Abstract

This research was conducted in the Kumpeh Subdistrict, Muaro Jambi Regency. The study was conducted using a survey method and sampling was carried out on the sample farmer groups. The research objective is to determine the income and the contribution of red chilli farming to the income of farmers. The results of the study found that the average income of red chilli farming in Maju Jaya Village, Kumpeh District was Rp. 40,353,243 per hectare with an average cost of farming a red chili pepper Rp.18,412,535 per hectare. There are five business patterns in the red chilli farm that is cultivated by sample farmers in Maju Jaya Village, Kumpeh District. The average income of red chilli farming for each business pattern is that in business pattern I is Rp. 5,441,957 per month, in business pattern II is Rp. 5,646,574 per month, in business pattern III is Rp. 5,904,642 per month, in business pattern IV is Rp. 6,542,844 per month, and in business pattern V of Rp 3,993,654 per month. While the contribution of red chilli farming income to the lowest income of farmers is in business pattern I, namely red chilli farming and oil palm farming. The contribution of red chilli farming income to farmers' income during the red chilli planting season is in business pattern I of 45.2%, in pattern II of 72.8%, in business pattern III of 71.7%, in business pattern IV of 70, 8%, and the business pattern V is 69.9%. This shows that the red chili farming contributes greatly to the income of farmers in Maju Jaya Village, Kumpeh District.

Abstract

This study was aimed at: (1) Knowing the description of the supply chain of red chili and, (2) Analyzing the supply chain performance of red chili in the city of Jambi. This research was conducted in Jambi City starting from the Angso Duo Central Market using primary data and secondary data. The analytical method used is descriptive using the Food Supply Chain Network (FSCN) framework and the marketing efficiency approach, through marketing margin analysis, farmer's share analysis and profit-to-cost ratio. The number of respondents was 30 farmers, 17 wholesalers and 8 wholesalers. From the research results it can be seen that (1): the supply chain of red chili still does not meet the desired criteria in the FSCN analysis framework, but it already has a clear target market but supply chain management is not well managed, red chili comes from two sources, namely from farmers and from various production centers through wholesalers, (2) the performance of the supply chain of red chili in Jambi City shows inefficient conditions. This can be seen from the results of the analysis of marketing margins, farmer's share, and profit-to-cost ratios which show that they have not been equally profitable for each member of the supply chain involved. The marketing channel for red chili from farmers that shows the most efficient condition is the marketing channel I. Meanwhile, the supply channel for red chili from various production centers through wholesalers shows the most efficient condition is supply channel II.

Abstract

This researchaims aims to (1) to find out the description of the condition of the KUD that is still active in Sungai Bahar and South Bahar Subdistricts, Muaro Jambi Regency South Bahar. (2) Knowing the effect of business volume, number of members and own capital on the acquisition of the remaining operating results in KUD in Sungai Bahar and South Bahar Districts. The object of research is KUD which is still active in conducting Annual Member Meetings and has a business unit other than marketing Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB), savings and loans. This research was conducted from September to October 2017. The data used is secondary data obtained directly from cooperatives through books, archives related to Business Remaining for 5 years from 2012 to 2016 and from the UMKM Department and the Muaro Regency Industry and Trade Cooperative Service Jambi and other related literature. KUDs taken as samples are KUD ​​Mekar Sari, KUD Tandan Buah Segar, KUD Selikur Makmur, KUD Sumber Makmur, KUD Sri Rejeki and KUD Dwi Jaya on the consideration that the six KUDs are still active in conducting Annual Member Meetings and have other business units besides marketing FFB and savings and Loan. The results showed that (1) KUDs that were still active in Sungai Bahar Subdistrict were 5 KUDs from 11 existing KUDs and 5 KUDs that were still active in the South Bahar District of the 7 KUDs that were available. KUDs that are no longer active are caused by no longer routinely performing RATs, misappropriation of cooperative funds and declining member participation due to internal conflicts with members of the cooperative management. (2) From the results of multiple linear analysis, the business volume variable does not significantly affect the acquisition of operating results with value. probability of 0.2296 means that it is greater than the real level of 0.05, this is due to the high level of credit of members in the cooperative and not paying credit debt on time and the amount that has been determined, the variable number of members and own capital together have a real effect regarding the acquisition of operating results with a probability value of 0.0002 and 0.0003, respectively.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh antara modal sendiri dan modal pinjaman terhadap SHU KUD. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Data yang dikumpulakan adalah KUD yang aktif melakukan Rapat Anggota Tahunan dari tahun 2008-2010. Analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda dengan uji statistik F. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah SHU dan variabel independennya adalah modal sendiri dan modal pinjaman.Dari hasil penelitian didapat nilai Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel pada taraf kepercayaan 95% yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara modal sendiri dan modal pinjama terhadap SHU KUD. Nilai R2 adalah 0,359 yang artinya perubahan variasi variabel SHU sebagai variabel dependen dapat dijelaskan oleh perubahan variasi variabel modal sendiri dan modal pinjaman sebagai variabel independen sebesar 35,9%. Uji lanjut, uji t menunjukkan bahwa secara parsial modal sendiri dan modal pinjaman memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap SHU. Dari hasil regresi memperlihatkan bahwa modal sendiri memiliki pengaruh yang positif sedangkan modal pinjaman memiliki pengaruh yang negatif terhadap SHU. Kata kunci : Modal, SHU, KUD

