Fairclough mengemukakan bahwa analisis teks merupakan analisis terhadap teks yang terdapat dalam wacana. Teks dinilai sebagai domain representasi dan signifikasi dunia dan pengalaman dan lain- lain. teks terbuka untuk berbagai interpretasi. Bentuk teks yang dapat dianalisis dalam membongkar makna melalui dimensi tekstual, diantaranya adalah Kohesi dan Koherensi dan analisis tata bahasa Analisis tata bahasa dalam analisis wacana kritis lebih ditekankan pada sudut klausa yang terdapat dalam wacana. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tata bahasa dalam teks Warta berita online yang dianalisis dari sudut modalitasnya.Metode penelitian yang diguanakan adalah penjaringan data menggunakan tools korpus, data dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan AWK. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa telah ditemukan jenis modalitas jenis modalitas Intensional, Epistemik, Deontik, Dinamik, Aletis.

Teman Tuli adalah salah satu dari bagian elemen masyarakat yang mengalami keterhambatan dalam mendengar serta memproduksi bahasa, dimana hal tersebut menyebabkan dampak yang cukup kompleks dalam kehidupan sosialnya. Tujuan penelian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana proses pembentukan self esteem dan self identity pada teman Tuli di organisasi GERKATIN Depok yang diawali dengan self disclosure dari teman Tuli itu sendiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode fenomenologi. Selain itu penelitian ini juga menggunakan teori identitas sosial yang di temukan oleh Henri Tajfel. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan jika teman Tuli sebenarnya tidak tertutup kepada teman dengar, justru sebenarnya teman Tuli ingin lebih dekat dengan teman dengar. Karena dengan bertukar pikiran dengan teman dengar, secara tidak langsung dapat meningkatkan self esteem dari teman Tuli. Selain itu identitas diri yang terbentuk pada teman Tuli adalah keinginan untuk dipanggil Tuli dibandingakan tunarungu, Karena Tuli merupakan identitas yang dilambangkan dengan kemampuan berbahasa isyarat.

This study aims to determine the effect of Green Marketing and Green Brand Image on users attitudes of The Body Shop Indonesia products empirically, either partially or simultaneously. The population in this study are followers of the Instagram account @thebodyshopindo who have purchased The Body Shop products and used them. This study used a sample of 100 respondents where the questionnaire was distributed using google form through social media Instagram. Sampling using purposive sampling method. The data analysis method used multiple linear regression, with partial and simultaneous hypothesis testing and processed using SPSS version 25 for Windows. The results showed that the two independent variables, namely Green Marketing and Green Brand Image, had a positive and significant effect either partially or simultaneously on the dependent variable of user attitudes. In addition, this study explains that user attitudes are influenced by 68.5% by Green Marketing and Green Brand Image, the remaining 31.5% is influenced by other factors.

Sebagai salah satu maskapai berbiaya hemat (low cost carrier) di Indonesia, Citilink Indonesia hadir dengan kemasan unik disetiap penerbangannya melalui konsep young, fun and dynamic yang khususnya direpresentasikan para awak kabin mereka. Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk menganalisis penerapan crew resources management oleh Citilink Indonesia dalam kaitannya dengan impression management yang dilakukan oleh awak kabin Citilink Indonesia. Pada penelitian ini, peneliti menggunakan analisis konsep impression management pada crew resources management dalam komunikasi organisasi dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui pendekatan studi kasus dan menggunakan paradigma interpretif dalam memandang permasalahan dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian yang telah didapatkan, peneliti menemukan bahwa awak kabin Citilink Indonesia melakukan impression management atau pengelolaan kesan dengan menjadikan crew resources management sebagai sebuah pedoman, yang dimana hal ini terlihat melalui cara mereka dalam merepresentasikan diri dengan mengikuti kebijakan serta aturan yang telah ditetapkan oleh perusahaan yang meliputi berbagai aspek seperti performance, communication skill, knowledge, poise and grace(attitude), problem solving, team work dan decision making atau pengambilan keputusan agar dapat memberikan kepuasan terhadap safety, security dan service kepada penumpang. Sehingga peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penerapan Crew Resources Management merupakan sebuah langkah pembentukan kesan yang dilakukan Citilink Indonesia terhadap awak kabinnya untuk dapat merepresentasikan perusahaan dengan baik melalui serangkaian tahap persiapan secara matang guna meminimalisir hal-hal yang tidak diinginkan yang diakibatkan oleh human error.

This research aims to determine and analyze thePhenomenon Internet Addiction Disorder of Gen Z.The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, in which the researcher makes observations involved, structured interviews that have been made previously with reference to aspects or indicators of existing variables.The theory used is the CMC (Computer Mediated Communication) theory and the Lifestyle theory.The results show that the role of social media Instagram has a huge impact on progresslifestyle of the younger generation.Instagram it's not just to post pictures and videos, but makes it easy for users to find information or anything they want. Even thoughInstagram has many positive impacts, for them it is possible to have many negative impacts. The negative impact of excessive use of social media can reduce the social, health and mental illness of the younger generation.

