Abstract

Precision data plays a crucial role in shaping public policies, which have a positive impact on economic dynamics and social structures. Fostering an inclusive and thriving digital culture enhances communication and public participation in political and economic processes, leading to better decision-making that is responsive to people's needs. This article aims to explore the relationship between precision data, political economy, and digital culture, and how the utilisation of precision data influences the dynamics of political economy within digital culture. It aims to understand how data and new technologies influence village development, rural revitalization, and communication in the digital era. The research employs a literature review method, analyzing previous relevant research articles. The findings demonstrate that Digital Development Precision can effectively assess and analyse indicators of the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals in rural areas. There is also a strong correlation between markets and politics, which shape political actions and incentives. Market structures significantly impact political behaviour. Within the context of rural revitalization, big data has accelerated change by digitising rural development communication, bringing about improvements in various aspects of rural society and transforming the pattern of political communication through social media platforms. This transformation enables effective communication with target audiences.

Abstract

Farmers engage in various sectors (agriculture and non-agriculture) to earn income in order to meet their diverse household needs. Based on various pieces of literature, the agricultural sector serves as a gauge for the income level of rural farming households and provides a greater contribution than the non-agricultural sector. The purpose of this research is to analyze the mathematical modeling of household income among farmer households and to assess the contribution of the agricultural sector to households in Singosari Village, Tanggamus Regency. This study employs a quantitative method with a case study approach. The population in this study consisted of 464 heads of households, from which a sample of 30 households was selected. The respondents in this study were farmer households, and data were collected through surveys using questionnaires, documentation, and literature studies related to the mathematical modeling of income and the contribution of the agricultural sector to people's livelihoods. Data processing was conducted using SPSS software version 26, assisted by Microsoft Excel, and data analysis was performed using a simple linear regression model. The findings of this study indicate that, in Singosari Village, the agricultural income variable significantly influences the household income variable, as determined from the significance value of the simple linear regression results. Keywords: Agricultural income, household income, mathematical modeling, simple linear regression, singosari farmersMSC2020: 62P25

Abstract

The industrial sector is considered as one of the biggest polluters and waste generators. Since the big industry started, pollution has increased rapidly. The result of the production process is not only in the form of finished goods that can be sold, but the remaining production waste can damage the environment. The purpose of this study is to describe the sociological impacts of the existence of the rice milling industry. This researcher used a literature study by reading, processing, and writing readings from various reference sources. The results of the study show that this industry has a positive impact on improving the welfare of the community and for the benefits of industrial owners. In addition, it has a negative impact on the environment, for workers, and for the surrounding community. So that prevention and control are needed from the workers themselves, the government through policy formation, control from the surrounding community and the creation of an industrial climate by taking into account Environmental Impact Analysis, environmentally friendly industries and the principles of eco-efficiency and zero waste.

Abstract

The book Anthropology of Cultural Transformation I: Togetherness and Separation by Zhao analyzes cultural change amid globalization and technological advancement. Zhao explores the duality between togetherness and separation in modern social dynamics, demonstrating how cultural identities adapt. Through ethnographic case studies and comparisons with thinkers like Clifford Geertz and Arjun Appadurai, the book invites readers to reflect on the impact of these changes on cultural practices and social cohesion. While Zhao highlights technology's role in fostering connectivity, he also emphasizes the effects of cultural homogenization. This book is relevant for both academics and policymakers who need to support cultural diversity amid global transformation.

Abstract

Stunting is a growth failure condition caused by inadequate nutrition during a child's developmental years. In Indonesia, stunted toddlers are prevalent, particularly in Lampung Province, where rates exceed the WHO standard of 20%. In 2019, the Tanggamus region had a stunting prevalence of 27.39%. This study examines the impact of the KESURGA demonstration plot intervention, which aims to promote balanced nutrition in Kagungan Village, Kota Agung Timur District, using a qualitative phenomenological approach. Data were gathered through observations, in-depth interviews, and documentation analysis. The findings indicate that the KESURGA intervention, which included training, garden development, and socialization activities, resulted in a reduction in stunting rates from 19.17% in 2020 to 14.18% in 2021. Key supporting factors included effective communication, availability of resources, aligned policies, and positive attitudes. Challenges such as economic conditions of underprivileged families, the Covid-19 pandemic, and a lack of information hindered progress. These results highlight that multi-stakeholder, nutrition-focused interventions can significantly reduce stunting. This study provides qualitative evidence of locally adaptable strategies that contribute to public health nutrition interventions in rural Indonesia, offering insights for global health initiatives. It demonstrates how community-driven, resource-sensitive, and policy-aligned interventions can address malnutrition challenges in low- and middle-income countries.
