Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in supporting Indonesia's economy, contributing 61.07% to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP). However, MSMEs still face various challenges, particularly low productivity due to limited access to technology and production equipment. A clear example is Kedai Ndeso, located in Jiyu Village, Kutorejo District, Mojokerto Regency. This small food business faces inefficiencies in the noodle boiling process, which is still done manually using conventional methods, resulting in limited production capacity and longer service times. Through this community service program, the implementation team aimed to develop and apply an appropriate technology innovation in the form of a multi-strainer noodle boiler to help improve MSME productivity. The method used was a participatory approach, actively involving the Kedai Ndeso owner throughout each stage of the program, which was conducted from July 13 to 24, 2025. The developed noodle boiler measures 35x35x35 cm and is made of food-grade stainless steel. It features six separate strainers, allowing six portions of noodles to be cooked simultaneously in the same amount of time.nTesting results demonstrated that this tool significantly increased production efficiency without compromising the quality of the noodles. It also led to operational cost savings, especially in terms of energy use and labor time. Additionally, training and outreach activities were carried out to ensure effective knowledge transfer to the MSME owner. This appropriate technology innovation has proven to be a practical solution for MSMEs in the culinary sector, helping them increase productivity and competitiveness while maintaining consistent product quality and ensuring food safety. Therefore, this initiative provides a tangible contribution to supporting the sustainability and independence of small enterprises in rural areas, empowering them to compete more effectively in the modern economy.

Abstract

This article about community service activities discusses the transformation of the electromedical profession as a response to technological developments in the management of electromedical equipment with the aim of improving the quality of health services. This transformation includes changes in the roles, skills and responsibilities of electromedical professionals to adapt and optimize increasingly complex electromedical equipment. The results of this workshop show that the transformation of the electromedical profession has a positive impact on the management of electromedical equipment and the quality of health services. Electromedical professionals involved in this transformation experience increased competency and effectiveness in caring for, maintaining, and repairing electromedical equipment. Apart from that, the application of the latest technology also allows for more efficient monitoring and management of electromedical equipment. Abstract

Abstract. This study evaluates the effectiveness of a robotics learning approach starting with practical electronics, analog robot design, and basic mechanics in enhancing elementary school students' interest in learning. The research also explores how students’ economic backgrounds influence their enthusiasm for robotics education. The subjects were 25 fifth-grade students from SDN Margorejo 1 Surabaya, selected based on specific criteria, including middle-income family backgrounds. The quasi-experimental research design included pre-test and post-test stages. Activities comprised four phases: introduction to practical electronics, simple analog robot design, basic robotics mechanics training, and robot integration and testing. Data were collected through questionnaires, observations, interviews, and project assessments. Descriptive analysis and non-parametric statistical tests measured changes in students’ interest, while qualitative methods examined economic factors affecting enthusiasm. Results revealed a 23% average increase in students’ interest in robotics. Additionally, 88% of students successfully built simple robots demonstrating creativity and functionality. Students from middle-income families maintained high enthusiasm, showing that economic constraints did not significantly hinder participation. This integrated approach effectively fosters technological interest, aligns with STEM concepts, and prepares students for technology-driven challenges. The study contributes practically and theoretically to robotics learning models for elementary education. Abstract

Plastic seed products are products made from recycled plastic materials such as raw materials for plastic bags and some screen printing plastics. UD. ABC is a company that produces PP (Polypropylene) plastic pellets. The existing problems include the discovery of instability in the production of plastic pellets which is in a negative direction for the company, namely there are product defects in plastic pellet products that exceed the standard defect tolerance limit of the company by 2%. Based on the Pareto diagram, it can show that the type of protrusion defect is 69.56% more dominant than the type of connecting defect, which is 30.44%. Based on the control chart based on the p-chart, it shows that some dates are outside the limits of the control chart, namely the sample lot number 3 (March) of 0.0352, 4 (April) 0.0273, 7 (July) 0, 0134, 8 (August) 0.271. The data that comes out of the control chart limits exceeds the upper control limit (BKA/UCL) of 0.02649 and the lower control limit (BKB/LCL) of 0.02395. So what must be done to repair the engine factor is to carry out periodic briefings on how the machine works starting from setting the temperature and changing the filter. Meanwhile, the human factors section, namely directing the replacement of machine filter workers with temperature operators so that workers do not get tired easily, conducting periodic supervision of each worker for the leader and providing guidance on knowledge about machine work systems, mixing raw materials and operating machine temperature controls regularly.