The phenomenon of cultural vinegar is one of the crucial problems that often occurs among migrant communities, especially for those who migrate from the original area to the new residential area. Good consideration needs to be made to determine the success or failure of the socialization process that occurs in the new environment. The purpose of this research is to study, consider, and analyze the factors causing cultural shock and unrest in overseas students from Bengkulu and Maluku in universities that focus on Gunadarma University and how they overcome these problems. This study uses the Anxiety / Uncertainty Management Theory and intercultural adaptation theory. This study uses qualitative methods, using phenomenology and constructivist paradigms. Data collection techniques are done by interview and observation. The technique of checking validity data uses source triangulation. The results of this study show some interesting differences between overseas students from Maluku and Bengkulu that improve cultural conditions in discussion and involve social in the new environment starting from related factors (anxiety), and communication patterns used. The conclusions in this study indicate that Maluku students look more relaxed and do not consider that they really need a culture shock when they are in a new environment, while students from Bengkulu immediately point out that they really use culture shock

Smartphones are mobile phones that can function like a computer with various advanced features to support the activities of users. One of them is the camera to create quality photos that outperform photographic tools. The development of smartphone front camera technology encourages the emergence of selfie phenomena among millennials. The millennial generation is the generation that is heavily influenced by smartphones, the internet, and social media. One of social media that focuses on visual content with text as a complement is Instagram. This study aims to determine the effect of Instagram selfie on Millennial Generation self openness. The theory used in this research is The Uses and Gratification Theory. The method used in this study is a quantitative method with a positivist paradigm and researchers collect the data using questionnaire. This research was conducted in millennials with an age range of 19-39 years. The sample in this study amounted to 100 respondents, using the Cluster Sampling technique. From the correlation analysis between Selfie Motive variables on Instagram and Self Disclosure variables have a fairly strong and positive relationship. After the regression test, the equation Y = 12,009 + 1,027 X was produced with the result of a coefficient of determination of 52.1%, which indicates that the self-disclosure of the millennial generation is influenced by selfie motives on Instagram, while the rest is caused by other factors.

This article provide a study of theories and concepts regarding the election of Surabaya mayor 2015-2019. The approach used is a comprehensive study of political marketing by Lee Marshment in 2001. Surabaya became the object of the review in this article with various uniqueness of the socialization process of Mayor Election or Pilwali by installing countdown timers and various lanterns in the 2015 Pilwali Surabaya mascot to target beginner voters in Surabaya. Marketable Branding topics are a strategic issue because they involve the way a political institution in formulating a political product, arranging a campaign publication program and political communication, and a segmentation strategy to meet the needs of the society to the price calculation of a political product. The sociocultural conditions of a geographical and demographic area must also be taken into account in the segmentation and formulation of political issues. Surabaya was able to become a kind of role modeling in the preparation of SWOT branding politicians for other regions in Indonesia.

Without realizing it, the development of the child's character does not appear spontaneously. There is a process that is experienced and passed, one of which is the development phase. The earliest character development period is for early childhood. How important are parents to notice the formation of the character of the early childhood they have. When talking about the formation of early childhood characters, we become reminded of the environmental and family factors that are close to the child. In this article, the author wants to discuss about the process of character building early childhood in three elements; family, school, and community. Based on the results of the study conducted, the authors found that the process of forming the character of early childhood, beginning from the family, then followed by the school, and the community followed by these early childhood. This community includes the play community, the tutoring community or the talent development course institution that the early childhood participates in. But, the main determining factor is the family as the smallest and first community for the children.

Effective communication is certainly the dream of everyone who does it. Not separated from the communication process, early childhood also interacts to achieve the desired communication goals. In this article, the author discusses the efforts to build effective communication for teachers and early childhood in the X PAUD institution in Bandung. The author sees this topic as very important because it is an urgency now to express the creation of effective communication between teachers and early childhood in their PAUD institutions. This study uses a qualitative approach to the case study method. The author raises a case about efforts to build effective communication in the PAUD X institution. This study is very suitable to be analyzed with symbolic interaction theory because there is a meaning in the communication process conducted by teachers with early childhood in the PAUD institution. The results showed that there were efforts made to build effective communication between teachers and early childhood, including: (1) PAUD teachers as communicators must have characteristics of patience, willingness to sacrifice, attention, assertiveness, and be able to attract early childhood attention; (2) the existence of media / tools used by PAUD teachers at the X institution to achieve effective communication for teachers and early childhood; (3) PAUD teachers must understand the diverse character of their students
