Abstract

Abstract Background: The mixing of 3 generations (x, millennial / y and z) in the world of work raises differences in the picture of work ethos and attachment. The company has a strategy of creating superior employees. Millennial employees show a desire to be appreciated, maximize work time and prioritize mental health, so that employees can still work in happy conditions and not depressed. Objective: This research shows the importance of happiness and work meaning felt by millennial employees to increase work engagement to the global competition. Method: Systematic literature review by identifying, assessing, and synthesizing literature search results through Google Scholar, Scopus, Research Gate, and Garuda. Results: 12 literature studies show that the work attachment of millennial generation employees is at a moderate level and is still below the work attachment of previous generations. Conclusion: Companies can provide work comfort and opportunities to be actively involved in work so that a sense of meaning arises for the work done to increase employee engagement in the company.   Abstrak Latar Belakang: Percampuran 3 golongan generasi (x, milenial/y dan z) di dunia kerja menunculkan perbedaan gambaran etos dan keterikatan kerja. Perusahaan memiliki strategi menciptakan karyawan unggul. Karyawan milenial menunjukkan keinginan untuk dihargai, memaksimalkan waktu kerja dan mengutamakan kesehatan mental, sehingga karyawan tetap bisa bekerja dalam kondisi bahagia dan tidak tertekan. Tujuan: Penelitian ini mengetahui pentingnya kebahagiaan dan kebermaknaan kerja yang dirasakan oleh karyawan milenial terhadap peningkatan keterikatan kerja pada persaingan global. Metode: yang digunakan adalah Systematic literatur review dengan mengidentifikasi, menilai dan menyintesiskan hasil penelusuran kepustakaan melalui google scholar, Scopus, research gate dan garuda. Hasil: 12 studi kepustakaan menunjukkan bahwa keterikatan kerja yang dimiliki para karyawan generasi milenial berada di taraf sedang dan masih di bawah keterikatan kerja yang  dimiliki para generasi sebelumnya. Simpulan: Perusahaan dapat memberikan kenyamanan kerja dan kesempatan untuk terlibat aktif dalam bekerja sehingga muncul rasa bermakna atas pekerjaan yang dilakukan sehingga dapat meningkatkan keterikatan kerja karyawan di perusahaan.

Abstract

Direct elections do not always run well. The aggressiveness of political partisans, who are sometimes hostile – swearing and verbally blaspheming one another on social media – during the campaign triggers a wider public conflict. Teenagers play an active role as novice voters in elections, yet verbal aggression of social conflicts on social media is prone to occur. This study is a multi-year research. In the first year, it mapped down the verbal aggression tendencies of young voters in Indonesia using literature and explanatory studies. It examined the theory and identified factors inducing polite behaviors. It was conducted in several areas around East Java for 6 months. The respondents in this study comprised 500 novice voters from designated provinces, with 100 samples from each. This quantitative research instrument involved verbal aggression, positive thinking, and positive communication as instruments analyzed and measured according to compatible measuring instruments. The study results indicated that teenagers who make the most of logic and common sense in thinking are not susceptible, especially to things that don't make sense. Logic teenagers prefer to ignore bad thoughts. Consequently, they hold a high sense of empathy once communicating, are calm, and tough to be emotionally provoked. Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menyelidiki hubungan antara regulasi emosi dan dukungan sosial dengan resiliensi remaja korban bullying di Surabaya. Hipotesis yang diajukan adalah bahwa hubungan ini positif. Penelitian kuantitatif korelasional ini melibatkan 130 remaja di Surabaya yang menjadi korban bullying. Sampel diambil secara random. Siswandi (2020) Emotional Regulation Questionnaire (ERQ), yang didasarkan pada dimensi Gross & John (2003), adalah metrik yang digunakan. Menurut teori Sarafino (1999), skala dukungan sosial menggunakan empat diensi. Di sisi lain, skala resiliensi menggunakan skala Connor-Davidson Resilience (CD-RISC), yang dikembangkan oleh Rinaldi (2011), yang didasarkan pada elemen Connor dan Davidson. Dengan nilai F = 53,991 dan nilai Sig = 0,000, analisis regresi berganda digunakan.