Abstract

Tujuan dari analisis pengendalian persediaan adalah untuk mengoptimalkan jumlah persediaan oli mesin mobil di toko Fifa Motor dengan menggunakan metode Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Hal ini dilakukan karena toko Fifa Motor mengalami masalah dalam memperkirakan permintaan, yang mengakibatkan pembelian yang berlebihan atau kekurangan stok. Metode EOQ digunakan untuk menentukan jumlah persediaan yang tepat, dengan mempertimbangkan biaya-biaya yang relevan seperti biaya pembelian, biaya pemesanan, dan biaya penyimpanan. Dalam analisis ini, juga dilakukan perhitungan frekuensi pemesanan, safety stock, dan re-order point untuk memastikan pengendalian persediaan yang efektif dan efisien. Dengan menggunakan metode EOQ, diharapkan biaya yang dikeluarkan oleh toko Fifa Motor dapat diminimalkan ketika melakukan pemesanan stok barang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pemesanan ekonomis oli mesin dengan jumlah pembelian sebesar 672 galon untuk setiap pesanan, untuk persediaan pengaman (Safety Stock) sebanyak 160-239 galon per tahun dan 13-20 galon per bulan untuk setiap jenis oli, dan titik pemesanan kembali (Re Order Point) ketika stok oli mesin mobil mencapai 5-7 galon untuk setiap jenis oli.

Abstract

The perception of complexity and a lack of real-world relevance often hinder elementary school students' interest in robotics. This study aimed to evaluate the effectiveness of creative project-based learning in building a strong foundation in robotics and enhancing student engagement at SD Margorejo 1 Surabaya. By integrating design thinking principles and project-based learning, this approach sought to create authentic and meaningful learning experiences. Employing a qualitative case study methodology with a participatory action research design, fifth-grade students were involved in a series of robotics projects designed to address real-world problems in their local environment. Data were collected through participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and project artifact analysis. The findings revealed that creative project-based learning significantly increased students' interest in robotics. Students not only grasped fundamental robotics concepts but also developed critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration skills. Moreover, this approach effectively strengthened students' understanding of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) concepts and fostered awareness of robotics' relevance in daily life. This study concludes that creative project-based learning is an effective strategy for building a strong robotics foundation and cultivating student interest at the elementary school level.

Abstract

Sumber daya manusia merupakan elemen krusial dalam keberlangsungan proses produksi, karena jumlah tenaga kerja yang sesuai dengan beban kerja akan berpengaruh langsung terhadap produktivitas, kualitas produk, serta efisiensi biaya operasional perusahaan. Penelitian ini dilakukan di PT Kasa Husada Wira Jatim, sebuah perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang produksi alat kesehatan, dengan tujuan menentukan jumlah tenaga kerja optimal pada proses produksi kasa lipat. Penentuan kebutuhan tenaga kerja dilakukan menggunakan metode Work Load Analysis (WLA), yang mampu mengukur beban kerja aktual berdasarkan waktu rata-rata, standar deviasi, kecukupan data, serta performance rating dari setiap elemen kerja. Elemen-elemen yang dianalisis mencakup proses penerimaan bahan baku, pemeriksaan kualitas, pemotongan, pelipatan, hingga tahap pengemasan. Seluruh tahapan tersebut diukur secara sistematis untuk memperoleh gambaran akurat mengenai waktu baku yang dibutuhkan dalam menyelesaikan setiap aktivitas produksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh data telah memenuhi batas kecukupan sehingga valid untuk digunakan dalam perhitungan kebutuhan tenaga kerja. Berdasarkan analisis waktu baku dan tingkat beban kerja, diperoleh jumlah tenaga kerja optimal yang diperlukan guna mencapai target produksi dengan efisiensi maksimal. Temuan ini memberikan gambaran penting bagi perusahaan dalam menyusun strategi pengelolaan sumber daya manusia yang lebih efektif, adaptif, dan berkelanjutan. Selain itu, penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi dalam meningkatkan produktivitas serta memastikan kualitas produk tetap terjaga melalui penataan tenaga kerja yang tepat dan terukur

