Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out an overview of the classroom management model for children who are slow learner in the New Normal Era at SDN 13 Kolo. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research with data sources from teachers and homeroom teachers. Data collection techniques are carried out by interviewing, observing and validating data carried out by extending observations, triangulation and member checks, then analyzed by following the concepts of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that there is a class management model for children to be slow learner by creating a learning climate through methods of providing practical activities, applauding enthusiasm to build confidence in children slow learner, providing ice breaking to relieve boredom of children slow to learn, inviting children to be slow learner on the beach, using tab media to strengthen children's learning slow to learn and providing left brain balancing and right brain via YouTube video. The classroom arrangement for children to learn to use the seating model in a circular manner in order to interact with peers, make group discussions with peers. Designing a class model using student drawings, designing a sitting position on the reading floor, good lighting conditions, teacher interaction model to children slow learner using a one-way interaction method by directly approaching the child to be given special services in the context of Bima local culture, namely ‘ngoa ra tei’ (naturing) in the hope that children can foster enthusiasm in learning and can interact with peers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat pengaruh program Gemar Literasi terhadap kemampuan mengajar guru dan literasi dasar siswa pada sekolah sasaran di Kecamatan Monta. Penelitian ini melibatkan 24 orang guru kelas rendah dan 132 siswa kelas 1 di Kecamatan Monta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa adanya peningkatan kemampuan guru dalam mengelola pembelajaran literasi di sekolah sehingga berdampak pada peningkatan kemampuan literasi dasar siswa pada asesmen awal dan akhir. Kemampuan literasi dasar siswa level pemula terjadi penurunan yang sangat drastis dari 70,45% ke 0%. Sebaliknya, pada empat level lainnya terjadi peningkatan yaitu pada level huruf sebesar 22,57%, level kata sebesar 31,92%, level paragraf sebesar 6,72%, dan level cerita sebesar 9,24%. Penelitian ini juga merekomendasikan agar program Gemar Literasi khususnya pembelajaran TaRL (Teaching at The Right Level) agar diduplikasi ke semua sekolah yang ada di Kabupaten Bima, Nusa Tenggara Barat.

Abstract

Banyak mahasiswa yang memasuki perguruan tinggi dengan harapan dan tujuan tertentu, seperti mencapai prestasi akademik yang baik dan lulus tepat waktu. Prestasi akademis mencerminkan prestasi belajar siswa, sehingga menyebabkan perubahan pengetahuan, pemahaman, dan penerapan dalam bidang studinya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian kualitatif menitikberatkan pada pemahaman mendalam terhadap suatu permasalahan, ditandai dengan analisis deskriptif serta menekankan pada proses dan makna. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mendeskripsikan profil kinerja akademik mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam organisasi internal kampus di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (STISIP) Mbojo Bima. Penelitian dilakukan di Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Politik (STISIP) Mbojo Bima, dipilih secara purposif berdasarkan pertimbangan tertentu, termasuk faktor subjektif. Penelitian menemukan bahwa mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam organisasi kampus menunjukkan berbagai tingkat kecerdasan, kesehatan fisik, minat, bakat, dan motivasi. Kecerdasan dan prestasi akademik siswa dipengaruhi oleh orientasi belajarnya; mereka yang menyeimbangkan aktivitas organisasi dan studi cenderung memiliki kinerja akademik yang lebih baik. Secara fisik, mahasiswa yang terlibat dalam organisasi umumnya dilatih untuk menangani tantangan fisik dan mental. Minat dan bakat mahasiswa bermacam-macam, termasuk bidang musik, kerelawanan, pelestarian lingkungan, studi Islam, atau organisasi departemen. Motivasi mereka bergabung dalam organisasi adalah untuk mengembangkan potensi pribadi dan menerapkan keterampilannya melalui kegiatan organisasi. Penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa faktor eksternal, seperti kondisi keluarga, lingkungan kampus, dan konteks masyarakat, mempengaruhi prestasi akademik mahasiswa. Dukungan keluarga membantu dalam pembelajaran dan prestasi akademik, sementara lingkungan kampus yang mendukung dengan fasilitas yang memadai sangat penting dalam melibatkan mahasiswa dalam beraktivitas. Selain itu, siswa yang aktif dalam organisasi lebih cenderung berpartisipasi dalam kegiatan masyarakat, sehingga memungkinkan mereka untuk menerapkan pengetahuan mereka dan mendapatkan pengalaman baru yang meningkatkan kinerja akademik mereka.

Abstract

Learning strategies in developing the literacy skills of elementary school children in Bima district can be done through playing while learning. Learning activities carried out by elementary school (SD) teachers in helping students especially in literacy for students with learning difficulties (dyslexia) can be done in various ways. One of them is by implementing game activities in the learning process. The game activities here are the traditional Bima game activities (mpa'a mcimi). This activity can be modified by using word cards (flashcards) in it. Efforts made in helping students with learning difficulties (dyslexia) carried out at Jorato Sape Public Elementary School, Bima Regency used the implementation method which was carried out by checking the initial literacy skills of students in grades 1 to grade 5, implementing play activities, and evaluating. From the initial data, the ability of students' learning difficulties varies, from difficulty distinguishing letters, to difficulty combining syllables. While the application of the team uses games by utilizing word cards (flashcards) in these traditional games. Of the 14 students who had learning difficulties, 4 of them showed changes in recognizing letters better with 2 treatments. While 10 other students have not shown optimal changes. This is due to the lack of time and motivation from within the students.

