Abstract

Teachers who still do not have pedagogical competence are not able to create good learning conditions and cannot condition students' learning methods to be effective and successful due to teachers' literacy culture and limited ability to manage learning. The aim of this research was to determine the influence of literacy culture on the pedagogical competence of high school/vocational school level Buddhist teachers in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative research methods. This researcher used a survey approach with a sample of 37 high school/vocational school teachers in various regions in Indonesia via Google form. The results of this research are that literacy culture influences teacher pedagogical competence. This is proven by the regression coefficient value of the literacy culture variable (t calculated) which is 2.835 compared to the t table of 2.059, the significance of the literacy culture variable on the related variable, namely teacher pedagogical competence, is 0.009 or smaller than the error threshold value of 0.05.

Abstract

This research was conducted in order to analyze the skills of Buddhist teachers in conducting learning evaluations at SD Negeri 3 Sokaraja, to describe the process of implementing learning evaluations carried out by Buddhist teachers at SD Negeri 3 Sokaraja. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Through in-depth exploration of Teacher Skills in Learning Evaluation at SD Negeri 3 Sokaraja, data collection in this research used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The research subjects were Buddhist education teachers, Buddhist students, and the principal at SD Negeri 3 Sokaraja. The research results show that early stage teachers need to understand the concept of assessment such as the definition of assessment, objectives, functions, principles and types. Teacher competency in evaluation activities includes evaluation program planning, evaluation program design, evaluation program development, evaluation program implementation and evaluation. In the evaluation process itself, teachers must be able to plan and carry out evaluations, process data, write reports, and use evaluation results.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the General Election Commission’s strategy through election education in increasing the political participation of new voters based on democratic principles. This research is a qualitative research. The results of this study indicate that novice voters basically need political education regarding elections held by the General Elections Commission. The condition of beginner voters who are still vulnerable to negative politics is certainly an obstacle to the progress of democracy in Indonesia. With political education for novice voters, of course the expected results at the upcoming democratic party in 2024 are increasing awareness of young voters.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh banyaknya komunitas yang memanfaatkan instagram sebagai media untuk berkomunikasi dan berinteraksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan di salah satu komunitas yang sedang trend dikalangan anak muda di Instagram, yaitu Komunitas Ruang Edit. Instagam dipilih menjadi salah satu media sosial yang aktif digunakan oleh komunitas ruang edit. Dengan nama akun (@ruang_edit), instagram tersebut difungsikan dalam pemanfaatan media untuk penyebaran informasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali apa saja pemanfaatan dan bagaimana komunitas ruang edit memanfaatkan instagram sebagai media komunikasi dan berinteraksi, mulai dari peran media sosial Instagram, proses pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram dan dampak pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram, bagi komunitas ruang edit. Metode yang digunakan untuk melakukan penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif, metode ini digunakan karena pemanfaatan yang digunakan tidak bisa di dihitung berdasarkan data tetapi perlu adanya observasi dan wawancara lebih jauh. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pengumpulan data, Reduksi data, dan Penarik Kesimpulan. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa instagram pada komunitas ruang edit dinilai sangat baik dalam segi pemanfaatanya dan berdampak pada lingkungan masyarakat. Besarnya komunitas ruang edit di pengaruhi dengan adanya peran media sosial Instagram. Melalui peran media sosial Instagram, proses pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram dan dampak pemanfaatan media sosial Instagram, komunitas ruang edit menjadi salah satu komunitas yang besar pada sektor industri kreatif media sosial Instagram.
