Abstract

Simultaneous Stressing Machine is one of the stages in the prestressed concrete process, namely by providing tension on the steel wire (PC Bar or PC Wire) to overcome the weakness of concrete in withstanding tensile force. The purpose of this study focuses on the working stages of the stressing machine and the calculation of mechanical parameters. The work process of the simultaneous stressing machine consists of several stages starting from preparation, machine inspection, rod installation to the MSS, parameter input, stressing process, and technique and quality. The results of mechanical parameters such as tensile force, elongation, and strain are measured to evaluate the stressing results. With a tension parameter of 50 bar, the process produces a tensile force of 2,800 N, elongation of 0.055 m, and strain of 0.5%. This study provides technical insight into operating the MSS, supporting improved quality and efficiency in prestressed concrete production.

Abstract

This research discusses the manufacturing process of the 49JPH Capacity Up Pin using the Ta Shing Crown-4 lathe machine at PT. Tri Jaya Teknik Karawang. The material used is S45C steel, which has mechanical properties that support strength and wear resistance. The pin production process includes planning, material and tool selection, and several turning steps: facing, straight turning, chamfering, thread cutting M24x3, taper turning, and fillet finishing. Machining parameters were calculated to determine spindle speed, cutting speed, depth of cut, and feed rate. Quality inspection was carried out using a vernier caliper and screw pitch gauge with a tolerance of 0.01 mm. The results show that the manufacturing process successfully produced pins according to design, with product quality meeting standards without surface defects. This indicates that the combination of Ta Shing Crown-4 lathe, S45C steel, and carbide cutting tools is effective in producing precise and durable pins for industrial applications.

Abstract

The process of making sprockets using a lathe begins with rolling a suitable raw material, such as steel or another metal alloy. The raw material is then installed on the lathe machine table and clamped tightly. After that, the lathe knife is placed near the workpiece and regularly moved in the specified direction, cutting off excess material until it reaches the desired shape and size. Operating a lathe requires a skilled operator to produce sprockets with tight tolerances. The purpose of writing a practical work report at PT. Amanah Jaya Persada is to know the process of making sprockets and know the lathe and CNC processes in making sprockets. The conclusion from this research is that there are 4 processes for making sprockets at PT. Amanah Jaya Persada, namely making drawings using Solidwork, forming shaft holes using a lathe, forming chamfers using a lathe, forming a chain release (Undercut) using a lathe, and forming sprocket teeth using a CNC milling machine.

Abstract

Water quality is a critical determinant of ecosystem sustainability and the productivity of freshwater aquaculture. This study performed a systematic literature review (SLR) to assess the impact of water quality on the growth, health, and yield of freshwater fish. The research examines contemporary technical advancements, such as Internet of Things (IoT) systems, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), machine learning prediction models, and biotechnological methods for monitoring and managing water quality. The literature selection procedure employed the PRISMA framework and encompassed 136 articles sourced from the SCOPUS database. Following rigorous screening processes, three primary publications were chosen for additional examination. The review findings indicate that parameters like dissolved oxygen (DO), pH, ammonia, and temperature significantly influence fish health and production. Contemporary technologies, such IoT and UAVs, have demonstrated their capacity to enhance the effectiveness of water quality monitoring, whilst biotechnology provides novel options for the sustainable treatment of aquaculture waste. This research offers significant insights for scholars, policymakers, and practitioners in the advancement of more efficient and sustainable aquaculture methodologies.