Abstract

Background: Soldiers in conflict areas face heightened death anxiety due to physical challenges, armed conflict, and harsh conditions. Social support and quality of life are vital for their psychological well-being.  Objective: To examine the role of quality of life as a mediator between social support and death anxiety among Indonesian National Armed Forces in Papua. Method: Correlational quantitative research involving 165 samples using the accidental sampling technique. Measurement using scales of death anxiety, social support, and quality of life. Path analysis was used to analyze the data. Results: The findings indicate a significant negative relationship between social support and death anxiety (r = -0.421, p < 0.001), as well as a significant positive relationship between social support and quality of life (r = 0.536, p < 0.001). There is a significant negative relationship between quality of life and death anxiety (r = -0.478, p < 0.001), which also acts as a mediator. Conclusion: Social support can improve the quality of life and reduce death anxiety among Indonesian National Armed Forces in Papua. This study suggests psychosocial interventions to improve soldiers' psychological well-being through enhancing social support and quality of life.   Keywords: Death anxiety; military personnel; Papua; quality of life; social support.   Abstrak Latar Belakang: Tugas prajurit di daerah konflik meningkatkan kecemasan terhadap kematian akibat tantangan fisik, konflik bersenjata, dan kondisi geografis yang sulit. Dukungan sosial serta kualitas hidup prajurit berperan penting dalam kesejahteraan psikologis mereka. Tujuan: Untuk menguji peran kualitas hidup sebagai mediator antara dukungan sosial dan kecemasan kematian pada prajurit TNI di Papua. Metode: Penelitian kuantitatif korelasional dengan melibatkan 165 sampel dipilih menggunakan teknik accidental sampling. Pengukuran dengan skala kecemasan terhadap kematian, dukungan sosial, dan kualitas hidup. Analisis jalur digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil: Temuan menunjukkan hubungan negatif signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan kecemasan kematian (r = -0,421, p < 0,001), serta hubungan positif signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan kualitas hidup (r = 0,536, p < 0,001). Hubungan negatif signifikan antara kualitas hidup dengan kecemasan kematian (r = -0,478, p < 0,001), sekaligus berperan sebagai mediator. Simpulan: Dukungan sosial yang kuat dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan mengurangi kecemasan terhadap kematian pada prajurit TNI di Papua. Penelitian ini menyarankan intervensi psikososial untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan psikologis prajurit melalui penguatan dukungan sosial dan kualitas hidup.   Kata Kunci: Dukungan sosial; kualitas hidup; kecemasan kematian; Papua, prajurit militer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Body Image with Consumptive Behavior in early adulthood consumers of beauty products. The research method used in this research is quantitative. Subjects were selected using accidental sampling of 111 participants. The data collection instrument used a consumptive behavior scale, a fear of missing out scale, and a body image scale. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the help of the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 26.0 for windows program. The results of the data analysis show that (1) there is a significant relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Body Image with Consumptive Behavior; (2) there is a significant relationship between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Consumptive Behavior; (3) there is no significant relationship between Body Image and Consumptive Behavior. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dan Citra Tubuh dengan Perilaku Konsumtif pada masa dewasa awal pengguna produk kecantikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Subjek dipilih menggunakan accidental sampling sebanyak 111 partisipan. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan skala perilaku konsumtif, skala fear of missing out, dan skala citra tubuh. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan program Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) 26.0 for windows. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dan Citra Tubuh dengan Perilaku Konsumtif; (2) terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) dengan Perilaku Konsumtif; (3) tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara Citra Tubuh dengan Perilaku Konsumtif.

Abstract

The rapid advancement of digital technology and the dynamic VUCA environment require state-owned enterprises such as PT PLN (Persero) to continuously adapt through effective human resource strategies. This study aims to examine the relationship between perceptions of Talent Management implementation and Workforce Agility, with Employee Engagement as a mediating variable, among employees of PT PLN (Persero) East Java and Bali Main Transmission Unit Headquarters. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 125 employees using validated perception scales and analyzed with regression and mediation tests. The findings indicate that Employee Engagement significantly mediates the relationship between perceptions of Talent Management and Workforce Agility, and that both Talent Management and Employee Engagement independently have a positive effect on Workforce Agility. These results suggest that integrated Talent Management and Employee Engagement initiatives are crucial in fostering agile and adaptive workforces, enabling organizations to respond effectively to industry transformations. The study recommends that PT PLN (Persero) and similar organizations prioritize strategic talent development and employee engagement to sustain competitiveness in an increasingly dynamic business landscape.
