Abstract

When other foreign language development is creeping to its peak, Arabic language still hasn’t defined its position in the world’s main stream of rapid changing.  Many people –from students to learners of Arabic language both in formal or non formal institution- haven’t shown their serious effort to put Arabic as a language of science and technology. This condition will stay exactly the same in next period if the Arabic language teaching is not supported by professional and competent Arabic teachers.

Abstract

To make a teaching and learning effective and efficient, it is needed a systematic management of classroom. The components supporting a good management are teaching objectives, students, teachers, methods, facilities, environment, and evaluation. Each component influences the success of learning. Yet, among those components, teacher is the most important since a teacher is so dynamic that he will be able to manage and drive the other components.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi ke arah serba digital membuat manusia secara umum memiliki gaya hidup baru yang tidak dapat dilepaskan dari perangkat yang serba elektronik. Teknologi disinyalir digunakan manusia untuk mempermudah melakukan apapun tugas dan pekerjaan. Peran penting teknologi inilah yang membawa peradaban manusia memasuki era digital. Akibatnya dampak negatif dari perkembangan teknologi tersebut mengakibatkan degradasi moral berbentuk kenakalan remaja. Pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan dan pemahaman bagi siswa-siswi tentang jenis-jenis, akibat dan konsekuensi bahaya kenakalan remaja serta pentingnya mempelajari nilai moral dalam mengantisipasi kenakalan remaja. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di MTs Ar-Rosyidin tepatnya di Dsn. Ponen, Ds, Pulogedang, Kec. Tembelang, Kab. Jombang. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan pada hari sabtu, 15 Okober 2022 dengan menggunakan metode sosialisasi dan workshop. Peserta kegiatan sebanyak 40 siswa yang terdiri dari kelas VIII dan IX. Luaran yang dicapai berupa video animasi digital yang di upload di youtube. Hasil pengabdian ini untuk membekali para siswa siswi MTs Ar- Rosyidin dengan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang jenis-jenis kenakalan remaja, sebab akibat serta konsekuensi yang timbul akibat kenakalan remaja dan pentingnya nilai moral dalam mengantisipasi bahaya kenakalan remaja melalui video animasi digital.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran berbasis Pop Up Book bertujuan untuk: (1) Membantu mengoptimalkan pembelajaran di TPQ mengenai media pembelajaran yang inovatif. (2) Meningkatkan minat belajar pada murid. (3) Meningkatkan kemampuan guru dalam mengajar dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran Pop Up, sementara metode pendekatan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini menggunakan Service Learning (SL), dan hasil yang dicapai dalam kegiatan penerapan media pembelajaran pop-up book yaitu berupa pemahaman siswa siswi TPQ Az-Zakiyah terhadap materi dasar tajwid, thaharah, dan sholat, dalam kegiatan ini meyimpilkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat Unwaha dalam program meningkatkan minat belajar keagamaan melalui media pembelajaran pop-up book yang dapat disimpulkan sebagai berikut: (1)Mengoptimalkan dan meningkatkan pengembangan pada media pembelajaran yang digunakan di TPQ Az-Zakiyah. (2)Meningkatkan minat belajar siswa-siwi TPQ salah satunya yakni menggunakan media pop-up book. (3)Memberikan wawasan dan pengetahuan baru mengenai suatu alat media pembelajaran yang inovatif serta interaktif dengan pembahasan materi atau isi buku yang lebih mudah dipahami.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze: (1) the lecturer's attempts to upgrade teaching activities in Arabic language teaching during the Covid-19 pandemic for students of the Department of Teaching Arabic; (2) the factors hindering the lecturer in promoting teaching activities in teaching Arabic during the Covid-19 pandemi; and (3) the factors that help the lecturer in promoting teaching activities in teaching Arabic during the Covid-19 epidemic. Type of this research is a case study with a qualitative approach. The method of data collection is: interviewing, observing, documenting and analyzing the results in three steps: data collection, simplifying or reducing data, data presentation, and conclusion. The results show that: 1) efforts by lecturers to promote Arabic teaching and learning activities during the Covid-19 pandemic, including preparing educational plans according to needs; realization of educational planning; Carrying out appropriate evaluations. 2) factors that facilitate the online learning process during the COVID-19 pandemic include learning flexibility, a supportive internet connection; the government policies and institutions support; availability of supporting facilities; lecturers who are quite proficient in using technology, and intensive attention from lecturers; 3) Some of the obstacles faced by lecturers during distance learning, namely: the difficulty of having two-way communication between lecturers and students; internet connection is not evenly distributed in several places, students cannot take part in intensive learning; the lecturer's explanation is less interesting; lack of student participation in learning; sudden adaptation difficulties for some lecturers.

