Abstract

The capital problem faced by MSME businessmen is the difficulty in reaching banks due to the inability to provide bankable requirements. BMT aims to develop productive businesses and invest in improving the quality of economic activity in the real sector, especially micro, small, and medium entrepreneurs. BMT in Banyumas Regency helps members overcome capital problems through a variety of products. This study aims to find out how MSMEs develop after getting financing from BMT in Banyumas Regency. Therefore, this study uses a quantitative approach with 150 samples and the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test ( two related samples test) as a tool. The results of the data analysis show that there is a significant difference between before and after the provision of financing on indicators of capital, sales turnover, income/profit, number of customers, and number of workers. Then, the results of the different tests show that the provision of financing is considered effective because it has given different results in a positive direction after the provision of financing. Except for the number of workers, the results of the analysis show that half of the sample shows no increase in the use of the number of workers.

Abstract

The majority of businesses in Kebumen Village, Baturaden, are still small, informal traders, with the main problems being low business legitimacy (NIB and Halal Certification) and a lack of professional branding skills. This hinders the competitiveness of local products on the broader market. The objective of this community service programme is to transform 20 small business groups into formal MSMEs by strengthening the legality and branding of their leading products. The method used is Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), which focuses on local potential through workshops and intensive technical assistance. As a result, there has been a significant increase in the awareness and commitment of business owners to obtain NIB and Halal Certification. Tactically, packaging prototypes and rebranding stickers have been produced, which enhance the visual value and credibility of the products. This programme has successfully laid the foundations for business professionalism and legality. Legality and a strong brand identity are crucial foundations for MSMEs to increase market access, capital, and achieve sustainable business growth.

Abstract

This study recontextualizes the time value of money (TVM) in Islamic economics through a maqashid al-shariah lens using a case study of Sharia-compliant gold investment at Pegadaian Syariah. A mixed methods sequential exploratory design was applied. Qualitative data were collected via document analysis and semi-structured interviews with 10 informants to derive maqashid-based indicators of time-related value. Quantitative data were gathered through a survey of Sharia gold investors and analyzed using multiple linear regression and mediation testing. Findings show that investors interpret time-related value not as interest-based compensation but as ethical utility embedded in service provision, risk management, and wealth preservation. Descriptive results indicate high perceptions of maqashid alignment (M=4.11) and Sharia compliance trust (M=4.24). Regression results reveal significant effects of maqashid alignment on investment decision (β=0.32; p=0.001) and cost fairness on investment decision (β=0.26; p=0.008). Sharia compliance trust strongly predicts continuance intention (β=0.39; p<0.001), while Sharia financial literacy improves investment decision quality (β=0.28; p=0.004). Trust partially mediates the maqashid alignment–continuance link. This study extends prior work by operationalizing maqashid-based time utility into measurable constructs and empirically testing it in a retail Sharia gold investment setting.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the management performance of UD Daya Prima Abadi, a business unit in the rural agribusiness sector located in Patikraja District, using the Malcolm Baldrige Criteria for Performance Excellence (MBCfPE) framework. Using a descriptive qualitative design, data were collected through observation and in-depth interviews, which were then converted into quantitative values using the ADLI (Approach, Implementation, Learning, and Integration) method. The results showed that UD Daya Prima Abadi obtained a total score of 601 points, which placed it in the category of Emerging Industry Leaders at the Average level. This score indicates that the business unit has a basic system that is running with positive results, but still requires continuous improvement, especially in aspects of customer focus and operational efficiency. The formulated development strategies include customer communication innovations that are adaptive to rural community conditions, stock optimization to prevent waste, and strengthening business ethics for business sustainability.
