and quantity with maximum results for MSMEs in the Gresik area.

Abstract

Mesin bubut Computer Numerical Control (CNC) yang mampu mengerjakan benda kerja dengan akurasi kontur tinggi dan kekasaran permukaan sangat rendah. Inovasi teknologi menjadi nilai tambah bagi siswa SMK Wijaya Putra yang disiapkan bagi lulusan untuk menghadapi dunia industry. Metode pelatihan proses pemesinan ada dua tahap. Tahap pertama adalah mengoptimalkan skill siswa dengan aplikasi mastercam, dengan aplikasi ini siswa akan diajarkan tentang desain dan pemodelan CNC. Tahap kedua pelaksanaan proses pemesinan dengan parameter kecepatan potong, kecepatan pemakanan dan kedalam potong yang sesuai. Pelatihan ini bisa menambah nilai lebih tentang skil proses pememesinan untuk siswa SMK.

Abstract

Butanol merupakan biofuel dengan karakteristik kimia yang mirip dengan bensin, diimplementasikan pada mesin Spark Ignition (SI) kapasitas kecil dan bertransmisi Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Pada penyuluhan ini bahwa butanol yang digunakan dicampur dengan bahan bakar murni untuk mengevaluasi karakteristik pembakaran dan kinerja mesin. penyuluhan ini dilaksanakan terhadap pelaku bengkel dengan jumlah tujuh orang mekanik di sidoarjo untuk memberikan pengetahuan tentang peluang butanol sebagai biofuel sebagai pengganti bahan bakar standard dan layak digunakan sehari-hari pada kendaraan bermotor. Selain itu butanol merupakan bahan bakar yang ramah lingkungan serta optimal terhadap kendaraan bermotor.

Abstract

Perkembangan dan kemajuan teknologi di era digital saat ini semakin pesat. Persaingan dalam industri manufaktur semakin tinggi, baik dalam bidang teknologi peralatan penunjang maupun dalam bidang produksi. Pada pekerjaan tertentu yang memerlukan laju produksi yang tinggi, waktu produksi yang singkat serta kualitas yang tinggi dan seragam, tidak disarankan menggunakan mesin konvensional. Mesin berteknologi CNC dengan kontrol numerik berbantuan komputer atau sejenisnya telah menjadi solusi selama puluhan tahun. Pada penyuluhan ini akan dibahas efektivitas mesin CNC-3 Axis sebagai ilustrasi dengan mengembangkan pemrograman kode G-M code dan produk. Peserta Pelatihan merupakan siswa SMK Wijaya Putra dan SMK Sunan Giri dengan Jumlah 25 siswa. Penyuluhan ini dilakukan di Lab. CNC Fakultas Teknik-UWP. Hasil dari penyuluhan ini hasil pelatihan tersebut berharap bahwa dengan adanya aplikasi Mastercam pada proses pemesinan non konvensional akan mempercepat proses manufaktur. Pelatihan singkat yang diadakan sangat diminati oleh peserta dan masih perlu pelatihan berkelanjutan agar peserta dapat menguasai sepenuhnya proses pemesinan konvensional terutama CNC-3 Axis.

Abstract

Butanol as a fuel has a high oxygen content, so the combustion process will be more friendly to the environment. In this study, butanol will be mixed with RON-90 gasoline with a capacity of 5% (B5); 7%(B7); 10%(B10); 12%(B12); 15%(B15) and 18%(B18). The engine used is an automatic transmission with a capacity of 109.5cc with a compression ratio of 9.5:1. The test equipment for engine performance and exhaust emissions is the 50L BRT Super-Dyno and EPSG4 Gas Analyzer. The results showed that using B18 fuel for CO exhaust emissions decreased by 44% at an engine speed of 6000rpm. CO2 exhaust emissions have decreased by 47% at 8000rpm engine speed. HC exhaust emissions have decreased by 28% at 9000rpm engine speed. In contrast to NOx emissions, which increased by 22% at 9000rpm engine speed, this was due to the increasing temperature in the combustion chamber.

Abstract

Acetone-butanol-ethanol (ABE) is a preferred alternative energy for SI engines. This research uses an experimental method with an automatic SI engine, RON-90 fuel mixed with ABE1 (12:8:1)v/v, ABE2 (15:10:1)v/v and ABE3 (1i8:12:1) v/v. Engine speed is 4000-10000rpm, and compression ratio is 11.6:1. Emission and engine performance testing used EPSG4-Gas analyzer and Dynotest-chassis type 50L-BRT. This research aims to explore the mixture of RON-90 and ABE to optimize performance and exhaust emissions. This research shows that torque increases by an average of 14.7% at an engine speed of 6000rpm. Power increased significantly with an average value of 9.5% at an engine speed of 8000rpm, MEP increased by 0.5%, and thermal efficiency increased by 7%. SFC experienced a fairly optimal decrease of 15.6% on average. The exhaust gas emissions produced are CO and HC. The reduction in CO and HC occurred in the ABE3 variant with values of 8.2% and 1.6%, respectively.

Abstract

Ethanol is an alternative fuel to replace fossil fuels. Ethanol's high octane value can substitute for power in spark-ignition engines (SI). Gasoline mixed with ethanol will reduce the calorific value generated and intensify the combustion process in the combustion chamber. Through the engine performance test, we can find out the increase in the performance of the SI engine. Several essential variables can improve engine performance, such as gasoline-ethanol variations, iridium spark plugs, and hydroxy gas generators (HHO). This research uses an experimental method by utilizing gasoline (octane-92)-ethanol variations (35%, 45%, and 55% v/v) with the intake of hydroxy gas during the combustion process. The SI automatic transmission engine has a capacity of 124.8 cubic centimeters (one cylinder-four stroke), a compression ratio of 11/1, fuel injection, and iridium spark plugs. Engine performance test using chassis dyno test with engine speed variations of 4000-9000 rpm. This study resulted in optimal performance on a 55% increase in gasoline-ethanol mixture with an intensify in output-power, pressure, and thermal efficiency at an engine-speed of 8000 rpm. It is contrary to the specific fuel consumption has decreased.