Abstract

The implementation of curriculum is a systemic process including many stakeholders. The effectiveness of a curriculum can be evaluated after it is implemented in the classroom where the teachers and the students are actively involved. The teachers, therefore, should show competency and responsibility in implementing curriculum. The current articles discusses several issues related to the implementation of curriculum in Arabic Department, namely, (1)definition of implementation, (2) definition of curriculum, (3) implementation of curriculum, (4)stages in implementing curriculum at Arabic Department.

Abstract

The strategic role of the curriculum will trigger the efficiency and effectiveness of learning. The curriculum directs all learning activities while essential to realizing a quality educational institution. Seeing the orientation and role of the curriculum, curricular changes can occur at any time by existing needs. Social changes in society and the development of Science and technology should be immediately responded to in curriculum development at every level of Education. This type of qualitative research understands the phenomenon experienced by research subjects, such as action, thought, motivation, and others. At the same time, the researchers used a descriptive approach. The results show that the reality of Arabic language education today should be an excellent opportunity to create brighter prospects for enthusiasts and activists of the Arabic language in the future. Scientific epistemology and curriculum must always be addressed and developed to plan the curriculum to produce a wide range of curriculum specifics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the types of grammatical errors made by students of the Arabic Language Study Program at Sayyid Ali Rahmatullah University, Tulungagung and correlate them with the views of Abdulqahir al-Jurjani. The methodology used is as follows: Type of research: This study is considered a qualitative descriptive study, the method used to find, analyze, understand, and comment on texts with Al-Jurjani's views, and (2) Data collection and analysis methods: This analysis has steps, namely: (1) collecting samples (academic theses) and Al-Jurjani's views related to the title; (2) identifying errors made by the sample; (3) clarifying the errors; (4) classifying the errors according to their causes and then commenting on Al-Jurjani's views. The results of this study are: (1) Abdulqahir al-Jurjani's views on grammar: grammatical and morphological rules ensure accuracy in sentence construction, and words in sentences influence each other; (2) Common grammatical errors in students' writing: first: grammatical errors in identifying the dependent and agent of a word or sentence; second: grammatical errors in identifying additional words. Third: Grammatical errors in determining the position of words in a sentence, which is useful for masculine, feminine, indefinite, and definite nouns. (3) Grammatical errors from Abdul-Qaher Al-Jurjani's perspective: Sentence structure and the relationship between words are very important. Words in a sentence influence each other through what are called "agents" (effects that change the final form of a word) and "operands" (words that influence). Al-Jurjani calls for thinking about language use. (4) Contributions of grammatical errors from Abdul-Qaher Al-Jurjani's perspective to teaching writing skills: His contributions are of two types: theoretical and practical. Theoretical include: (1) improving the understanding of sentence structure in Arabic, which improves language skills; (2) describing error patterns; (3) developing teaching methods; (4) reflecting on writing skills; (5) contributing to the study and learning of language. Its practical contributions are: (1) identifying and correcting common errors; (2) developing teaching materials; (3) focusing on specific skills or subjects; (4) increasing linguistic awareness; (5) assessing learning progress; (6) adapting learning to individual needs; (7) Motivation to learn.