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the effectiveness of project-based learning in increasing technological literacy in elementary school students. Activities were carried out for three months for 25 class V students at SDN Margorejo 1 Surabaya. The material includes an introduction to basic electronic components, sensors, and simple robot assembly such as line follower and obstacle avoidance. The research used a mixed-method approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The main instruments are a technology literacy test and a participatory observation sheet. The results showed an increase in the average score from 48.2 (pretest) to 78.4 (posttest), with the t-test results showing significance (p < 0.05). Qualitatively, students show high enthusiasm, increased curiosity, as well as collaborative and problem-solving abilities. These results indicate that robotics project-based learning is effective in increasing the technological literacy of elementary school-aged children and is worthy of being integrated into basic STEM learning.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of an integrated analog–digital robotics learning model to improve computational thinking skills among elementary school students. The learning activities were arranged progressively, starting from analog sensor-based robotics experiments and continuing to programmable digital robot control. A total of 30 fifth-grade students participated in a four-week intervention program involving hands-on robotics activities. Students’ computational thinking abilities were evaluated through four dimensions: decomposition, pattern recognition, abstraction, and algorithmic thinking. The findings revealed improvements in all assessed indicators. The average score increased from 61.3 on the pretest to 82.7 on the posttest, with a medium normalized gain (N-gain) of 0.55. Statistical analysis using a paired-sample t-test also showed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (p < 0.05). These results indicate that integrated robotics learning can provide meaningful support for developing computational thinking skills in primary education.   Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan model pembelajaran robotika analog-digital terpadu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir komputasi pada siswa sekolah dasar. Kegiatan pembelajaran disusun secara progresif, dimulai dari eksperimen robotika berbasis sensor analog dan dilanjutkan dengan pengendalian robot digital yang dapat diprogram. Sebanyak 30 siswa kelas lima berpartisipasi dalam program intervensi empat minggu yang melibatkan aktivitas robotika langsung. Kemampuan berpikir komputasi siswa dievaluasi melalui empat dimensi: dekomposisi, pengenalan pola, abstraksi, dan berpikir algoritmik. Temuan ini menunjukkan adanya perbaikan pada seluruh indikator yang dinilai. Nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 61,3 pada pretest menjadi 82,7 pada posttest, dengan gain ternormalisasi sedang (N-gain) sebesar 0,55. Analisis statistik menggunakan uji-t berpasangan juga menunjukkan perbedaan yang signifikan antara skor pretest dan posttest (p < 0,05). Hasil tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran robotika terpadu dapat memberikan dukungan yang berarti bagi pengembangan keterampilan berpikir komputasi pada pendidikan dasar.

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan manufaktur cat jenis water base untuk interior yang menghadapi kendala ketidakstabilan target produksi akibat inefisiensi waktu dan postur kerja tidak ergonomis pada proses penuangan cairan secara manual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang alat pengukur cairan otomatis yang ergonomis guna meminimalkan tingkat risiko postur kerja serta mengevaluasi peningkatan efisiensi waktu penimbangan. Metodologi yang digunakan mencakup pengukuran Antropometri untuk menentukan dimensi alat yang presisi, metode Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) untuk evaluasi objektif risiko postur tubuh, serta kuesioner Nordic Body Map (NBM) untuk memetakan keluhan otot pekerja. Temuan utama menunjukkan bahwa sebelum perbaikan, waktu rata-rata penimbangan mencapai 64,3 detik dengan skor REBA 10 (Kategori Risiko Tinggi) dan skor NBM 52-66 (Kategori Sedang). Setelah implementasi prototipe alat otomatis, durasi penimbangan terpangkas menjadi 39,2 detik, menghasilkan peningkatan efisiensi waktu sebesar 39,04%. Evaluasi setelah perancangan a;at membuktikan skor REBA berhasil diturunkan menjadi 1 (Risiko Rendah) dan skor NBM turun ke rentang 32-38 (Risiko Rendah). Kesimpulannya, perancangan alat bantu ini mampu mengurangi beban statis berlebih, mencegah potensi cedera musculoskeletal, dan mempercepat siklus kerja. Penelitian ini memberikan solusi terukur bagi perusahaan dalam menciptakan lingkungan operasional yang lebih aman dan produktif.