Abstract

In the current educational context, the effectiveness of inclusive classroom management in improving student learning achievement in elementary schools has become an urgent topic for research. This study aims to analyze the influence of inclusive classroom management on student learning achievement, considering variables such as adaptive teaching strategies, support for the learning environment, and dynamics of student interaction. Using quantitative methods with a survey research design, this study involved a sample of 40 elementary school students from the city of Bima, selected through purposive sampling technique, considering the specific characteristics of the population studied. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive statistics and linear regression tests to determine the impact of inclusive classroom management on learning achievement. The results show a significant positive effect of inclusive classroom management on student learning achievement, reaffirming the importance of adapting teaching strategies and creating a supportive learning environment in inclusive classrooms. This conclusion supports the argument that effective inclusive classroom management practices are essential for improving student learning outcomes. Based on these findings, this study recommends enhancing teacher capacity through continuous professional training in inclusive classroom management and the development of a more inclusive curriculum to support the learning success of all students.

Abstract

The urgency of implementing the Empowerment of Regional Featured Product Business Partners program in the PUGAR Farmers in Sanolo Village as an effort to increase the quality and quantity of sustainable salt production. The aim of this program is to apply integrated Solar House Evaporation (SHE) technology to sustainable salt production. This activity is carried out through several stages starting with program outreach activities to partners. The next stage is making SHE including preparing tools and materials for making SHE, making SHE frames, installing plastic roofs, installing plastic geomembranes, installing filter pipes. The final stage is salt production which includes preparing raw water/old water, the old water is channeled to the crystallization table at the SHE through a filter pipe, the salt crystallization process, salt harvesting and drying. The results obtained from this activity are that the salt product produced using SHE technology has better quality compared to ponds that use soil as a crystallization table. In addition, the amount of salt produced has increased by around 300%. Salt production can be carried out throughout the season or does not affect the weather. Besides that, the salt products produced are more hygienic because they are protected from pollution.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Wordwall media on improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students in Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at SDN Inpres Kombo. The background of this study is the low critical thinking ability of students, indicated by difficulties in analyzing problems, formulating solutions, and providing logical reasons. This condition is worsened by the predominantly conventional teaching methods, which results in low student engagement during the learning process. This study employed a quasi-experimental method with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The sample consisted of 18 students, including 10 females and 8 males, selected through saturated sampling. The instrument used was a 10-item multiple-choice test based on Ennis's critical thinking indicators: basic clarification, decision-making fundamentals, inference, advanced clarification, and strategy/tactics. Data analysis involved descriptive and inferential statistics (paired sample t-test). The results showed a significant increase in the students' average scores from the pretest to the posttest. The t-test significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 indicates that Wordwall media has a significant effect on improving students' critical thinking skills and can be an effective, interactive, and enjoyable learning innovation in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi level kemampuan belajar mandiri mahasiswa dalam pengalaman belajar IPS. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah metode survei kuantitatif dengan instrumen berupa angket dengan populasi 48 mahasiswa program studi PGSD. Analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa mahasiswa memiliki level kemampuan belajar mandiri yang tergolong baik yang dibuktikan dengan hasil penelitian yang menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata kemampuan belajar mandiri yaitu 94,1875 dan berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase 46% dari total keseluruhan mahasiswa dengan jumlah mahasiswa sebanyak 22 orang dinyatakan memiliki kemampuan belajar mandiri yang baik. Sehingga menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran mandiri efektif, dan tujuannya sekarang adalah untuk mempertahankan kemajuan dengan mengidentifikasi kekuatan dan metode dalam pembelajaran mandiri mahasiswa yang lebih efektif. Peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa bimbingan untuk melatih mahasiswa dalam keterampilan belajar mandiri masih dibutuhkan, implementasi pembelajaran IPS yang sudah terlihat bagus dan bermakna memberikan ruang kepada mahasiswa mengeksplorasi pengetahuan dan menanamkan nilai karakter dari pengalaman belajar.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan membaca siswa di sekolah SD saat ini menjadi isu yang perlu diperhatikan. Perlu adanya media yang kominikatif dan pendekatan belajar yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penelitian ini untuk menguji ada atau tidaknya pengaruh media e-book dengan pendekatan TaRL terhadap peningkatan kemampuan membaca siswa. Penelitian menggunakan metode quasi eksperimen dengan desain one-group pretest-posttes. Data diperoleh dari sebanyak 25 siswa kelas II di salah satu SD di Kota Bima NTB melalui instrumen tes kemampuan membaca siswa pada setiap level. Data di analisis secara deskriptif dan inferensial menggunakan SPSS Versi 25. Analisis inferensial terdiri dari uji normalitas dan uji Hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa rata-rata pre-test ke post-test terjadi peningkatan dari 35,56 menjadi 53,60. Uji normalitas menujukkan bahwa data tidak berdistribusi normal sehingga uji Hipotesis menggunakan pendekatan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil akhir menujukkan bahwa nilai p sig < 0,05 yang berarti terdapat perbedaan kemampuan awal dan kemampuan akhir membaca siswa setelah diterapkan media e-book dengan pendekatan TaRL. Kesimpulannya terdapat perbedaan kemampuan membaca siswa antara sebelum dan setelah diterapkanya media e-book dengan pendekatan TaRL. Hal ini menujukkan bahwa integrasi teknologi dalam pendidikan, seperti penggunaan e-book, dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar jika disertai dengan strategi pedagogis yang tepat seperti pendekatan TaRL.