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menentukan strategi bauran pemasaran Kerupuk jangek pada Agroindustri di Kota Jambi, (2) mengetahui pengaruh strategi bauran pemasaran terhadap volume penjualan kerupuk jangek di Kota Jambi. Data yang digunakan adalah data pada Januari - Agustus 2012 selama ± 8 bulan terakhir (25 minggu), dimana data tersebut dikumpulkan secara kumulatif per minggunya. Data yang dikumpulkan terdiri dari data primer (observasi, interview) dan data sekunder. Data disusun, diolah dan dianalisis secara deskriptif kuantitatif dan diperkuat dengan analisis preferensi konsumen dengan melakukan uji inderawi sesuai dengan variabel yang diteliti. Untuk metode kuantitatif dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis Regresi Linier Berganda yang mencakup aspek biaya promosi, biaya distribusi dan volume penjualan melalui hasil wawancara menggunakan kuisoner. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan nilai R2 sebesar 72,5% yang menunjukan variasi volume penjualan dapat dijelaskan oleh variasi biaya promosi dan distribusi sedangkan  27,5 % dijelaskan oleh faktor lain. F hitung (28.962  ) > F tabel (3,47) sehingga hipotesis diterima yang berarti secara keseluruhan promosi, dan distribusi berpengaruh nyata terhadap volume penjualan kerupuk jangek. Abstract

Penelitian ini menganalisis elastisitas transmisi harga bahan olah karet pada saluran pemasaran koperasi dan bukan koperasi di Kecamatan Mestong Kabupaten Muaro Jambi. Daerah ini merupakan salah satu daerah penghasil bahan olah karet terbesar di Muaro Jambi dan memiliki luas lahan yang besar pula. Keberadaan lembaga pemasaran di Kecamatan Mestong sangat dibutuhkan dalam memasarkan produk bahan olah karet. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui (1) perkembangan harga bokar harga pabrik dan harga bokar pada saluran pemasaran koperasi, kelompok tani dan pedagang desa (toke) di Kecamatan Mestong Kabupaten Muaro Jambi (2) elastisitas transmisi harga bokar pabrik terhadap harga bokar pada petani yang menjual bokar melalui saluran pemasaran koperasi, kelompok tani dan pedagang desa (toke). Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian secara purposive, koperasi di Kecamatan Mestong dipilih karena terdapat koperasi yang melakukan usaha pemasaran bokar langsung ke pabrik dalam bentuk kemitraan. Kelompok Tani di Kecamatan Mestong dipilih yang merupakan kelompok tani yang khusus mengusahakan pemasaran bokar. Pedagang desa (toke) yang dipilih merupakan pedagang yang langsung membeli dan memasarkan bokar petani. Dengan analisis transmisi harga bahan olah karet pada harga pabrik terhadap harga bahan olah karet pada tiga lembaga pemasaran di Kecamatan Mestong nilai elastisitas pada saluran koperasi adalah 0,989 kelompok tani 0,956 dan pedagang desa (toke) 0,904. Elastisitas transmisi harga di koperasi dapat dikatakan sempurna, peningkatan harga dan penurunan harga di tingkat pabrik dapat di transmisikan secara sempurna ke petani melalui koperasi. Saluran selain koperasi dapat dikatakan kurang sempurna dengan nilai elastisitas transmisi harga kurang dari satu sehingga peningkatan dan penurunan harga di transmisikan tidak sempurna melalui kelompok tani dan pedagang desa (toke).   Kata kunci : elastisitas transmisi harga, bahan olah karet, perkembangan harga
