Abstract

Medical image is an invaluable tool in the detection of diseases or abnormalities in human organs. The low quality of medical images cause difficulty in observing the objects contained in the image, causing errors in detection. This research develops a method for improving the quality of medical images so that the edges of objects more clearly. This method is called Enhancement multiple Morphological Gradient Enhancement (EmMG). The method used at medical images had different formats, that as Computed Tomography Scan (CT-Scan) with format type Windows bitmap (bmp), Chest X-Ray with format type Joint Photographic Experts Group (jpg) and Panoramic X-Ray with format type Portable Network Graphics (png). The method developed produces images that can further clarify the edge of the object in the medical image, making it easier to detect diseases or abnormalities in the human body. This method can used as one of the solutions in medical help to improve the accuracy in detecting objects in medical images because the edge of the objects seen clearly.

Abstract

Abstract

Abstract

Digital photos are generated from the camera. In the photo there are some object that can be observed. The object in images is a representation of the fact that in the real world. The size of an object in a digital image can represent the true size of an image object with a certain size scale. The actual size of the object in the photo can not be known directly. Digital photos used in the research is the image generated from the camera phone with 8MB resolution and the distance of the camera to photo objects as far as 1, 3 and 5 meters with 3 different objects, ie gallons, chairs and legs. The size of objects in a digital image will be measured using an application created with the C # programming language. Measuring objects in photos using Euclidean Distance. Next is calculated the actual size of the object that is in the photo by using trigonometric function. The test result of 3 objects on digital photos with 3 different distances obtained the actual object size with an accuracy are 99,993%.

Abstract

The organization of a political party is one organization that must have an organizational structure. Each cadre who sits in the structure must have skills that match his field. The goal is for the organization to grow better. For each cadre to occupy the appropriate structure, identification must be performed. The method used to identify is Profile Matching on the data of each prospective member. Based on the test results obtained cadre with a special aspect of 60% and the general aspect of 40% is the right one. Then this method is suiTabel to be used in identifying cadres who will occupy positions in organizational structure.

Abstract

Services for laboratory competency test participants must be increased for each period. With the number of participants fluctuating, the laboratory must prepare and predict how many facilities will be used to support these activities, such as laboratory rooms, exam questions, and other equipment. To overcome this problem, a method is needed to predict the number of participants in the coming period. In this study, the Least Square method is used to predict participants in the next period. This method managed to get the number of predictions in the coming period with a prediction error rate of 9.99% using the Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The empirical results show that this research is very helpful for the laboratory in preparing laboratory competence examination facilities

Abstract

Image results from quality edge detection are not optimal. From these problems a method is needed to improve the image quality of edge detection. The method used is Dilation Morphology on the results of edge detection of batik patterns. The results of testing the improved image quality of edge detection 10 batik patterns using Dilation Morphology show that Canny operators are able to produce very high accuracy from operators Robert and Sobel, with the percentage of Canny operators is 80%. While Robert operators with a percentage of 40% and Sobel operators 60%. The application of Dilation Morphology to operators Robert, Sobel and Canny can improve image quality of edge detection and improve accuracy in batik patterns.

Abstract

Student learning modalities are important to be identified by teachers and students. Because the success of students in the field of academics is supported by the appropriate student learning modalities. Often occurs in the process of teaching and learning teachers do not know the modalities of student learning so that the material in teaching teachers difficult to accept by students. Appropriate learning modalities that are in accordance with the methods taught by the teacher need to be built in an Expert System. Expert System that is processed in this research is taken from the expertise of teachers of Senior High School Counseling Guidance 1 Tilatang Kamang by using Forward Chaining method. Learning modalities are processed using expert systems created with php programming languages ​​and mysql databases. Furthermore, this expert system can determine the modalities of visual learning, auditory and kinesthetic. The result of testing on this method is able to determine the learning modality in the students with the accuracy and the speed is good. Expert system test results have been able to determine student learning modalities clearly and can already be recommended to help teachers and students in improving the way students learn the right.

Abstract

Fungal skin disease is a type of disease that is often suffered people in the tropics. Phenomena in the community often assume that this disease will heal by itself. However, if left the effects of fungal skin disease can worsen the sufferer condition. The importance of early detection and treatment is very necessary, but this requires patients go to hospital or doctor so that patients spend a lot of time and money. For this reason, was build an android expert system with speech to early diagnose fungal skin diseases. From this initial diagnosis will save time and money and provide alternative prevention for sufferers. The method used in this study is the Certainty Factor of 20 patients. The accuracy of the test results to the system compared to the results of the doctor's diagnosis is 95%. So that, this expert system can be an early alternative in diagnose fungal skin diseases in humans.
